In multiple linear regression model, we have presupposed assumptions (independence, normality, variance homogeneity and so on) on error term. When case weights are given because of variance heterogeneity, we can estimate efficiently regression parameter using weighted least squares estimator. Unfortunately, this estimator is sensitive to outliers like ordinary least squares estimator. Thus, in this paper, we proposed some statistics for detection of outliers in weighted least squares regression.  相似文献

Three-dimensional flow characteristics in a liquid fuel ramjet combustor were investigated using the PIV method. The combustor had two rectangular inlets that form a 90-degree angle with each other, with intake angles of 30 degrees. Three guide vanes were installed in each rectangular inlet to improve flow stability. The experiments were performed in a water tunnel test with the same Reynolds number as Mach 0.3 at the inlet. PIV software was developed to measure the characteristics of the flow field in the combustor. Accuracy of the developed PIV program was verified with a rotating disk experiment and standard data. The experimental results showed that the two main streams from the rectangular intakes collided near the plane of symmetry and generated two large longitudinal vortices, which was in agreement with three dimensional computational results. A large and complex threedimensional recirculating flow was measured behind the intakes.  相似文献

A main‐chain, azoaromatic, chromophore‐functionalized polyelectrolyte with an oligomeric molecular weight was synthesized by the reaction of 4,4′‐azobispyridine and 1,6‐dibromohexane. The polyelectrolyte was designed to contain ionic groups to impart electrostatic self‐assembly with polyanion and azoaromatic groups for photoprocessability. The polymer solution exhibited a solvatochromic effect, having different absorption maxima in water (294 nm) and N,N‐dimethylformamide (400 nm). By a change in the counteranions of the bispyridinium groups, the solubility of the polymer could be controlled, and this made it possible to fabricate electrostatic assembled films or spin‐cast films for further applications. The direct photofabrication of laser‐induced interference patterns on polymer surfaces with large surface modulation was also investigated with an argon ion laser. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Cytotoxic compounds, oleuropein (1) and a phenylethanoid glycoside (2) were isolated from the stem bark of Syringa velutina KOM. along with coniferylaldehyde 4-O-glucoside, syringin, ligstroside, (+)-syringaresinol 4-O-glucoside, (+)-medioresinol 4"-O-glucoside and (-)-olivil 4"-O-glucoside. Phenylethanoid glycoside (2) was identified to be 3,4-dihydroxyphenylethyl alcohol 8-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside. This compound showed the most potent cytotoxic effect on several tumor cell lines (P-388, L-1210, SNU-5 and HL-60) among eight compounds isolated in the present study. We suggest that the 3,4-dihydroxyphenylethoxy moiety of this compound contributes to cytotoxicity.  相似文献

Abstract

The present protocol describes a highly efficient, transition metal and solvent-free one-pot annulation of amines, dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates and β-nitrostyrene using imidazolium Brønsted acidic ionic liquid for the synthesis of tetrasubstituted pyrroles. A diverse functionalized tetrasubstituted pyrroles derivatives were obtained with excellent yields under transition metal and solvent-free conditions. The Brønsted acidic ionic liquid can be easily recovered and reused for the next reaction without any effects on the yields of the products. This green protocol provides structurally complex, medicinally important tetrasubstituted pyrroles with various substitution patterns in a one-pot operation.  相似文献

Body homeostasis is predominantly controlled by hormones secreted by endocrine organs. The central nervous system contains several important endocrine structures, including the hypothalamic-pituitary axis. Conventionally, neurohormones released by the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland (hypophysis) have received much attention owing to the unique functions of the end hormones released by their target peripheral organs (e.g., glucocorticoids released by the adrenal glands). Recent advances in mouse genetics have revealed several important metabolic functions of hypothalamic neurohormone-expressing cells, many of which are not readily explained by the action of the corresponding classical downstream hormones. Notably, the newly identified functions are better explained by the action of conventional neurotransmitters (e.g., glutamate and GABA) that constitute a neuronal circuit. In this review, we discuss the regulation of appetite and metabolism by hypothalamic neurohormone-expressing cells, with a focus on the distinct contributions of neurohormones and neurotransmitters released by these neurons.Subject terms: Hypothalamus, Homeostasis  相似文献

Chitosan, a biodegradable polysaccharide composed of primarily d -glucosamine repeating units, was adopted as a dry-base electrorheological fluid using soybean oil as a suspending medium. The electrorheological properties were examined under various applied electric field strengths. We found that natural organic polymers such as chitosan possessing amino polar groups induce electrorheological behavior, and the yield stress, τy, of chitosan increases with the electric field strength, E , according to a power-law form, τy E α, which is consistent with the conduction model.  相似文献

In this study, a flow injection analysis (FIA) system using a cartridge of immobilized isocitrate lyase (ICL) and isocitrate dehydrogenase (ICDH) was developed to monitor the concentrations of succinic acid in biotechnological processes. The ICL and ICDH immobilized on VA-Epoxy Biosynth E3-carrier had a good operational lifetime (up to 24 h) and storage stability (up to 30 days). The FIA system with the immobilized ICL/ICDH cartridge was characterized with respect to the factors affecting the activity of the immobilized enzymes, such as pH of carrier solution, temperature, sample matrix, etc. Optimal pH value of the immobilized enzymes was slightly shifted in the alkaline range, i.e. 9.0. Some components such as 10 g l−1 lactose, 3 g l−1 malate and 3 g l−1 oxaloacetate in sample solution had significant activating effects (more than 10%) on the response of the FIA system. But the activity of the immobilized ICL and ICDH was not largely influenced by some components like imidazole (1 mM), sodium azide (10 mM) and semicarbazide (2 g l−1) added to carrier buffer solution. The FIA system with an enzyme cartridge was applied to on-line monitor the concentrations of succinic acid in a continuously stirred reactor and a fermentation process of immobilized Escherichia coli, and showed good sensitivity and reliability of the FIA system developed in this work.  相似文献

A novel series of (diamine)platinum(IV) complexes of mixed carboxylates have been synthesized by electrophilic substitution of the tetrahydroxoplatinum(IV) complex (dach)Pt(OH)4 (dach = trans-(+/-)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane) with three different carboxylic anhydrides, pivalic, acetic, and trifluoroacetic anhydrides. Consecutive two-step acylations with two different carboxylic anhydrides in acetone or dichloromethane gave the mixed carboxylate complexes (dach)Pt(O2CR)x(O2CR')4 - x (R = C(CH3)3 or CF3, R' = CH3, x = 1-4) including all the possible stereoisomers, which could be separated and identified by means of HPLC, column chromatography, 1H NMR, and X-ray crystallography. From analysis of the reaction products we have found that the positions of electrophilic substitution of (dach)Pt(OH)4 were influenced by the kinds of carboxylic anhydrides exhibiting different electrophilicity or steric effects. The initial substitution by the first reactant occurs more favorably on axial OH, but in the case of pivalic anhydride, equatorial substitution is favored probably because of the bulkiness of the pivalate group. Such a result seems to be related to their stereochemical factors rather than to differences in electrophilicity. The lipophilicity of the title complexes was affected not only by the carbon numbers of substituents but also by the conformation of the resulting compound.  相似文献

An automated system employing a purge and trap technique with capillary gas chromatography and electron-capture detection (ECD) has been developed for the analysis of trace levels of volatile halogenated hydrocarbons and applied to the determination of the compounds in environmental samples such as rainwater and ambient air. The operation of the method, its application to environmental samples, and the results obtained are described. Use of the system ensured good chromatographic resolution and high accuracy, even with trace levels of the compounds.  相似文献
