The EPR single-crystal and powder spectra of mixed crystals of (3-chloroanilinium)(8)(Cd(1-x)Cu(x)Cl(6))Cl(4) are measured as a function of temperature and x and analyzed with respect to the geometry and bonding properties of the CuCl(6) polyhedra. These undergo strong distortions due to vibronic Jahn-Teller coupling, with the resulting tetragonal elongation being superimposed by a considerable orthorhombic symmetry component induced by a host site strain acting as a compression along the crystallographic a axis. This strain becomes apparent in the cadmium compound (x = 0), whose crystal structure is also reported [a = 8.701(2) ?, b = 13.975(2) ?, c = 14.173(2) ?, alpha = 81.62(1) degrees, beta = 72.92(1) degrees, gamma = 77.57(1) degrees, triclinic P&onemacr;, Z = 1]. A calculation of the ground state potential surface and its vibronic structure nicely reproduces the g values, Cu-Cl spacings, and ligand field data. At high copper concentrations (including x = 1), the CuCl(6) polyhedra are coupled elastically, with the long axes of neighboring polyhedra having perpendicular orientations. The elastic correlation presumably is not of the long-range antiferrodistortive type, however. Above about 55 K, the angular Jahn-Teller distortion component becomes dynamically averaged within the time scale of the EPR experiment, leading to local tetragonally compressed CuCl(6) octahedra.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of [ReNCl(NPPh2C6H4)]2 · [Ph3PNH2]Cl · CH3CN, a Rhenium Organic Nitrido Phosphoraneiminato Complex The title compound is synthesized by the reaction of ReNCl4 with Me3SiNPPh3 in boiling acetonitrile, forming colourless crystals, which are characterized by an X-ray structure determination. Space group P1 , Z = 2, 4 037 observed unique reflections, R = 0.043. Lattice dimensions at 19°C: a = 1 005.5; b = 1 695.2; c = 1 744.7 pm, α = 105.86°; β = 101.49°; γ = 104.45°. The structure consists of dimeric molecules [ReNCl(NPPh2C6H4)]2, triphenylphosphorane ammoniumchloride and included acetonitrile molecules. In the nitrido phosphoraneiminato complex the rhenium atoms are μ2-bridged via the N-Atoms of the phosphoraneiminato ligands. Because of this bridging and a Re? Re bond, one terminal nitrido ligand, one terminal chloro ligand, and a Re? C bond of an -C-atom of one phenylene group of Re-atoms attain co-ordination number six.  相似文献

Bis(cyclopentadienyl)methane-bridged Dinuclear Complexes, V[1]. – Heteronuclear Co/Rh-, Co/Ir-, Rh/Ir-, and Ti/Ir Complexes with the Bis(cyclopentadienyl)methane Dianion as Bridging Ligand* The lithium and sodium salts of the [C5H5CH2C5H4]- anion, 1 and 2 , react with [Co(CO)4I], [Rh(CO)2Cl]2, and [Ir(CO)3Cl]n to give predominantly the mononuclear complexes [(C5H5-CH2C5H4)M(CO)2] ( 3, 5, 7 ) together with small amounts of the dinuclear compounds [CH2(C5H4)2][M(CO)2]2 ( 4, 6, 8 ). The 1H- and 13C-NMR spectra of 3, 5 , and 7 prove that the CH2C5H5 substituent is linked to the π-bonded ring in two isomeric forms. Metalation of 5 and 7 with nBuLi affords the lithiated derivatives 9 and 10 from which on reaction with [Co(CO)4I], [Rh(CO)2Cl]2, and [C5H5TiCl3] the heteronuclear complexes [CH2(C5H4)2][M(CO)2][M′(CO)2] ( 11–13 ) and [CH2(C5H4)2]-[Ir(CO)2][C5H5TiCl2] ( 17 ) are obtained. Photolysis of 11 and 12 leads almost quantitatively to the formation of the CO-bridged compounds [CH2(C5H4)2][M(CO)(μ-CO)M′(CO)] ( 14, 15 ). According to an X-ray crystal structure analysis the Co/Rh complex 14 is isostructural to [CH2(C5H4)2][Rh2(CO)2(μ-CO)] ( 16 ).  相似文献

The treatment of electrostatic interactions between molecular groups is based on quantum mechanical electron density distributions. A general method is suggested using tesseral harmonic multipole expansions and representing each set of point multipoles by a cluster of discrete charges small with respect to atomic dimensions. The procedure is carried out for the amino group with an electron density derived from the wave function of ammonia. We evaluate the optical rotation of two aminopyrrolidones as a test case. Expansions are compared for several approximate wave functions for ammonia.  相似文献

Rhenium Dicarbonyl‐Nitrosyl Complexes with Imidazole Different rhenium‐dicarbonyl‐nitrosyl complexes with imidazole (Im) as monodentate ligand have been synthesized and characterized, starting from [NEt4][ReCl3(CO)2(NO)] and [ReCl(μ?Cl)(CO)2(NO)]2. Whereas the complexes [ReCl2(Im)(CO)2(NO)] and [ReCl(Im)2(CO)2(NO)]+ were achieved in high yields, the complex [Re(Im)3(CO)2(NO)]2+ with three imidazole ligands could only be isolated after complete removal of all halide ions (with AgBF4) in low yield. The synthesis of a corresponding 99mTc‐dicarbonyl‐nitrosyl complex with imidazole opens a new perspective for such compounds as potential radiopharmaceuticals and alternatives to the already established 99mTc‐tricarbonyl complexes.  相似文献

