Study on Osmotic Pressure and Liquid-Liquid Equilibria for Micelle, Colloid and Microemulsion Systems by Yukawa Potential

An equation of state (EOS) was established to study the osmotic pressure and liquid-liquid equilibria for micellecolloid and microemulsion systems. The Carnahan-Starling equation was used for the hard sphere repulsion. The Yukawa potential was used to describe both the attractive dispersion and the double-layer repulsion. By using the established EOS, the osmotic pressures for charged colloid, uncharged micelle, uncharged and weakly charged microemuslion, the phase equilibria for uncharged micelle and charged colloid systems were studied.

基于Cluster态和Bell态的任意三粒子态远程制备(英文)

本文提出了一个新颖的基于四粒子cluster态和Bell态制备任意三粒子远程制备方案.在发送者(Alice)对自己手中的粒子做正交完备测量,接受者(Bob)对自己手中的粒子做适当的幺正变换后,任意三粒子远程制备成功.对于Alice的两种不同的正交完备基测量的情况,分别计算了远程制备成功的概率.另外,本方案成功制备的概率在一般情况和一些特殊情况下是可以计算的.分析结果表明:在一般情况下,远程态制备可以以1/8的概率实现;但在一些特殊情况下,成功的概率可以提高到1/4、1/2,甚至1.     

Intercalation of Toluidines into α-Zirconium Hydrogenphosphate

Intercalates of o-, m-, and p-toluidine into α-Zr(HPO₄)₂ · H₂O were prepared and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis and infrared spectroscopy. As follows from IR, toludine molecules are protonated in the interlayer space. Toluidine molecules are arranged in a bimolecular way in the intercalates containing more than 1.5 toluidine molecules per Zr atom. On the other hand, a monolayer of the toluidine molecules is supposed in the intercalates with less than one toluidine molecule per Zr atom.     

Absolute Asymmetric Synthesis: The Origin, Control, and Amplification of Chirality

Biomolecular homochirality, the origin of which is still a puzzle, has challenged scientists to design chemical systems that provide chiral molecules through absolute asymmetric synthesis and to amplify a small stereochemical bias in such systems. The photoresolution of the enantiomers of helical-shaped, sterically overcrowded alkene 1 with circularly polarized light and the transduction of the stereochemical information by triggering the helical arrangement of a large collection of achiral molecules in a twisted nematic liquid crystalline phase (2) are examples of control and amplification of chirality.     

Highly efficient chiral metal cluster systems derived from Ru3(CO)12 and chiral diiminodiphosphines for the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones

The chiral Ru cluster-based catalyst systems generated in situ from Ru3(CO)12 and chiral diiminodiphosphine tetradentate ligands effected asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of propiophenone in 2-propanol, leading to 1-phenyl-1-propanol in 94% yield and with 96% ee.
