A series of novel S-, O- and Se-containing dispirooxindole derivatives has been synthesized using 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of azomethine ylide generated from isatines and sarcosine at the double C=C bond of 5-indolidene-2-chalcogen-imidazolones (chalcogen was oxygen, sulfur or selenium). The cytotoxicity of these dispiro derivatives was evaluated in vitro using different tumor cell lines. Several molecules have demonstrated a considerable cytotoxicity against the panel and showed good selectivity towards colorectal carcinoma HCT116 p53+/+ over HCT116 p53−/− cells. In particular, good results have been obtained for LNCaP prostate cell line. The performed in silico study has revealed MDM2/p53 interaction as one of the possible targets for the synthesized molecules. However, in contrast to selectivity revealed during the cell-based evaluation and the results obtained in computational study, no significant p53 activation using a reporter construction in p53wt A549 cell line was observed in a relevant concentration range. 相似文献

Earlier the intramolecular inversion of the 18-crown-6 molecules was found in the complex ion pairs [Ln(ptfa)2 (18-crown-6)]+ [Ln(ptfa)4]− (H2O)4 where Ln = La(1), Ce (2), Pr (3), Nd (4), and ptfa is 1,1,1-trifluoro-5,5-dimethyl-2,4-hexanedione. In this work the peculiarities of the molecular structure and dynamics were studied for [Eu(ptfa)2 (18-crown-6)]+ [Eu(ptfa)4]− (H2O)4 (5) by NMR spectroscopy techniques. Through VT-NMR spectra analysis the temperature dependence was obtained for the rate constant. The free energy ΔG‡(320) of 18-crown-6 ring inversion activation was found to be 65 ± 5 kJ mol−1 for 5 in CDCl3. This result is comparable with the earlier data [S.P. Babailov and D.A. Mainichev: J. Inclusion Phenom. Macrocyclic Chem. 43, 187–193 (2002)] for complexes 2, 3, 4 in deuterated toluene (ΔG‡(320)=65 ± 9, 64 ± 9, 64 ± 9 kJ mol−1 respectively). It was found by relaxation NMR spectroscopy that the effective distance between Ln and protons of the crown molecule is 4.5 ± 0.2 Å. The analysis of structural parameters testifies that the crown ether and chelated anions are in the first coordination sphere of a Ln cation. Obtained geometrical parameters show that the complex cations of Eu, Ce and Pr have similar spatial structures.This revised version was published online in July 2005 with a corrected issue number. 相似文献
Mixing a bis‐hydrophilic, cationic miktoarm star polymer with a linear polyanion leads to the formation of unilamellar polymersomes, which consist of an interpolyelectrolyte complex (IPEC) wall sandwiched between poly(ethylene oxide) brushes. The experimental finding of this rare IPEC morphology is rationalized theoretically: the star architecture forces the assembly into a vesicular shape due to the high entropic penalty for stretching of the insoluble arms in non‐planar morphologies. The transmission electron microscopy of vitrified samples (cryogenic TEM) is compared with the samples at ambient conditions (in situ TEM), giving one of the first TEM reports on soft matter in its pristine environment.
Novel stereoisomeric natural pinane-derived bifunctional catalysts 3a–d bearing a pyrrolidine unit have been synthesized and examined in the asymmetric conjugate additions of carbonyl compounds to α-nitroalkenes. Six-membered cyclic ketones react with β-nitrostyrene derivatives in the presence of (1R,2R,3R,5R)-2-hydroxy-3-((S)-pyrrolidin-2-ylmethylamino) pinane 3b (10 mol %) with high conversion to afford with diastereoselectivity (dr (syn/anti) up to 97/3), the corresponding Michael adducts with enantiomeric purities of up to 88% ee. 相似文献
14 Single‐ and multi‐walled carbon nanotubes from different sources were characterized in detail, and the characteristics obtained were carefully analyzed. The carbon material with the highest capacitance, and also other superior properties (“Taunit‐M” from “NanoTechCenter”, Russia), was chosen for further modification and fabrication of buckypaper based electrodes. These electrodes were biomodified with plant and fungal laccases, as well as fungal bilirubin oxidase. The designed biocathodes were investigated in simple buffers and also in a complex physiological fluid (human serum). Biocathodes based on immobilized fungal laccase were bioelectrocatalytically inactive in chloride containing media at neutral pH. In spite of the quite high current densities realized using biodevices based on plant laccase and fungal bilirubin oxidase, the limited thermal stability of the enzymes renders the biocathodes inadequate for practical applications in implanted situations. 相似文献

A PdAg deposit containing ~ 25 at.% Ag is obtained by the electrochemical codeposition from an aqueous solution of Pd and Ag sulfates (Au support, 0.5 M H2SO4). The deposit is characterized by means of various physical, physicochemical, and electrochemical methods. The PdAg deposit demonstrates the ~ 2 times higher specific activity (per the electrochemically active surface area (EASA) of Pd) in the formic acid oxidation reaction (FAOR) as compared with the individual Pd deposit prepared under the same conditions. The effect of silver additions on the palladium activity depends on many factors. The corrosion stability of PdAg is studied in 0.5 M H2SO4 solution based on the overall cyclic voltammograms (CVAs) and also on anodic and cathodic half-cycles in the region E = 0.3 − 1.25 V (vs. reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE)). The electrochemical estimates are compared with the results of direct analytical determination of dissolution products in solution after anodic polarization of deposits. The total amounts of Pd dissolved substantially increase with incorporation of Ag, which is associated, first of all, with the considerable increase in the EASA; at the same time, the specific dissolution of Pd also substantially increases. The possible factors determining the active dissolution of PdAg deposits are discussed; in particular, the specific mechanism of their dissolution via silver adatoms is proposed.
Thermolysis of a 1 : 1 mixture of tris(di-tert-butylmethylsilyl)germane 9 and bis(di-tert-butylmethylsilyl)germane 17 at 100 °C produces unexpectedly octagermacubane 18 , having two 3-coordinate Ge0 atoms (40 % yield). 18 was characterized by X-ray crystallography and it is a singlet biradical (according to DFT quantum mechanical calculations and the absence of an EPR signal). Reactions of 18 with CH2Cl2 and H2O yield the novel dichloro-octagermacubane 24 and hydroxy-octagermacubane 25 , respectively. Reduction of 18 with tBuMe2SiNa in THF produces an isolable octagermacubane radical anion 26-Na . Based on X-ray crystallography, EPR spectroscopy and DFT quantum mechanical calculations, 26-Na is classified as a Ge-centered radical anion. 相似文献
