The structure and dynamics of a catanionic vesicle are studied by means of femtosecond up‐conversion and dynamic light scattering (DLS). The catanionic vesicle is composed of dodecyl‐trimethyl‐ammonium bromide (DTAB) and sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS). The DLS data suggest that 90 % of the vesicles have a diameter of about 400 nm, whereas the diameter of the other 10 % is about 50 nm. The dynamics in the catanionic vesicle are compared with those in pure SDS and DTAB micelles. We also study the dynamics in different regions of the micelle/vesicle by varying the excitation wavelength (λex) from 375 to 435 nm. The catanionic vesicle is found to be more heterogeneous than the SDS or DTAB micelles, and hence, the λex‐dependent variation of the solvation dynamics is more prominent in the first case. The solvation dynamics in the vesicle and the micelles display an ultraslow component (2 and 300 ps, respectively), which arises from the quasibound, confined water inside the micelle, and an ultrafast component (<0.3 ps), which is due to quasifree water at the surface/exposed region. With an increase in λex, the solvation dynamics become faster. This is manifested in a decrease in the total dynamic solvent shift and an increase in the contribution of the ultrafast component (<0.3 ps). At a long λex (435 nm), the surface (exposed region) of a micelle/vesicle is probed, where the solvation dynamics of the water molecules are faster than those in a buried location of the vesicle and the micelles. The time constant of anisotropy decay becomes longer with increasing λex, in both the catanionic vesicle and the ordinary micelles (SDS and DTAB). The slow rotational dynamics (anisotropy decay) in the polar region (at long λex) may be due to the presence of ionic head groups and counter ions.  相似文献

In this article, an eco-epidemiological system with weak Allee effect and harvesting in prey population is discussed by a system of delay differential equations. The delay parameter regarding the time lag corresponds to the predator gestation period. Mathematical features such as uniform persistence, permanence, stability, Hopf bifurcation at the interior equilibrium point of the system is analyzed and verified by numerical simulations. Bistability between different equilibrium points is properly discussed. The chaotic behaviors of the system are recognized through bifurcation diagram, Poincare section and maximum Lyapunov exponent. Our simulation results suggest that for increasing the delay parameter, the system undergoes chaotic oscillation via period doubling. We also observe a quasi-periodicity route to chaos and complex dynamics with respect to Allee parameter; such behavior can be subdued by the strength of the Allee effect and harvesting effort through period-halving bifurcation. To find out the optimal harvesting policy for the time delay model, we consider the profit earned by harvesting of both the prey populations. The effect of Allee and gestation delay on optimal harvesting policy is also discussed.  相似文献

A solvent responsive dynamic nanoscale metal‐organic framework (NMOF) [Zn( 1 a )(H2O)2] has been devised based on the self‐assembly of ZnII and asymmetric bola‐amphiphilic oligo‐(p‐phenyleneethynylene) (OPE) dicarboxylate linker 1 a having dodecyl and triethyleneglycolmonomethylether (TEG, polar) side chains. In THF solvent, NMOF showed nanovesicular morphology ( NMOF‐1 ) with surface decorated dodecyl chains. In water and methanol, NMOF exhibited inverse‐nanovesicle ( NMOF‐2 ) and nanoscroll ( NMOF‐3 ) morphology, respectively, with surface projected TEG chains. The pre‐formed NMOFs also unveiled reversible solvent responsive transformation of different morphologies. The flexible NMOF showed cyan emission and no cytotoxicity, allowing live cell imaging. Cisplatin (14.4 wt %) and doxorubicin (4.1 wt %) were encapsulated in NMOF‐1 by non‐covalent interactions and, in vitro and in vivo drug release was studied. The drug loaded NMOFs exhibited micromolar cytotoxicity.  相似文献

The total synthesis of 1-O-methyllateriflorone (2) is described. The construction of the cage-like domain of the molecule involved a biomimetic Claisen/Diels-Alder cascade, whereas the novel spiroxalactone framework was generated by an intramolecular Michael reaction within precursor 16a involving the carboxylate residue as the nucleophile. This finding might bear on the biosynthetic pathway by which nature forms lateriflorone. Described herein is also an interesting cascade sequence involving facile 6 pi electrocyclizations which leads to complex benzopyran systems. The biological evaluation of a small library of lateriflorone analogues and related systems establishing the first SAR within this class of compounds is also included. Among the most active compounds against tumor cells are 2, 16b, 56, 58, and 59.  相似文献

The Manin—Drinfeld theorem asserts the finiteness of the cuspidal divisor class group of a modular curve corresponding to a congruence subgroup. The purpose of the note is to draw attention to the connection between this theorem and Ramanujan sums, and to the question of what happens for non-congruence subgroups. A range of 2-deoxyfuranoside and -pyranoside derivatives were fashioned into derivatives that carry a vinyl or propenyl side chain. Extension of the alkene by a Suzuki cross-coupling reaction with 1-bromo-1-(phenylthio)ethene gave thioenol ethers as the cyclization substrates. The treatment of these substrates with BF(3).Et(2)O in tert-butylmethyl ether below 0 degrees C induced cyclization to optically active bicyclic ethers. If the cyclizations are carried out in toluene as the solvent, the isomerization of the terminal thioenol ether to the inner thioenol ether can take place prior to the cyclization. The cyclization reactions can be impeded by steric and electronic factors. The opening of the bicyclic ethers could be illustrated with the base-induced conversion of the ketone 53 to the cyclooctenone 54.  相似文献

Evolution of Si (1 0 0) surface under 100 keV Ar+ ion irradiation at oblique incidence has been studied. The dynamics of surface erosion by ion beam is investigated using detailed analysis of atomic force microscopy (AFM) measurements. During an early stage of sputtering, formation of almost uniformly distributed nano-dots occurs on Si surface. However, the late stage morphology is characterized by self-organization of surface into a regular ripple pattern. Existing theories of ripple formation have been invoked to provide an insight into surface rippling.  相似文献
