The Cayley-Bacharach Property (CBP), which has been classically stated as a property of a finite set of points in an affine or projective space, is extended to arbitrary 0-dimensional affine algebras over arbitrary base fields. We present characterizations and explicit algorithms for checking the CBP directly, via the canonical module, and in combination with the property of being a locally Gorenstein ring. Synthesizing non-noble metal electrocatalysts with both high activity and high stability for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is of great significance in the fuel cell and metal-air battery industries. Herein, a facile method is explored to fabricate submicron Co9S8/CoS/C spheres by using Streptococcus thermophiles as a template. The electrocatalytic activity for the ORR with an onset and half-wave potential of 0.87 and 0.79 V, respectively, vs. RHE approaches that of commercial Pt/C catalyst. The durability and methanol tolerance are better than those of the commercial catalyst. The good performance could be attributed to the coupling effect between Co9S8/CoS and the bio-carbon substrate, as well as the robust submicron sphere morphology. Benefiting from the structural diversity of bacteria, this method can be extended to the synthesis of sulfide catalysts with other elaborate architectures. 相似文献

To build up efficient host materials, two novel organic small molecules ICz-PPI and 2ICz-PPI were designed and synthesized, in which phenanthro[9,10-d]imidazole (PI) is proposed as a potential luminophore with high stability, while the indolo[3,2,1-jk]carbazole (ICz) has a high triplet energy and excellent thermal stability. Both exhibited weak intramolecular charge transfer, high decomposition temperature (Td) and high quantum yield. ICz-PPI and 2ICz-PPI can act as the emitting layer in non-doped organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), which achieved an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 2.47 and 1.94 % with CIE coordinates of (0.153, 0.121) and (0.161, 0.102), respectively. In addition, the high triplet energy allows them to be used as hosts for phosphorescent OLEDs (PhOLEDs). Accordingly, high performance for green (62.5 cd A−1, 70.9 lm W−1, 17.8 %) and red (25.7 cd A−1, 26.9 lm W−1, 19.4 %) had been achieved from the ICz-PPI -based PhOLED. Particularly, the ICz-PPI -based red PhOLED showed surprisingly low roll-off and maintained an EQE of 14.9 % at 10 000 cd m−2. Furthermore, an ICz-PPI -based white OLED (WOLED) exhibited warm white light (CIEx,y=(0.427, 0.468)) and high efficiencies with a CEmax of 31.8cd A−1, PEmax of 37.0lm W−1 and EQEmax of 14.4 %. 相似文献

Facing the challenge of lignin valorization is one of the unsolved key steps for a sustainable and economically feasible biorefinery. Several processes were developed with the aim of producing value-added compounds from lignin. Thermal, enzymatic, and catalytic processes represent common techniques for lignin valorization. However, expensive catalysts or enzymes and harsh conditions hampered the implementation of these methodologies on an industrial scale. Here, we propose the utilization of a simple “swiss-roll” electrochemical reactor for the production of valuable carboxylic acids. We showcase that production of phenolic compounds, such as vanillin, is hindered by the electrochemical mechanism. Additionally, electrochemical stability experiments of possible products showed high reactivity of vanillin against the low reactivity of mono- and dicarboxylic acids. Simultaneously, the electrochemical process leads to stable carboxylic acids with high yields of 6.4, 26.8, and 4.2 % for oxalic, formic, and acetic acids, respectively, thus representing a competitive alternative to the catalytic and hydrothermal degradation process for the production of carboxylic acids. 相似文献

Fluorosulfonimide lithium salts have been widely used as conductors in solid polymer electrolytes for solid Li-ion batteries (LIBs). However, low conductivity and poor compatibility with the polymer host (usually polyethylene oxide, PEO) remain challenges in the design of these salts. In this paper, we synthesized a highly Li+-conductive salt containing the poly(perfluoroalkylsulfonyl)diimide (PFSDI−) dianion for the first time. LiPFSDI represents the first example of a single Li-ion-conducting polymer (SLICP) with a conjugated sulfonimide moiety (−SO2−N(−)−SO2−N(−)−SO2−). The PEO−LiPFSDI blend electrolyte exhibits significant enhancements in ionic conductivity (2.24×10−4 S cm−1 at 80 °C)and electrochemical stability (up to 6 V vs. Li+/Li). A prototype LiFePO4/Li battery with the PEO−LiPFSDI composite electrolyte shows excellent cycling performance with a high reversible capacity of 148 mAh g−1 at a rate of 0.1 C and 135 mAh g−1 at 0.2 C (70 °C), and maintains 100 stable cycles for over 1500 hours. 相似文献

Alkylation of RNA oligonucleotides by the amino alcohols 2-amino-2-hydroxymethyl-propane-1,3-diol (commonly known as Tris-base) and 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol has been observed in strongly acidic environments. The reaction occurs according to a carbocationic mechanism and is time-, temperature-, concentration- and, strictly, pH-dependent. Our results suggest that amino alcohols present in the prebiotic mix could not only alter the chemical composition of the oligonucleotides formed on dry land under hydrothermal conditions, but, more importantly, they could protect the first informational polymers from degradation. 相似文献
