The short-lived isotopes of W and their descendants have been separated from nuclear reaction products arising in the bombardment of samarium target with24Mg ions at the U-400 cyclotron of JINR-Dubna. Chemical separations were performed using previously elaborated fast and continuous ion exchange. In similar way products of235U fission, obtained at the microtron MT-25 during irradiation of235U target with photoneutrons were separated.  相似文献

A combined surface activation and “grafting to” strategy was developed to convert divinylbenzene particles into weak cation exchangers suitable for protein separation. The initial activation step was based on plasma modification with bromoform, which rendered the particles amenable to further reaction with nucleophiles by introducing Br to a surface content of 11.2 atom‐%, as determined by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Grafting of thiol‐terminated glydicyl methacrylate telomers to freshly plasma activated surfaces was accomplished without the use of added initiator, and the grafting was verified both by reduction in bromine content and the appearance of sulfur‐carbon linkages, showing that the surface grafts were covalently bonded. Following grafting the attached glydicyl methacrylate telomer tentacles were further modified by a two‐step procedure involving hydrolysis to 2,3‐hydroxypropyl groups and conversion of hydroxyl groups to carboxylate functionality by succinic anhydride. The final material was capable of baseline separating four model proteins in 3 min by gradient cation exchange chromatography in a fully aqueous eluent.  相似文献

Postfunctionalization of high‐molecular‐weight syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS) was achieved via combination of electrophilic bromination at the para‐position of the polymer aromatic ring and subsequent Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions with functionalized phenylboronic acids. The concentration of brominated styrene repeating unit in sPS was conveniently controlled by changing the ratio of added bromine relative to the polymer repeating unit. Brominated sPS (8.5 mol %) was converted quantitatively to other polar functional groups via Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions with various functional group‐substituted phenylboronic acids. A new, efficient method for synthesizing stable nanoparticles with poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) functionalities on the core surface, in which the micellization and crosslinking reactions occur in one pot, has been developed. First, amphiphilic PEO‐b‐PS copolymers were synthesized by reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) radical polymerization of styrene using (PEO)‐based trithiocarbonate as a macro‐RAFT agent. The low molecular weight PEO‐b‐PS copolymer was dissolved in isopropyl alcohol where the block copolymer self‐assembled as core‐shell micelles, and then the core‐shell interface crosslink was performed using divinylbenzene as a crosslinking agent and 2,2′‐azobisisobutyronitrile as an initiator. The design of the amphiphilic RAFT agent is critical for the successful preparation of core‐shell interface crosslinked micellar nanoparticles, because of RAFT functional groups interconnect PEO and polystyrene blocks. The PEO functionality of the nanoparticles surface was confirmed by 1H NMR and FTIR. The size and morphology of the nanoparticles was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and dynamic laser light scattering analysis. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Quantum chemical calculations at the BP86/TZVPP//BP86/SVP level are performed for the tetrylone complexes [W(CO)5‐E(PPh3)2] ( W‐1 E ) and the tetrylene complexes [W(CO)5‐NHE] ( W‐2 E ) with E=C–Pb. The bonding is analyzed using charge and energy decomposition methods. The carbone ligand C(PPh3) is bonded head‐on to the metal in W‐1 C , but the tetrylone ligands E(PPh3)2 are bonded side‐on in the heavier homologues W‐1 Si to W‐1 Pb . The W? E bond dissociation energies (BDEs) increase from the lighter to the heavier homologues ( W‐1 C : De=25.1 kcal mol?1; W‐1 Pb : De=44.6 kcal mol?1). The W(CO)5←C(PPh3)2 donation in W‐1 C comes from the σ lone‐pair orbital of C(PPh3)2, whereas the W(CO)5←E(PPh3)2 donation in the side‐on bonded complexes with E=Si–Pb arises from the π lone‐pair orbital of E(PPh3)2 (the HOMO of the free ligand). The π‐HOMO energy level rises continuously for the heavier homologues, and the hybridization has greater p character, making the heavier tetrylones stronger donors than the lighter systems, because tetrylones have two lone‐pair orbitals available for donation. Energy decomposition analysis (EDA) in conjunction with natural orbital for chemical valence (NOCV) suggests that the W? E BDE trend in W‐1 E comes from the increase in W(CO)5←E(PPh3)2 donation and from stronger electrostatic attraction, and that the E(PPh3)2 ligands are strong σ‐donors and weak π‐donors. The NHE ligands in the W‐2 E complexes are bonded end‐on for E=C, Si, and Ge, but side‐on for E=Sn and Pb. The W? E BDE trend is opposite to that of the W‐1 E complexes. The NHE ligands are strong σ‐donors and weak π‐acceptors. The observed trend arises because the hybridization of the donor orbital at atom E in W‐2 E has much greater s character than that in W‐1 E , and even increases for heavier atoms, because the tetrylenes have only one lone‐pair orbital available for donation. In addition, the W? E bonds of the heavier systems W‐2 E are strongly polarized toward atom E, so the electrostatic attraction with the tungsten atom is weak. The BDEs calculated for the W? E bonds in W‐1 E , W‐2 E and the less bulky tetrylone complexes [W(CO)5‐E(PH3)2] ( W‐3 E ) show that the effect of bulky ligands may obscure the intrinsic W? E bond strength.  相似文献

