Rotating maximal black holes in four-dimensional de Sitter space, for which the outer event horizon coincides with the cosmological horizon, have an infinite near-horizon region described by the rotating Nariai metric. We show that the asymptotic symmetry group at the spacelike future boundary of the near-horizon region contains a Virasoro algebra with a real, positive central charge. This is evidence that quantum gravity in a rotating Nariai background is dual to a two-dimensional Euclidean conformal field theory. These results are related to the Kerr/CFT correspondence for extremal black holes, but have two key differences: one of the black hole event horizons has been traded for the cosmological horizon, and the near-horizon geometry is a fiber over dS2 rather than AdS2.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to describe a novel methodology for optimizing the stabilization of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers, through designing of proper thermal treatment. The methodology is based on a set of design rules and the procedure for implementing them, utilizing the time‐temperature‐transition (TTT) and the maximum permittable stress (max.stress) plots. The proposed approach is implemented in order to optimize the stabilization of commercial PAN fibers, resulting in a series of multistage thermal treatments. The changes of both physical and chemical structures of PAN during the progress of the multistage treatments were investigated and showed that the fibers were progressively converted into completely stabilized material; this gradual transformation permitted improvement of fiber annealing and minimized the effect of the decomposition reactions. The proposed methodology can be universally applied for achieving the global optimum of the stabilization process for any PAN precursor.  相似文献

Classical flow stability applied to transition from laminar to turbulent flow may also describe the behavior of vorticity fluctuations created by a pulsating jet placed along a solid boundary. A numerical laminar flow experiment involving a pulsating jet placed along the surface of a duct with flow separation downstream, resulted in eliminating most part of the separated flow region. Applying the same approach to a turbulent flow, it was possible to develop a turbulent stability flow formulation and apply successfully turbulent pulsating jet flow separation control. A finite-volume method has been developed for the calculation of transonic, potential flows through 3-D turbomachinery blades with complex geometries. The exact transonic potential flow equation is solved on a mesh constructed from small volume elements. A transformation is introduced through which cuboids of the physical plane are mapped into computational cubes. Two sets of overlapping volumes are used. While the thermodynamic properties are calculated at the primary volume centres, the flux balance is established on the secondary volumes. For transonic flows an artificial compressibility term (upwind density gradient) is added to density to produce the necessary directional bias in the hyperbolic region. The successive point over-relaxation Gauss-Seidel method has been used to solve the non-linear partial differential equations. Comparisons with experiments and/or other numerical solutions for various turbomachinery configurations show that the 3-D finite-volume approach is a relatively accurate, reliable and fast method for inviscid, transonic flow predictions through turbomachinery blade rows  相似文献

Software security is a very important aspect for software development organizations who wish to provide high-quality and dependable software to their consumers. A crucial part of software security is the early detection of software vulnerabilities. Vulnerability prediction is a mechanism that facilitates the identification (and, in turn, the mitigation) of vulnerabilities early enough during the software development cycle. The scientific community has recently focused a lot of attention on developing Deep Learning models using text mining techniques for predicting the existence of vulnerabilities in software components. However, there are also studies that examine whether the utilization of statically extracted software metrics can lead to adequate Vulnerability Prediction Models. In this paper, both software metrics- and text mining-based Vulnerability Prediction Models are constructed and compared. A combination of software metrics and text tokens using deep-learning models is examined as well in order to investigate if a combined model can lead to more accurate vulnerability prediction. For the purposes of the present study, a vulnerability dataset containing vulnerabilities from real-world software products is utilized and extended. The results of our analysis indicate that text mining-based models outperform software metrics-based models with respect to their F2-score, whereas enriching the text mining-based models with software metrics was not found to provide any added value to their predictive performance.  相似文献

We develop an effective field theory to describe the coupling of non-thermal quantum black holes to particles such as those of the Standard Model. The effective Lagrangian is determined by imposing that the production cross section of a non-thermal quantum black hole be given by the usual geometrical cross section. Having determined the effective Lagrangian, we estimate the contribution of a virtual hole to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, μ transition and to the electric dipole moment of the neutron. We obtain surprisingly weak bounds on the Planck mass due to a chiral suppression factor in the calculated low energy observables. The tightest bounds come from μ and the limit on the neutron electric dipole moment. These bounds are in the few TeV region.  相似文献

A selective assay for the determination of one of the most important class of phenolic compounds, namely trihydroxybenzoates (monomeric and polymeric compounds having at least one gallate moiety) based on their enhancing effect on the chemiluminogenic reaction between gold ions and luminol is described for the first time. In the presence of trihydroxybenzoate derivatives, the light emission generated when alkaline luminol is oxidized by gold ions is amplified several orders of magnitude compared to other common phenolic compounds which exhibit minor reactivity or no reactivity at all (e.g. hydroxycinnamates, flavonols, benzenediols). Based on this property, the experimental conditions were optimized in order to enable the determination of total trihydroxybenzoates in complex mixtures without resorting to separation techniques. The method was applied to samples of different composition (teas, herbal infusions and wines) with satisfactory analytical features yielding detection limits at the 10−7 mol L−1 level, intra-day precision of 3.1%, inter-day precision less than 10% and recoveries between 88.7 and 97.6%. The strengths and weaknesses of the method were identified and discussed in relation to its application in real samples.  相似文献
