A simple, efficient, and general method has been developed for the synthesis of 1-substituted-1H-1,2,3,4-tetrazoles via a three-component condensation of amine, trimethyl orthoformate, and sodium azide in presence of a catalytic amount of indium triflate under solvent-free conditions. The reaction proceeds smoothly to generate the corresponding 1-substituted tetrazoles in moderate to excellent yields under heating.  相似文献

Nano-composite polymer gel electrolytes were synthesized by using polyethylene oxide (PEO), ammonium tetrafluoroborate (NH4BF4), fumed silica (SiO2), dimethylacetamide (DMA), ethylene carbonate (EC), and propylene carbonate (PC) and characterized by conductivity studies. The effect of donor number of solvent on ionic conductivity of polymer gel electrolytes has been studied. The mechanical strength of the gel electrolytes has been increased with the addition of nano-sized fumed silica along with an enhancement in conductivity. Maximum room temperature ionic conductivity of 2.63 × 10−3 and 2.92 × 10−3 S/cm has been observed for nano-composite gel electrolytes containing 0.1 and 0.5 wt% SiO2 in DMA+1 M NH4BF4+10 wt% PEO, respectively. Nano-composite polymer gel electrolytes having DMA have been found to be thermally and electrically stable over 0 to 90 °C temperature range. Also, the change in conductivity with the passage of time is very small, which may be desirable to make applicable for various smart devices.

A novel series of 4‐(4‐(1‐benzyl‐1H‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)phenyl)‐2‐substitutedthiazole derivatives ( 8a‐l) have been synthesized by [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of 4‐(4‐ethynylphenyl)‐2‐substitutedthiazole with substituted benzyl azide in aqueous DMF. Starting compounds 4‐(4‐ethynylphenyl)‐2‐substitutedthiazole ( 6a‐d ) were synthesized by reaction of 4‐(2‐substitutedthiazol‐4‐yl)benzaldehyde with Ohira‐Bestmann reagent in methanol. The structures of these novel triazole‐thiazole clubbed derivatives were confirmed by the spectral analysis. The title compounds ( 8a‐l ) were tested for antimycobacterial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Ra active and dormant (MTB, ATCC 25177) and antimicrobial activity against standard Gram‐positive bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus (NCIM 2602) and Bacillus subtilis (NCIM 2162), and Gram‐negative bacteria, Escherichia coli (NCIM 2576) and Pseudomonas flurescence (NCIM 2059). Compounds 8a , 8b , 8c , and 8h reported good activity against B subtilis, compounds 8a , 8b , and 8c showed good activity against S aureus, and compound 8b showed good activity against dormant M tuberculosis H37Rv strain. Compounds 8b and 8c found more potent against Gram positive and dormant M tuberculosis H37Rv strains. These novel triazole‐thiazole clubbed analogues found to be a capable leads for further optimization and development.  相似文献

A versatile method for the diversified synthesis of furans and arenofurans has been developed that proceeds through K2CO3‐promoted cyclization between enols/1,3‐dicarbonyl compounds and nitroolefins at reflux in EtOH. This facile method has been successfully employed in the synthesis of benzotrifuran derivatives, which are useful hole‐transporting materials. This procedure also provides direct access to dioxa[5]helicenes. This reaction offers a broad substrate scope, uses an inexpensive base and environmentally benign solvent, and is operationally simple.  相似文献

We report neutron diffraction measurements on CeNi4Mn, which has recently been identified as a soft ferromagnet with a sizeable spin-transport polarization. Our data show conclusively that the Mn atoms occupy a unique site (4c) in the unit cell, which has the symmetry of the cubic MgCu4Sn-type structure. We infer a moment of 4.6 μB on Mn at 17 K, which is oriented ferromagnetically along the {101} plane. The amplitude of the Mn vibrational motion is found to be larger than that of Ce and Ni atoms at all temperatures, thereby lending support to theoretical prediction of rattling phonon modes in this compound.  相似文献

