π-Conjugated macrocycles involving electron-deficient boron species have received increasing attention due to their intriguing tunable optoelectronic properties. However, most of the reported B(sp2)-doped macrocycles are difficult to modify due to the synthetic challenge, which limits their further applications. Motivated by the research of non-strained hexameric bora- and aza-cyclophanes, we describe a new class of analogues MC-BN5 and MC-ABN5 that contain charge-reversed triarylborane (Ar3B) units and oligomeric triarylamines (Ar3N) in the cyclics. As predicted by DFT computations, the unique orientation of the donor–acceptor systems leads to an increased dipole moment compared with highly symmetric macrocycles (M1, M2 and M3), which was experimentally represented by a significant solvatochromic effect with large Stokes shifts up to 12 318 cm−1. Such a ring-structured design also allows the easy peripheral modification of aza-boracyclophanes with tetraphenylethenyl (TPE) groups, giving rise to a change in the luminescence mechanism from aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) in MC-BN5 to aggregation-induced emission (AIE) in MC-ABN5. The open-shell characteristics have been chemically enabled and were characterized by UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) for MC-BN5. The present study not only showed new electronic properties, but also could expand the research of B/N doped macrocycles into the future scope of supramolecular chemistry, as demonstrated in the accessible functionalization of ring systems.We have achieved the synthesis of new B/N doped macrocycles by stitching oligoarylamine pentamers using arylborane acceptor segments. Determining the different surfaces of oxide nanocrystals is key in developing structure–property relations. In many cases, only surface geometry is considered while ignoring the influence of surroundings, such as ubiquitous water on the surface. Here we apply 17O solid-state NMR spectroscopy to explore the facet differences of morphology-controlled ceria nanocrystals considering both geometry and water adsorption. Tri-coordinated oxygen ions at the 1st layer of ceria (111), (110), and (100) facets exhibit distinct 17O NMR shifts at dry surfaces while these 17O NMR parameters vary in the presence of water, indicating its non-negligible effects on the oxide surface. Thus, the interaction between water and oxide surfaces and its impact on the chemical environment should be considered in future studies, and solid-state NMR spectroscopy is a sensitive approach for obtaining such information. The work provides new insights into elucidating the surface chemistry of oxide nanomaterials.Both atomic geometry and the influence of surroundings (e.g., exogenously coordinated water) are key issues for determining the chemical environment of oxide surfaces, whereas the latter is usually ignored and should be considered in future studies. 相似文献

Two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenide nanosheets (TMDC NSs) have attracted growing interest due to their unique structure and properties. Although various methods have been developed to prepare TMDC NSs, there is still a great need for a novel strategy combining simplicity, generality, and high efficiency. In this study, we developed a novel polymer-assisted ball milling method for the efficient preparation of TMDC NSs with small sizes. The use of polymers can enhance the interaction of milling balls and TMDC materials, facilitate the exfoliation process, and prevent the exfoliated nanosheets from aggregating. The WSe2 NSs prepared by carboxymethyl cellulose sodium (CMC)-assisted ball milling have small lateral sizes (8~40 nm) with a high yield (~60%). The influence of the experimental conditions (polymer, milling time, and rotation speed) on the size and yield of the nanosheets was studied. Moreover, the present approach is also effective in producing other TMDC NSs, such as MoS2, WS2, and MoSe2. This study demonstrates that polymer-assisted ball milling is a simple, general, and effective method for the preparation of small-sized TMDC NSs. 相似文献

In this review, the three different NMR-based approaches usually used to study foodstuffs are described, reporting specific examples. The first approach starts with the food of interest that can be investigated using different complementary NMR methodologies to obtain a comprehensive picture of food composition and structure; another approach starts with the specific problem related to a given food (frauds, safety, traceability, geographical and botanical origin, farming methods, food processing, maturation and ageing, etc.) that can be addressed by choosing the most suitable NMR methodology; finally, it is possible to start from a single NMR methodology, developing a broad range of applications to tackle common food-related challenges and different aspects related to foods. 相似文献

BRAF is a serine/threonine kinase frequently mutated in human cancers. BRAFV600E mutated protein is targeted through the use of kinase inhibitors which are approved for the treatment of melanoma; however, their long-term efficacy is hampered by resistance mechanisms. The PROTAC-induced degradation of BRAFV600E has been proposed as an alternative strategy to avoid the onset of resistance. In this study, we designed a series of compounds where the BRAF kinase inhibitor encorafenib was conjugated to pomalidomide through different linkers. The synthesized compounds maintained their ability to inhibit the kinase activity of mutated BRAF with IC50 values in the 40–88 nM range. Selected compounds inhibited BRAFV600E signaling and cellular proliferation of A375 and Colo205 tumor cell lines. Compounds 10 and 11, the most active of the series, were not able to induce degradation of mutated BRAF. Docking and molecular dynamic studies, conducted in comparison with the efficient BRAF degrader P5B, suggest that a different orientation of the linker bearing the pomalidomide substructure, together with a decreased mobility of the solvent-exposed part of the conjugates, could explain this behavior. 相似文献