The determination of organotin compounds in water using gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS-MS) is described. Several organotin derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of organotin chlorides with Grignard reagents such as methyl-, propyl- and pentylmagnesium halides. After the optimization of the GC-MS-MS conditions, several derivatizations with the Grignard reagents were compared by evaluating the molar responses and volatilities of the derivatives and derivatization yields. As a result, the derivatizing reagent of choice is pentylmagnesium bromide. Calibration curves for the mono-, di- and tributyltins and mono-, di- and triphenyltins with pentylmagnesium bromide were linear in the range of 0.5-100 pg of Sn. The instrumental detection limits of six organotins ranged from 0.20 to 0.35 pg of Sn. The recovery tests from water samples (500 ml) were performed by using sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) as a complexing reagent. Except for monophenyltin, the absolute recoveries of organotins from pure water at 200 ng of Sn/l were satisfactory. The recoveries calibrated by surrogate compounds (perdeuterated organotin chlorides) ranged from 71 to 109%. The method detection limits ranged from 0.26 to 0.84 pg of Sn (500-ml sample). This method was applied to the recovery of organotins from river water and seawater. The calibrated recoveries were between 90 and 122%.  相似文献

The Lewis acid mediated domino "[3+3]-cyclization-homo-Michael" reaction of 1,3-bissilyl enol ethers with 1,1-diacylcyclopropanes allows an efficient one-pot synthesis of functionalized salicylates containing a halogenated side chain. A great variety of substitution patterns could be realized by variation of the starting materials and of the Lewis acid. The mechanism of the domino process was studied.  相似文献

Synthesis and Structure of Mo2NCl7 The reaction of VN with MoCl5 at 175 °C in a sealed glass ampoule yields the molybdenum(V) nitride chloride Mo2NCl7 in form of air sensitive black crystals with the triclinic space group P1¯ and a = 905.7(8); b = 975.4((6); c = 1283.4(8) pm, α = 103.13(4)°; β = 109.83(5)° und γ = 98.58(5)°. The crystal structure is built up from dinuclear units [Mo2N2Cl7]3— and [Mo2Cl7]3+, which are connected by asymmetric nitrido bridges to form endless chains. Within both dinuclear units the Mo atoms are bridged by three Cl atoms resulting in a Mo‐Mo distance of 349.2(3) pm in the unit [Mo2N2Cl7]3—. In case of [Mo2Cl7]3+, however, a shorter Mo‐Mo distance of 289.4(3) pm is observed, which can be interpreted by a single bond. Correspondingly a reduced magnetic moment of 0.95 B.M. per Mo atom is observed.  相似文献