The mechanism of hydrogen transfer from alcohols to ketones, catalysed by lanthanide(III) isopropoxides or zeolite Beta has been studied. For the lanthanide catalysed reactions, (S)-1-phenyl-(1-(2)H(1))ethanol and acetophenone were used as case studies to determine the reaction pathway for the hydrogen transfer. Upon complete racemisation all deuterium was present at the 1-position, indicating that the reaction exclusively takes place via a carbon-to-carbon hydrogen transfer. Zeolite Beta with different Si/Al ratios was applied in the racemisation of (S)-1-phenylethanol. In this case the racemisation does not proceed via an oxidation/reduction pathway but via elimination of the hydroxy group and its re-addition. This mechanism, however, is not characteristic for all racemisation reactions with zeolite Beta. When 4-tert-butyl cyclohexanone is reduced with this catalyst, a classical MPV reaction takes place exclusively. This demonstrates that zeolite Beta has a substrate dependent reaction pathway.  相似文献

The critical points in the model electron density distributions of LiF, NaF, NaCl, and MgO crystals, constructed from accurate X-ray diffraction data, are determined. For LiF and MgO they are compared with those obtained from a Hartree–Fock electron density calculation. Both experiment and theory show the same type of critical points on the bond lines. The topological features in areas between structural units, where the electron density is low and near-uniform, turn out to be model dependent and cannot be established well with the data available. Topological analysis of procrystals (hypothetical systems consisting of spherical atoms or ions placed on the same sites as atoms in real crystal) show that (3, –1) critical points, usually connected with bonding interaction, are observed on interatomic lines in these nonbonded systems as well.  相似文献

A series of donor-acceptor arrays (C60-oligo-PPV-exTTF; 16-20) incorporating pi-conjugated oligo(phenylenevinylene) wires (oligo-PPV) of different length between pi-extended tetrathiafulvalene (exTTF) as electron donor and C60 as electron acceptor has been prepared by multistep convergent synthetic approaches. The electronic interactions between the three electroactive species present in 16-20 were investigated by UV-visible spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry (CV). Our studies clearly show that, although the C60 units are connected to the exTTF donors through a pi-conjugated oligo-PPV framework, no significant electronic interactions are observed in the ground state. Interestingly, photoinduced electron-transfer processes over distances of up to 50 Angstroms afford highly stabilized radical ion pairs. The measured lifetimes for the photogenerated charge-separated states are in the range of hundreds of nanoseconds (approximately 500 ns) in benzonitrile, regardless of the oligomer length (i.e., from the monomer to the pentamer). A different lifetime (4.35 micros) is observed for the heptamer-containing array. This difference in lifetime has been accounted for by the loss of planarity of the oPPV moiety that increases with the wire length, as established by semi-empirical (PM3) theoretical calculations carried out with 19 and 20. The charge recombination dynamics reveal a very low attenuation factor (beta = 0.01 +/- 0.005 Angstroms(-1)). This beta value, as well as the strong electron coupling (V approximately 5.5 cm(-1)) between the donor and the acceptor units, clearly reveals a nanowire behavior for the pi-conjugated oligomer, which paves the way for applications in nanotechnology.  相似文献

Syntheses and Crystal Structures of the Phosphorane Iminato Complexes [MCl2(NPPh3)]2 with M = Al and Ga, [SbCl2(NPMe3)(DMF)]2, and of the Phosphorane Imine Complex [Ph3PNH · BF3] · THF The phosphorane iminato complexes [MCl2(NPPh3)]2 with M = Al and Ga and [SbCl2(NPMe3)(DMF)]2 are formed as colourless crystals by reactions of the anhydrous trichlorides MCl3 (M = Al, Ga, Sb) with the corresponding silylated phosphorane imines Me3SiNPR3 in acetonitrile and in dimethyl formamide, respectively. The phosphorane imine derivative [Ph3PNH · BF3] · THF is formed from Me3SiNPPh3 and boron trifluoride etherate in boiling tetrahydrofuran. The compounds are characterized by their i. r. spectra and by crystal structure analyses. [AlCl2(NPPh3)]2 : Space group P1 , Z = 1, structure solution with 1 585 observed unique reflections, R = 0.061. Lattice dimensions at ?70°C: a = 917.6, b = 1 053.5, c = 1 145.2 pm, α = 111.72°, β = 100.80°, γ = 109.95°. [GaCl2(NPPh3)]2 : Space group P1 , Z = 1, structure solution with 2 586 observed unique reflections, R = 0.066. Lattice dimensions at ?70°C: a = 917.5, b = 1 058.3, c = 1 153.7 pm, α = 105.52°, β = 107.75°, γ = 109.88°. In both compounds the metal atoms are linked to planar M2N2 four-membered rings via the N-atoms of the phosphorane iminato groups. [SbCl2(NPMe3)(DMF)]2 : Space group P21/n, Z = 4, structure solution with 3 805 observed unique reflections, R = 0.038. Lattice dimensions at ?70°C: a = 1 913.0, b = 726.8, c = 2 040.7 pm, β = 113.62°. The unit cell contains two symmetry independent dimeric molecules, in which the antimony atoms are centrosymmetricly μ2 linked via the N-atoms of the phosphorane iminato groups. Along with the oxygen atom of the dimethyl formamide molecule the Sb atoms achieve a ψ-octahedral environment. [Ph3PNH · BF3] · THF : Space group C2/c, Z = 8, structure solution with 2 048 observed unique reflections, R = 0.058. Lattice dimensions at ?70°C: a = 2 460.4, b = 869.2, c = 1 978.0 pm, β = 116.35°.  相似文献