Brassica villosa subsp. drepanensis (Caruel) Raimondo & Mazzola, belonging to the Brassica oleracea complex, is a wild edible plant endemic to western Sicily and a relative of modern cultivated Brassica crops. In this study, the antioxidant properties, anti-inflammatory activities, enzymatic inhibition, and cytotoxicity in cancer cells of B. villosa subsp. drepanensis leaf ethanolic extract were analysed for the first time. In addition, its chemical profile was investigated partitioning the total 70% ethanol extract among ethyl acetate, n-butanol, and water to obtain three residues that were subjected to chromatographic separation. Two flavonol glycosides, a phenol glucoside, two amino acids, and purine/pyrimidine bases were obtained. The presence of the glucosinolate glucoiberin was detected in the water extract by UHPLC-MS analysis. The total polyphenol and flavonoid content of the 70% ethanol extract showed good antioxidant capacities and anti-inflammatory properties by reducing nitric oxide release and reactive oxygen species levels and increasing glutathione in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells. The extract inhibited the enzymatic activity of α-amylase, α-glucosidase, and, significantly, of lipase. The MTT assay showed that the extract did not affect the viability of normal HFF-1 and RAW 264.7 cells. Among the cancer cell lines tested, an antiproliferative action was only observed in CaCo-2. The cytotoxicity of the extract was further confirmed by LDH release assay and by the destabilization of the oxidative balance. Results confirmed the antioxidant properties of the crude extract responsible for the anti-inflammatory effect on healthy cells and cytotoxicity in cancer cells. 相似文献

Edible insects are a potential alternative food source of high feed conversion efficiency and protein content. Zophobas atratus is an edible insect that adapts to different diets, enabling sustainable rearing by adding value to by-products and agro-industrial residues. This study aimed to evaluate the performance and nutritional characterization of Zophobas atratus larvae fed with different proportions of grape residue. Physicochemical analysis of the diets and larvae (AOAC procedures), fatty acid profile (chromatographic techniques), metals and non-metals (inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry), larval mass gain, feed conversion efficiency, and mortality rate were assessed. The replacement of 25% of the conventional diet with grape residue increased lipid, ash, and fiber contents and reduced protein, carbohydrates, and energy. It promoted greater mass gain, lower mortality rate, and reduced larval growth time by 51%. Among the replacements, 25% resulted in the second-highest content of calcium, sodium, magnesium, and zinc, and the lowest content of potassium and phosphorus in the larvae. The 100% replacement resulted in the highest amounts of C18:2n6 (27.8%), C18:3n3 (2.2%), and PUFA (30.0%). Replacing 25% of the conventional diet with grape residue is equivalent to the conventional diet in many aspects and improves several larvae performance indices and nutritional values. 相似文献

Vanadomolybdates (VMos), comprised of Mo and V in high valences with O bridges, are one of the most important types of polyoxometalates (POMs), which have high activity due to their strong capabilities of gaining/losing electrons. Compared with other POMs, the preparation of VMos is difficult due to their relatively low structural stability, especially those with unclassical architectures. To overcome this shortcoming, in this study, triol ligands were applied to synthesize VMos through a beaker reaction in the presence of V2O5, Na2MoO4, and organic species in the aqueous solution. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction results indicate that two VMo clusters, Na4{V5Mo2O19[CH3C(CH2O)3]}∙13H2O and Na4{V5Mo2O19[CH3CH2C(CH2O)3]}∙13H2O, with a similar architecture, were synthesized, which were both stabilized by triol ligand and {MoO6} polyhedron. Both clusters are composed of five V ions and one Mo ion in a classical Lindqvist arrangement with an additional Mo ion, showing an unprecedented hepta-nuclear VMo structure. The counter Na+ cations assemble into one-dimensional channels, which facilitates the transport of protons and was further confirmed by proton conductivity experiments. The present results provide a new strategy to prepare and stabilize VMos, which is applicable for developing other compounds, especially those with untraditional architectures. 相似文献

Advanced chromophoric tools, besides being biologically active, need to meet the expectations of the technological demands including stability, colour retention, and proper solubility for their target. Many coordination compounds of conjugated ligands are antibacterial dyes, able to combine a strong dyeing performance with a useful biological activity. Specifically, palladium (II) complexes of Schiff base ligands are known for their relevant activity against common bacteria. In this article, we report the synthesis and comprehensive experimental and theoretical characterization of two novel Pd(II) chromophore complexes obtained from a cyclopalladated Schiff base as two different chelating azo dyes. The antibacterial response of these two novel complexes was tested against the ubiquitous Escherichia coli bacterium in an aqueous medium and revealed a noteworthy antimicrobial activity, higher than when compared with their uncoordinated biologically active ligands. 相似文献

上部开口环形液池在水平径向温度梯度作用下会出现内部温度和自由面的振荡,本文研究了二者发生的临界条件.环形液池内柱加热外壁制冷,以0.5℃/min的速率线性升温得到水平径向温差,T型热电偶测量液层内部单点温度,高精度激光位移传感器测量液层自由面某点形变.随两端温差增加,当超过某一临界温度ΔTct时,开始出现振荡.实验结果表明,对同一种硅油,两种振荡的临界条件随液层厚度具有相同的变化趋势.对不同普朗特(Prandtl)数(Pr)的硅油,振荡临界条件临界马兰哥尼数(Macr)随着邦德数(Bo)的增加而变大.本文工作是中国科学院科学先导专项SJ-10返回式科学实验卫星项目-热毛细对流表面波空间实验研究的地面研究结果,该工作为空间实验提供前期的基础科学研究数据和实验保障. 相似文献
