We present a cellular automaton (CA) model of particles in a single-file motion with free particle exchange at the boundaries of a one-dimensional channel connected to two infinite reservoirs in order to study the self-transmission of particles with excluded mutual passage. The parallel, local and homogeneous rule sets of the CA algorithm consider two different interactions of varying strength between particles, without any specific particle-channel interaction. CA model results suggest that one hallmark of single-file motion is the conduction bursts at a particular time scale, which have thus far only been discovered for hydrogen bond networked water translocation. The cumulative transport probabilities of particles through single-file channels of different length follow a single profile, which can be obtained through proper scaling of time. The universal features of our results suggest new experiments in single-file channel with fluids other than water. 相似文献

We have investigated electron donor-acceptor complexes of [70]fullerene with various polyaromatic molecules (PAM) with different vertical ionization potentials (I(D)(v)). Well defined charge transfer (CT) absorption bands have been located in the visible region. We extract degrees of charge transfer, oscillator and transition dipole strengths by analyzing the transition energy of the CT band as a function of I(D)(v) of the donors studied. The experimental results were explained using a theoretical model that takes into account the interaction between electronic subsystems of PAM with [70]fullerene. Trends in the formation constant for the [70]fullerene/PAM complexes were discussed in terms of enthalpies and entropies of formation. 相似文献

Intersubunit intramolecular electron transfer (IET) from FMN to heme is essential in the delivery of electrons required for O2 activation in the heme domain and the subsequent nitric oxide (NO) synthesis by NO synthase (NOS). Previous crystal structures and functional studies primarily concerned an enzyme conformation that serves as the input state for reduction of FMN by electrons from NADPH and FAD in the reductase domain. To favor formation of the output state for the subsequent IET from FMN to heme in the oxygenase domain, a novel truncated two-domain oxyFMN construct murine inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), in which only the FMN and heme domains were present, was designed and expressed. The kinetics of the IET between the FMN and heme domains in this construct was directly determined using laser flash photolysis of CO dissociation in comparative studies on partially reduced oxyFMN and single domain heme oxygenase constructs. 相似文献

This is a first quantum chemical study of corrolazine complexes. DFT calculations suggest that despite their extremely contracted central cavities, compared with porphyrins, a variety of corrolazine complexes may be expected to exist as stable compounds. The calculations also indicate that corrolazine complexes may be regarded as strongly electron-deficient analogues of corrole complexes. Thus, the calculated valence ionization potentials of P(V) and Cu(III) corrolazine derivatives are dramatically higher than those of analogous corrole derivatives. In addition, DFT calculations on Fe(IV) and Mn(IV) corrole and corrolazine derivatives suggest that compared with the often noninnocent corrole ligands, corrolazines are electronically more innocent and stabilize "purer" high-valent states of transition metal ions. 相似文献

A tetraphenyl porphyrin derivative with two C16 alkyl chains covalently bound to each of the four peripheral phenyl rings through ether linkages formed multilayer clusters or vesicles at the air–water surface. More interestingly, spherical vesicles were also formed when deposited on appropriate solid surfaces, and these vesicles were stable even in dry conditions. Various microscopic images of the cast film deposited on a mica surface confirmed closed‐ended nanotube/nanorod‐type formation with necking and bulging. These narrow tubes are proposed to be intermediates for the formation of vesicles by fission at either side of the bulge. Such vesicular formation is not common when either cast or Langmuir–Blodgett films were deposited on a solid surface. 相似文献

Besides three known biphenyldibenzodioxinbisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloids, two novel alkaloids of the same group have been isolated from the fruits of Tiliacora racemosa. The structures of these new compounds designated tiliaimine and nordinklacorine were established on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy, including COSY, TOCSY, ROESY, HMBC and HSQC experiments. Preliminary antibacterial activity studies on the known compounds (tiliarine, 2′‐nortiliacorinine, 2′‐nortiliacorine) from the fruits of the plant showed strong activity against three bacterial strains viz. Escherichia coli strain VT3 (Verotoxigenic E.coli), Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6623 but were inactive against the strains Vibrio cholerae O1 (NB2) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15442. The 3-aminocarbazoles 1a-e were condensed with phenyl and benzyl isothiocyanates on montmorillonite K10 clay or TLC-grade silica gel at room temperature to furnish efficiently the N-phenyl and N-benzylthioureidocarbazoles, 2a-e and 2f, respectively, within minutes. When adsorbed on montmorillonite K10 clay impregnated with para-toluene sulfonic acid (1:1, w/w) and heated at 60-70 °C, 2a-e and 2f furnished the 2-anilino and 2-benzylaminothiazolo[4,5-c]carbazoles, 3a-e and 3f, respectively, regioselectively in high yields. The construction of a new series of dendritic tris(crown ether) hexagons via coordination-driven self-assembly is described. Combining 120° crown ether-containing diplatinum(II) acceptors with 120° dendritic dipyridyl donors in a 1:1 ratio allows for the formation of a new family of dendritic triple crown ether derivatives with a hexagonal cavity in quantitative yields. The number and the position of these pendant groups can be precisely controlled on the hexagonal metallacycle. The structures of all dendritic multiple crown ether hexgaons are confirmed by multinuclear NMR ((1)H and (31)P), ESI-MS and ESI-TOF-MS, and elemental analysis. The complexation of these dendritic trivalent receptors with dibenzylammonium cations was investigated by (1)H NMR titration experiments. The thermodynamic binding constants between the receptors and guests were established by using the nonlinear least-squares fit method based on (1)H NMR titration experiments. It was found that the association constants of each assembly decrease correspondingly upon the increase of the generation of the dendrons from [G0] to [G3], which might be caused by the steric effect of the dendrons on host-guest complexation. 相似文献
