A series of novel bifluorene based systems was synthesised by a convergent approach by means of a Suzuki cross-coupling between 7,7′-bis-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-[1,3,2]dioxaborolan-2-yl)-9,9,9′,9′-tetraoctyl-2,2′-bifluorene and suitable aryl-bromides. All the oligomers have been characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, FT-IR, UV-vis, PL spectroscopy and mass analyses. In particular, it has been demonstrated that the presence of strong electron donor (amines) or withdrawing (carboxylic esters) groups causes a bathochromic shift of the optical properties with respect to those of unsubstituted molecules. The effects of these functional groups on the HOMO-LUMO energy levels were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. Remarkably, the LUMO energy level of 7,7′-bis-[5′-carbodecaoxy-2,2′-bithiophen-5-yl]-9,9,9′,9′-tetraoctyl-2,2′-bifluorene (−3.07 eV) is strongly influenced by the presence of the ester functional group.  相似文献

Pectin extracted via hydrodynamic cavitation in water only from waste lemon peel and further isolated via freeze drying displays significant antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, a Gram positive pathogen which easily contaminates food. The antibacterial effect of the new IntegroPectin is largely superior to that of commercial citrus pectin, opening the way to advanced applications of a new bioproduct now obtainable in large amounts and at low cost from citrus juice industry's waste.  相似文献

The use of the same thermoplastic polymer for both the matrix and the filler in the preparation of composites is very attractive, because such composites are in principle fully recyclable. Recently it has been reported the preparation of a mono-material composite (MMC) made of polypropylene to be used in automobile parts. In this work we report on the preparation and characterization of matrices for quasi MMC made of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET). Particularly we found PET copolymers containing isophthalate (IPA) units adequate to be used as matrix.  相似文献

The title reaction has been studied in dioxane/water in a large (0.1-14.9) pS+ range, evidencing, together with an uncatalyzed process at intermediate (3.5-8.0) pS+ values, the occurrence of a catalyzed pathway both in the acidic (pS+ 0.1-3.5) and in the basic region (pS+ 8.0-14.9): specific-acid catalysis and general-base catalysis, respectively, have been found to take place by means of kinetic investigations at different buffer concentrations. Mechanisms for the three pathways have been advanced on the grounds of structural features. In a comparison with previous data particular attention has been paid to the acid-catalyzed pathway, herein observed for the first time in an azole-to-azole interconversion. The mechanistic hypotheses seem well supported by ab initio calculations.  相似文献

In present work, we have prepared gels with various compositions of methyltrimethoxysilane—3-(2,3-epoxypropoxy) propyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS-GPTMS) using a two-step acid base sol–gel process. To make a comparative study between the two common drying routes, we prepared gels under supercritical and also under ambient conditions. The density of the supercritically dried hybrid aerogels lies between 0.18 and 0.31 gcm?3, while the density of the ambient dried ones ranges between 0.35 and 0.42 gcm?3. The surface area of MTMS-0.25 GPTMS aerogel dried under supercritical conditions, has been found to be 464 m2 g?1 with a pore volume and average pore diameter of 1.24 cm3 g?1 and 11 nm respectively. The same composition dried under ambient conditions is found to have similar properties i.e. a BET surface area of 439 m2 g?1, pore volume of 1.22 cm3 g?1 and average pore diameter of 11 nm. The aerogels were later pyrolyzed yielding silica/carbon composite aerogels. The pyrolized aerogels possessed a surface area as high as 207 m2 g?1 with a total pore volume of 0.98 cm3 g?1. The pyrolysed aerogels were also calcined to yield carbon free materials.  相似文献

Summary The isomer specific determination of PCDD, PCDF and PCB was carried out on samples of air and inhalable particulate from Rome. Samples were taken daily for six months and pooled to yield two samples per month. Normal PCDD+PCDF concentrations expressed in TEQ ranged from 48 to 87 fg/m3, while total PCB ranged from 0.1 to 1.4 ng/m3. The 2, 3, 7, 8-substituted PCDD and PCDF congener pattern is shown together with the PCB congener pattern.  相似文献

The versatility of the Mukaiyama-Michael-type addition/heterocyclization of Danishefsky's diene with 1,2-diaza-1,3-butadienes was applied to the synthesis of both 4 H-1-aminopyrroles and 4,5 H-pyrazoles. Thus, the same reagents furnished different types of highly functionalized azaheterocycles essentially depending on their structure: as a matter of fact, R1 = COOR or CONR 2 differently affects the acidity of the proton at the adjacent carbon. An unexpected formation of 5 H-1-aminopyrroles from the reactions carried out in water was also observed.  相似文献

The spectroscopic properties and liquid structure of pure tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP) and FeCl3/TBP solutions have been investigated by Uv–Vis and Raman spectroscopies, X-ray diffraction and conductometry. Uv–Vis and Raman spectra, supported by conductometric measurements, consistently indicate that the solubilized salt is present mostly as TBP n [FeCl3???n ] n+ and FeCl4 ? complex ions due to specific interaction with the TBP phosphate group. Thanks to this interaction, a high amount of salt (up to 13 % w/w) can be dissolved despite the relatively low dielectric constant of TBP. The X-ray diffractogram of pure TBP has been interpreted in terms of three main contributions which can be attributed to spatial pair correlations between atoms of interacting TBP molecules. In the presence of increasing FeCl3 amounts, it has been observed a progressive structuring effect, exerted by the dissolved salt, on the layers of opportunely oriented TBP molecules due to the formation of the complex ionic species. By simple treatment with NaBH4, the synthesis of Fe nanoparticles has been achieved. The absence of water, the easiness of preparation, the high amount of salt which can be suspended and the peculiar physico-chemical properties of such systems are all elements worth of note for the fields of nanoparticle synthesis and for specialized technological applications.  相似文献

Toxic and essential metals content was determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry in commercial sea urchins samples from the Mediterranean Sea and Pacific Ocean. Results show that Chilean samples have the highest values of Cd, As, Ni, Cr and V; Spanish samples have the maximum Hg content while Sicilian samples have the lowest content of toxic metals. The toxic metal traces were compared with the limits of European Community (EC) No. 1881/2006 for bivalve molluscs. All samples exceed Pb and Cd limit levels; regarding Hg levels, only Sicilian and Sardinian samples have Hg content below the EC limits. The dietary intake of toxic and essential elements was evaluated for an adult. Furthermore, our study highlights a correlation between the toxic elements content and the marine environmental conditions of the places of origin even though only the generic FAO fishing area is specified.  相似文献
