The nature of the magnetic ground state near the insulator-metal transition (IMT) in La(1-x)Ba(x)CoO3 was investigated via neutron scattering. Below the critical concentration, x(c)~0.22, a commensurate antiferromagnetic (AFM) phase appears initially. Upon approaching x(c), the AFM component weakens and a ferromagnetic (FM) ordered phase sets in while in the rhombohedral lattice. At x(c), a spin flip to a new FM structure occurs at the same time as the crystal symmetry transforms to orthorhombic (Pnma). The Pnma phase may be the driving force for the IMT. 相似文献

We present a extended-cavity diode laser (ECDL) with kilohertz linewidth by optical feedback from a monolithic folded Fabry-Perot cavity (MFC). In our experiments, an MFC replaces the retroreflecting mirror in the traditional ECDL configuration. Beat-note measurements between this MFC-ECDL and a narrow-linewidth reference laser are performed and demonstrate that the linewidth of this MFC-ECDL is about 6.8 kHz. Phase locking of this MFC-ECDL to the reference laser is achieved with a unity gain as small as 10.2 kHz. 相似文献

A gray-trace resistance KTP (GTR-KTP) second Stokes Raman laser intracavity driven by a diode-pumped acousto-optic Q-switched Nd:YVO4 laser was first demonstrated in this paper. With an incident pump power of 9.5 W, the intracavity GTR-KTP Raman laser, operating at the repetition rate of 20 kHz, produced the maximum average output power of 860 mW at 1129 nm. The minimum pulse width obtained in this GTR-KTP Raman laser was 10.8 ns. When the GTR-KTP was substituted with a common KTP, a lower average output power of 720 mW and longer pulse width of 15.9 ns were obtained in the common KTP Raman laser under the same pump condition and cavity setup as the GTR-KTP Raman laser. Experimental results indicated that the decreased absorption at the fundamental and Stokes wave in GTR-KTP was beneficial to improve the stimulated Raman scattering performance. 相似文献

The relationship between magnetostriction and structure of melt-spun Fes3Ga17 ribbons are investigated by XRD and M5ssbauer spectrum technique (MS). As the heat-treatment temperature increases from 650℃ to 800℃, the magnetostriction coefficient of Fes3Ga17 ribbon first increases and then decreases. The largest magnetostriction coeiffcient (-578.4 ppm) is achieved in those specimens quenched at 750oc. According to the XRD and MSssbauer spectrum anal- ysis, a small quantity of DO3 phase is precipitated in Fe83Ga17 ribbons when quenched from 650℃ and the DO3 phase is gradually transformed into B2-1ike phase if quenched at higher temperature. However, both DO3 and B2-1ike phases disappear when the temperature increases up to 800℃. From this point of view, B2-1ike phase might be beneficial to the enhancement of magnetostrictive properties of melt-spun ribbons. 相似文献

We present the first experimental determination of the electric-dipole forbidden (3s3p)3P?→(3s2)1S? (M2) transition rate in 2?Mg and compare to state-of-the-art theoretical predictions. Our measurement exploits a magnetic trap isolating the sample from perturbations and a magneto-optical trap as an amplifier converting each 3P?→1S? decay event into millions of photons readily detected. The transition rate is determined to be (4.87 ± 0.3)×10?? s?1 corresponding to a 3P? lifetime of 2050(-110)(+140) sec. This value is in agreement with recent theoretical predictions, and to our knowledge the longest lifetime ever determined in a laboratory environment. 相似文献

Graphene oxide (GO) sheets were pre-modified with a typical piezoelectric polymer, poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF), using a simple supercritical carbon dioxide (SC CO2) method, and then the PVDF-decorated GO was added into a PVDF matrix by solution blending. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) revealed that the decorating degree of PVDF on the surface of the GO increased significantly with increasing of SC CO2 pressure and PVDF concentration. The mechanism of the polymer adsorption on the GO sheets through favorable interaction between the GO and PVDF chains was identified via Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Further, the crystallization behavior of PVDF/GO composites was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), FTIR and polarized optical microscopy (POM). Interestingly, the composite with PVDF-decorated GO as the filler showed higher β-phase content compared to the composite with pristine GO as the filler. The study showed that the supercritical fluid-induced epitaxial crystallization process has significant potential for fabricating functional GO-based nanocomposties containing piezoelectric or conducting materials. 相似文献

Poly(butylene succinate-co-adipate) (PBSA)/poly (trimethylene carbonate) (PTMC) blend samples with different weight ratios were prepared by solution blending. The morphologies after isothermal crystallization and in the melt were observed by optical microscopy (OM). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used to characterize the isothermal crystallization kinetics and melting behaviors. According to the OM image before and after melting, it was found that the blends formed heterogenous morphologies. When the PTMC content was low (20%), PBSA formed the continuous phase, while when the PTMC contents was high (40%), PBSA formed the dispersed phase. The glass transition temperatures (Tg) of the blends were determined by DSC and the differences of the Tg values were smaller than the difference between those of pure PBSA and PTMC. In addition, the equilibrium melting points were depressed in the blends. According to these results, the PBSA/PTMC blends were determined as being partially miscible blends. The crystallization kinetics was investigated according to the Avrami equation. It was found that the incorporation of PTMC did not change the crystallization mechanism of PBSA. However, the crystallization rate decreased with the increase of PTMC contents. The change of crystallization kinetics is related with the existences of amorphous PTMC, the partial miscibility between PLLA and PTMC, and the changes of phase structures. 相似文献
