Rayleigh type surface wave propagation in the irregular bottom of ocean model which is the interface of homogeneous liquid layer over laying an irregular boundary of homogeneous orthotropic half space under initial stresses has been discussed in this paper. Three different dispersion equations are obtained in the form of simple equation using and not using Perturbation technique. Some special cases have been considered. The effect of irregularity, initial stressed, point source, and depth of liquid layer on the propagation of Rayleigh waves has been analyzed and results of numerical discussion have been presented graphically for three different dispersion equations. Mainly the graphs are shown the variation of phase velocity with wave number in different cases.  相似文献

This work describes the synthesis of a series of Ru(II)‐Arene (Arene=p‐cymene, benzene) complexes using different N‐substituted tetrazole ligands and their PTA analogues. All the complexes have been characterized thoroughly using different analytical techniques. Antiproliferative activity of the synthesized complexes against different cell lines indicates remarkable activity of certain complexes up to nanomolar level. In few cases introduction of water soluble PTA (PTA = 1,3,5‐ triaza‐7‐phospha‐tricyclo‐[3.3.1.1]decane) ligand induce significant cytotoxic activity in the ruthenium complex with respect to their chloro analogues, particularly against Jurkat and MCF‐7 cell lines. Interaction with different biomolecules and stability of the RAPTA complexes have been explored in pseudo‐pharmacological conditions.  相似文献

Mechanical properties including the failure behavior of physically assembled gels or physical gels are governed by their network structure. To investigate such behavior, we consider a physical gel system consisting of poly(styrene)‐poly(isoprene)‐poly(styrene)[PS‐PI‐PS] in mineral oil. In these gels, the endblock (PS) molecular weights are not significantly different, whereas, the midblock (PI) molecular weight has been varied such that we can access gels with and without midblock entanglement. Small angle X‐ray scattering data reveals that the gels are composed of collapsed PS aggregates connected by PI chains. The gelation temperature has been found to be a function of the endblock concentration. Tensile tests display stretch‐rate dependent modulus at high strain for the gels with midblock entanglement. Creep failure behavior has also been found to be influenced by the entanglement. Fracture experiments with predefined cracks show that the energy release rate scales linearly with the crack‐tip velocity for all gels considered here. In addition, increase of midblock chain length resulted in higher viscous dissipation leading to a higher energy release rate. The results provide an insight into how midblock entanglement can possibly affect the mechanical properties of physically assembled triblock copolymer gels in a midblock selective solvent. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 1 The single stranded-helicate Vanadium(IV) complex [V2O2Cl4(L)(H2O)2] (1) involving heterocyclic bis-bidentate ligand viz. 3,3/-dipyridine-2-yl-[1.1/]bi[imidazo[1,5-a]pyridineyl] (L) with biological relevance is prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. The compound lacks molecular center of symmetry where coordination environments around V(1) and V(2) centres are distorted octahedral (V···V# separation of 5.827 Å). Structure of the compound in the solid state structure shows anion?π interactions, classical and Carene-H---anion non-classical H-bonding interactions. These interactions play significant roles in shaping the extended structure of this molecule.  相似文献

Transformations of sulfane sulfur compounds (e. g. organic polysulfides (R−Sn−R, n>2) and elemental sulfur (S8)) play pivotal roles in the biochemical landscape of sulfur, and thus supports signaling activities of H2S. Although a number of previous reports illustrate amine mediated reactions of S8 and thiol (RSH) yielding R−Sn−R, this report illustrates that a tripodal [ZnII] complex [( Bn3Tren )ZnII−OH2](ClO4)2 ( 1 ) facilitates the reactions of sulfane sulfur and thiol (RSH), thereby offering an amine-free biologically relevant complementary route. UV-vis monitoring of the reactions and a set of control experiments underline the definitive role of [ZnII] coordination motif in the reactions of sulfane sulfur (e. g. S8 and R−Sn−R) with RSH. Detailed investigations (UV-vis, NMR, ESI-MS, intermediate trapping, and TEMPO radical interference experiments) disclose the key differences in the [ZnII] versus previously known amine mediated routes. Moreover, the persulfide (RSS) trapping experiments using 1-fluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene (F-DNB) reveal the intermediacy of RSS species in the [ZnII] mediated reactions of sulfane sulfur and thiol, thereby demonstrating [ZnII] assisted persulfidation of thiol in the presence of sulfane sulfur species. Of broader impact, this study underscores the feasible influence of biologically relevant [ZnII] coordination motifs (e. g. carbonic anhydrase) on the sulfane sulfur chemistry in biology.  相似文献
