A bis‐tert‐alcohol‐functionalized crown‐6‐calix[4]arene (BACCA) was designed and prepared as a multifunctional organic promoter for nucleophilic fluorinations with CsF. By formation of a CsF/BACCA complex, BACCA could release a significantly active and selective fluoride source for SN2 fluorination reactions. The origin of the promoting effects of BACCA was studied by quantum chemical methods. The role of BACCA was revealed to be separation of the metal fluoride to a large distance (>8 Å), thereby producing an essentially “free” F?. The synergistic actions of the crown‐6‐calix[4]arene subunit (whose O atoms coordinate the counter‐cation Cs+) and the terminal tert‐alcohol OH groups (forming controlled hydrogen bonds with F?) of BACCA led to tremendous efficiency in SN2 fluorination of base‐sensitive substrates. 相似文献

ZnO–SnO2 branch–stem nanostructures were realized on a basis of a two-step process. In step 1, SnO2-stem nanowires were synthesized. In step 2, ZnO-branch nanowires were successfully grown on the SnO2-stem nanowires through a simple evaporation technique. We have pre-deposited thin Au layers on the surface of SnO2 nanowire stems and subsequently evaporated Zn powders on the nanowires. The ZnO branches, which sprouted from the SnO2 stems, had diameters in a range of 30–35 nm. As-synthesized branches were of single crystalline hexagonal ZnO structures. Since the branch tips were comprised of Au-containing nanoparticles, the Au-catalyzed vapor–liquid–solid growth mechanism was more likely to control the growth process of the ZnO branches. To test a potential use of ZnO–SnO2 branch–stem nanostructures in chemical gas sensors, their sensing performances with respect to NO2 gas were investigated, showing the promising potential in chemical gas sensors. 相似文献

Several types of chalcones containing 2H‐chromen group were synthesized. Claisen–Schmidt condensation of 2H‐chromen‐3‐carbaldehydes (I) with methoxy substituted acetophenones afforded (E)‐3‐(2H‐chromen‐3‐yl)‐1‐(methoxyphenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐ones (chromenylchalcones, 1–7). Other types of chromenylchalcone, (E)‐1‐(6‐methoxy‐2H‐chromen‐3‐yl)‐3‐(methoxyphenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐ones (8–13) were also obtained between reaction of methoxy substituted benzaldehydes and 1‐(6‐methoxy‐2H‐chromen‐3‐yl)ethanone (II). Dichromenylchalcones (14–16) were also synthesized through the same reaction between aldehydes (I) and ketone (II). Their complete 1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR assignments are reported here and more polysubstituted chromenylchalcones synthesized or isolated from the natural sources in the future can be identified on the basis of the NMR data reported here. Recent advances in liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) technology have provided an opportunity for the development of more specific approaches to achieve the ‘screen’ and ‘confirmation’ goals in a single analytical step. For this purpose, this study adapts the electrospray ionization ion trap LC/MS/MS instrumentation (LC/ESI‐MS/MS) for the screening and confirmation of over 800 drugs and toxic compounds in biological specimens. Liquid‐liquid and solid‐phase extraction protocols were coupled to LC/ESI‐MS/MS using a 1.8‐µm particle size analytical column operated at 50°C. Gradient elution of the analytes was conducted using a solvent system composed of methanol and water containing 0.1% formic acid. Positive‐ion ESI‐MS/MS spectra and retention times for each of the 800 drugs and toxic compounds were first established using 1–10 µg/mL standard solutions. This spectra and retention time information was then transferred to the library and searched by the identification algorithm for the confirmation of compounds found in test specimens – based on retention time matches and scores of fit, reverse fit, and purity resulting from the searching process. The established method was found highly effective when applied to the analyses of postmortem specimens (blood, urine, and hair) and external proficiency test samples provided by the College of American Pathology (CAP). The development of this approach has significantly improved the efficiency of our routine laboratory operation that was based on a two‐step (immunoassay and GC/MS) approach in the past. The effect of laser fluence on the crystallization of amorphous silicon irradiated by a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser is studied both theoretically and experimentally. An effective numerical model is set up to predict the melting threshold and the optimized laser fluence for the crystallization of 200-nm-thick amorphous silicon. The variation of the temperature distribution with time and the melt depth is analyzed. Besides the model, the Raman spectra of thin films treated with different fluences are measured to confirm the phase transition and to determine the optimized fluence. The calculating results accord well with those obtained from the experimental data in this research. 相似文献

The microstructure, hardness and corrosion resistance of commercially pure Ti treated by low energy high current pulsed electron beam (LEHCPEB) have been investigated. The thin near-surface melted layer rapidly solidified into β and subsequently transformed into ultrafine α′ martensite.
