The known aryne complex (PEt3)2Ni(eta2-C6H2-4,5-F2) (1a) reacts with a catalytic amount of Br2Ni(PEt3)2 over 1% Na/Hg to afford the dinuclear Ni(I) biarylyl complex [(PEt3)2Ni]2(mu-eta1:eta1-3,4-F2C6H2-3',4'-F2C6H2) (2a), which results from a combination of C-C bond formation and C-H bond rearrangement. The dinuclear benzyne [(PEt3)2Ni]2(mu-eta2:eta2-C6H2-4,5-F2) (3) was obtained by the reaction of 1a with a stoichiometric amount of Br2Ni(PEt3)2 over excess 1% Na/Hg, and 3 was found to catalyze the conversion of 1a to 2a. The reaction of 1a with B(C6F5)3 produced the trinuclear complex (PEt3)3Ni3(mu3:eta1:eta1:eta2-4,5-F2C6H2)(mu3:eta1:eta1:eta2-4,5-F2C6H2-4',5'-F2C6H2) (6). The addition of PEt3 to 6 produced 1 equiv of 1a and 1 equiv of [(PEt3)2Ni]2(mu-eta1:eta1-4,5-F2C6H2-4',5'-F2C6H2) (7a). Both 6 and 7a were identified as intermediates in the conversion of 1a to 2a. The analogue [(PEt3)(PMe3)Ni]2(mu-eta1:eta1-4,5-F2C6H2-4',5'-F2C6H2) (7b) was prepared by the addition of PMe3 to 6 and was structurally characterized. NMR spectroscopic evidence identified the additional asymmetric biarylyl [(PEt3)2Ni]2(mu-eta1:eta1-4,5-F2C6H2-3',4'-F2C6H2) (8a) during the conversion of 1a to 2a. The initial observation of 2 equiv of 8a for every equivalent of 2a produced from solutions of 7a suggests that 8a and 2a are formed from a common intermediate. A crossover labeling experiment shows that the C-H bond rearrangement steps in the conversion of 1a to 2a occur with the intermolecular scrambling of hydrogen and deuterium labels. The evidence collected suggests that Ni(I) complexes are capable of activating aromatic C-H bonds.  相似文献

The effect of treating explicitly the coulombic and polarization interactions is investigated through the calculation of the coexistence curve of the pentane-H2S binary mixture. In this work, potential models have been developed for hydrogen sulphide and pentane, which include electrostatic sites—estimated from ab initio calculations—and polarizable sites—estimated from experimental data—in addition to Lennard-Jones sites. Compared to existing models, these new models have the same number of fitting parameters to experimental thermodynamic data. They are shown to correctly describe the coexistence curve of the pure compounds. When applied to the case of mixtures, together with Lorentz-Berthelot combining rules, they allow one to obtain a more accurate prediction of the coexisting compositions of the mixture. Furthermore, it is shown that the interaction energy in this kind of mixture cannot be properly described by using effective potential models usually considered for pure compounds.  相似文献

Non-equilibrium molecular dynamics (NEMD) are used to calculate the vortex or rotational viscosity of fluids composed of uniaxial molecules. It is shown that the NEMD homogeneous spin flow algorithm proposed by Edberg, R., Evans, D. J., and Moriss, G. P., 1987, Molec. Phys., 62, 1357 considerably underestimates the vortex viscosity. A modified version of this algorithm is proposed and applied to liquid chlorine and nitrogen. The results are in good agreement with previous work using equilibrium or other NEMD methods, and also show that at high spin rates the vortex viscosity decreases with increase in magnitude of the external torque used to drive the spin flow.  相似文献

The complex ((i)Pr(3)P)Ni(η(2)-Bu(3)SnCH=CH(2))(2) (1a) was characterized by NMR spectroscopy and was identified as the active species for catalytic C-H bond stannylation of partially fluorinated aromatics, for example in the reaction between pentafluorobenzene and Bu(3)SnCH=CH(2), which generates C(6)F(5)SnBu(3) and ethylene. The crystalline complex ((i)Pr(3)P)Ni(η(2)-Ph(3)SnCH=CH(2))(2) (1b) provides a more easily handled analogue, and is also capable of catalytic stannylation with added Ph(3)SnCH=CH(2) and C(6)F(5)H. Mechanistic studies on 1b show that the catalytically active species remains mononuclear. The rate of catalytic stannylation is proportional to [C(6)F(5)H] and inversely proportional to [Ph(3)SnCH=CH(2)]. This is consistent with a mechanism where reversible Ph(3)SnCH=CH(2) dissociation provides ((i)Pr(3)P)Ni(η(2)-Ph(3)SnCH=CH(2)), followed by a rate-determining reaction with C(6)F(5)H to generate the stannylation products. Kinetic competition reactions between the fluorinated aromatics pentafluorobenzene, 1,2,4,5-tetrafluorobenzene, 1,2,3,5-tetrafluorobenzene, 1,2,4-trifluorobenzene, 1,3,5-trifluorobenzene and 1,3-difluorobenzene all suggest significant Ni-aryl bond formation in the rate-determining step under catalytic conditions. Labelling studies are consistent with an insertion of the hydrogen of the arene into the vinyl group, followed by β-elimination or β-abstraction of the SnPh(3) moiety.  相似文献
