Enantioselective separation and dissipation of pydiflumetofen enantiomers in grape and soil by supercritical fluid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry

Pydiflumetofen is registered in many countries and is widely used in crop production in the racemate form. However, the environmental behavior of the enantiomers has not been studied. An effective and sensitive chiral analytical method was first established for analyzing the pydiflumetofen enantiomers by supercritical fluid chromatography with tandem triple quadrupole mass spectrometry. The enantiomers could be separated and detected using the Chiralcel OD‐3 column in less than 3 min. The separation conditions were as follows: mobile phase, CO₂/methanol (80:20); flow rate, 1.0 mL/min; column temperature, 30°C, auto back‐pressure regulator pressure, 2000 psi with modified quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe sample treatment method. The average recoveries of analytes from both matrices at three spiking levels were in the range of 84.1–103.0%. The limit of quantitation for each enantiomer was 0.005 mg/kg with a baseline resolution of approximately 1.64. The method was applied to monitor the enantioselective dissipation of pydiflumetofen in grape and soil. In grapes, (?)‐pydiflumetofen was degraded more rapidly than (+)‐pydiflumetofen. In soil, (+)‐pydiflumetofen was preferentially degraded. The data provided useful references for the risk assessment and rational use of pydiflumetofen in agriculture.     

Fine-tuning the molecular energy levels by incorporating thiophene units onto the π-backbone of core-expanded naphthalene diimides

A series of core-expanded naphthalene diimides (NDI-DTYM) and thiophene-based derivatives (1a-c) were designed and synthesized to investigate the relationship between molecular structures and the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy levels but has little impact on the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy levels. The results demonstrated that increasing the number of thiophene units can gradually elevate the HOMO energy levels but had little impact on the LUMO energy levels. The n-channel organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) based on 1b and 1c have demonstrated that these almost unchanged LUMO energy levels are proper to transport electrons.     

Compounds with inhibitory activity on peristalsis from the seeds of Holarrhena antidysenterica

Eight compounds were isolated from the seeds of Holarrhena antidysenterica Wall.ex A.DC. On the basis of physico-chemical properties and spectroscopic data, holarrhenanan (1) was identified as a new compound, compounds 2–3 were isolated from H. antidysenterica for the first time, and five known compounds were also obtained. Inhibitory effects of some compounds and extracts to the intestinal peristalsis were evaluated. Results showed that the extracts and compounds 4, 6 exhibited remarkable inhibitory effects with tension inhibition rate of 32.77, 32.77% and amplitude inhibition rate of 59.51, 55.98%, respectively on the vitro rabbit intestinal peristalsis.     

Modeling of pair distribution functions for XAFS in disordered systems

A commonly used expression for modeling the XAFS of highly disordered systems is shown to generate substantial systematic errors in the coordination number in many cases of practical interest. This expression is corrected and generalized. Further, a simpler and more flexible model distribution is proposed, and the corresponding XAFS expression is derived. Comparison with experimental and simulated data show that the new expressions are useful in cases of high disorder for which the cumulant expansion loses its utility, and they explicitly account for the k-dependence of the mean free path.     

(111)择优取向ZnS薄膜的制备及特性研究

采用激光分子束外延技术在Al2O3衬底上成功外延生长了ZnS薄膜.用X射线衍射、扫描电子显微镜和光致发光谱表征了衬底温度对薄膜结构、形貌和光学特性的影响.结果表明所生长的ZnS薄膜为闪锌矿,具有(111)择优长向,随衬底温度的升高,X射线衍射峰的半高宽先减小后增大,在衬底温度为300℃时,半高宽最窄.薄膜结构致密,表面不平整度随衬底温度的升高而增大.薄膜的带隙随衬底温度的升高出现蓝移,可见光区域透射率最高达到98;,在360 nm激发波长下,观测到402 nm和468 nm两个发光带,衬底温度为300℃时,发光最强.     

钪与氧空位共掺杂锐钛矿相TiO2的形成能与电子结构的第一性原理研究

采用基于密度泛函理论的第一性原理研究了钪(Sc)、氧空位(O_V)单/共掺杂锐钛矿相TiO₂,对晶体结构、形成能以及电子结构进行了对比分析.研究结果表明,Sc-TiO₂在富氧环境下缺陷形成能为负值,富钛环境下缺陷形成能为正值,表明Sc-TiO₂只能在富氧环境下制备;O_V-TiO₂、Sc-O_V-TiO₂在富氧或富钛环境下缺陷形成能均为负值,但富氧环境下形成能更低;O_V-TiO₂的0/1-缺陷电荷转变能级为深能级,而Sc-TiO₂的0/1-缺陷电荷转变能级则属于相对较浅能级;与纯锐钛矿相TiO₂相比,Sc-TiO₂的禁带宽度略有减小,但O_V-TiO₂、Sc-O_V-TiO₂禁带宽度变宽.

Nonlinear ultrasonic nature of organic liquid and organic liquid mixture

Based on Jacobson's molecular free length theory in liquids and the relationship between ultrasonic velocity and the molecular free length in organic liquids, this paper deduces the equations for pressure coefficient and temperature coefficient of ultrasonic velocity and nonlinear acoustic parameter B/A in both of organic liquid and organic liquid binary mixtures. These nonlinear acoustic parameters are evaluated against the measured results and data from other sources. The equations reveal the connections between the nonlinear acoustic parameters and some internal structural of the medium or mixtures e.g. the sizes of molecule, several thermodynamic physical parameters and outside status e.g. condition of pressure and temperature of the liquid or liquid mixture. With the equations the nonlinear acoustic parameter B/A of organic liquid binary mixtures, which is impossible to know without the nonlinear acoustic parameter B/A of the tow components before, can be calculated based on the structural and physical parameters of organic liquid and organic liquid binary mixtures.
