In quasimagnetic tunnel junctions with a EuS spin-filter tunnel barrier between Al and Co electrodes, we observed large magnetoresistance (MR). The bias dependence shows an abrupt increase of MR ratio in high bias voltage, which is contrary to conventional magnetic tunnel junctions. This behavior can be understood as due to Fowler-Nordheim tunneling through the fully spin-polarized EuS conduction band. The I-V characteristics and bias dependence of MR calculated using tunneling theory show excellent agreement with experiment. 相似文献

Ferromagnetic Resonance (FMR) measurements at room temperature and X-band microwave frequency were performed on polycrystalline FePt thin films with face-centered cubic structure. With the external field perpendicular to the film plane, the absorption fields Hn of the odd and even spin-wave resonance modes n detected for the Fe0.44Pt0.56(45 nm)/Si(1 0 0) and Fe0.51Pt0.49(105 nm)/Pt(55 nm)/MgO(1 0 0) films, were found to obey the well-known Hn×n2 ratio, giving for these films the exchange stiffness constant values of 3.9×10−8 and 4.4×10–7 erg/cm, respectively. The study of the out-of-plane angular dependence of the absorption field of the uniform FMR mode allowed the measurement of the effective magnetic anisotropy constants of 5.3×106 , 6.4×106 , and 6.7×106 erg/cm3, related, respectively, to the [1 1 1], [1 0 0], and [1 1 0] textures present in the films. 相似文献

Letter: Active Gravitational Mass and the Invariant Characterization of Reissner–Nordström Spacetime
We analyse the concept of active gravitational mass for Reissner-Nordström spacetime in terms of scalar polynomial invariants and the Karlhede classification. We show that while the Kretschmann scalar does not produce the expected expression for the active gravitational mass, both scalar polynomial invariants formed from the Weyl tensor, and the Cartan scalars, do. 相似文献

Quasi-one-dimensional Bose–Einstein condensates (BECs) in elongated traps exhibit significant phase fluctuations even at very
low temperatures. We present recent experimental results on the dynamic transformation of phase fluctuations into density
modulations during time of flight and show the excellent quantitative agreement with the theoretical prediction. In addition
we confirm that, under our experimental conditions, in the magnetic trap density modulations are strongly suppressed even
when the phase fluctuates. We also discuss our theoretical results on control of the condensate phase by employing a time-dependent
perturbation. Our results set important limitations on future applications of BECs in precision atom interferometry and atom
optics, but at the same time suggest pathways to overcome these limitations.

We investigate the matching, across cylindrical surfaces, of static cylindrically symmetric conformally flat spacetimes with a cosmological constant $\Lambda $ , satisfying regularity conditions at the axis, to an exterior Linet–Tian spacetime. We prove that for $\Lambda \le 0$ such matching is impossible. On the other hand, we show through simple examples that the matching is possible for $\Lambda >0$ . 结合声表面波和光致发光谱在低温(15K)下对非故意掺杂的GaAs(110)量子阱结构的发光特性进行了研究.实验结果表明,由于声表面波的作用GaAs(110)量子阱的发光强度减弱,并且其对应的重空穴能级出现了分裂的现象,当施加的声波强度Prf达到20dBm时,能级分裂ΔE达到了10meV.进一步讨论了声表面波对GaAs(110)量子阱圆偏振光自旋注入的影响.