Transient supramolecular self-assembly has evolved as a tool to create temporally programmable smart materials. Yet, so far single-component self-assembly has been mostly explored. In contrast, multicomponent self-assembly provides an opportunity to create unique nanostructures exhibiting complex functional outcomes, newer and different than individual components. Even two-component can result in multiple organizations, such as self-sorted domains or co-assembled heterostructures, can occur, thus making it highly complex to predict and reversibly modulate these microstructures. In this study, we attempted to create active bicomponent nanoparticle assemblies of orthogonally pH-responsive-group-functionalized gold and cadmium selenide nanoparticles with temporal microstructural control on their composition (self-sorted or co-assembly) in order to harvest their emergent transient photocatalytic activity by coupling to temporal changes in pH. Moving towards multicomponent systems can deliver next level control in terms of structural and functional outcomes of supramolecular systems.  相似文献

Reactions of . OH/O .? radicals, H‐atoms as well as specific oxidants such as N and Cl radicals with 4‐hydroxybenzyl alcohol (4‐HBA) in aqueous solutions have been investigated at various pH values using the pulse radiolysis technique. At pH 6.8, . OH radicals were found to react with 4‐HBA (k = 6 × 109 dm3 mol?1 s?1) mainly by contributing to the phenyl moiety and to a minor extent by H‐abstraction from the ? CH2OH group. . OH radical adduct species of 4‐HBA, i.e., . OH‐(4‐HBA) formed in the addition reaction were found to undergo dehydration to give phenoxyl radicals of 4‐HBA. Decay rate of the adduct species was found to vary with pH. At pH 6.8, decay was very much dependent on phosphate buffer ion concentrations. Formation rate of phenoxyl radicals was found to increase with phosphate buffer ion concentration and reached a plateau value of 1.6 × 105 s?1 at a concentration of 0.04 mol dm?3 of each buffering ion. It was also seen that . OH‐(4‐HBA) adduct species react with HPO ions with a rate constant of 3.7 × 107 dm3 mol?1 s?1 and there was no such reaction with H2PO ions. However, the rate of reaction of . OH‐(4‐HBA) adduct species with HPO ions decreased on adding KH2PO4 to the solution containing a fixed concentration of Na2HPO4 which indicated an equilibrium in the H+ removal from . OH‐(4‐HBA) adduct species in the presence of phosphate ions. In the acidic region, the . OH‐(4‐HBA) adduct species were found to react with H+ ions with a rate constant of 2.5 × 107 dm3 mol?1 s?1. At pH 1, in the reaction of . OH radicals with 4‐HBA (k = 8.8 × 109 dm3 mol?1 s?1), the spectrum of the transient species formed was similar to that of phenoxyl radicals formed in the reaction of Cl radicals with 4‐HBA at pH 1 (k = 2.3 × 108 dm3 mol?1 s?1) showing that . OH radicals quantitatively bring about one electron oxidation of 4‐HBA. Reaction of . OH/O .? radicals with 4‐HBA by H‐abstraction mechanism at neutral and alkaline pH values gave reducing radicals and the proportion of the same was determined by following the extent of electron transfer to methyl viologen. H‐atom abstraction is the major pathway in the reaction of O .? radicals with 4‐HBA compared to the reaction of . OH radicals with 4‐HBA. At pH 1, transient species formed in the reactions of H‐atoms with 4‐HBA (k = 2.1 × 109 dm3 mol?1 s?1) were found to transfer electrons to methyl viologen quantitatively. Analytical Investigation of Hydrodynamic Cavitation Control by Ultrasonics   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
In recent experimental work, Chatterjee and Arakeri have demonstrated that an imposed acoustic field of sufficiently high strength and frequency can suppress or control cavitation. In this paper, we analytically study the equation governing the dynamics of a single bubble in a time-varying pressure field, for parameter ranges representative of those experimental conditions. The governing equation is strongly nonlinear and intractable in general; however, for the parameter ranges of interest, we are able to nondimensionalize and scale the governing equation into a form that, though still strongly nonlinear, is amenable to analysis using the method of multiple scales (MMS) based on an arbitrarily chosen “small” parameter ∊. Removal of secular terms, a key step in the MMS, raises an interesting issue which we discuss. Second order MMS gives the slow average evolution of the bubble radius. Numerical solutions of the original equation match the MMS approximation well on time scales of (1/∊). The MMS approximation also provides insight into the roles played by relevant physical parameters in the system. Our results provide theoretical support for the abovementioned experimental results.  相似文献
