A flow injection system was developed for the sequential determination of total nitrogen and phosphorus in digests of vegetables
using potentiometric and spectrophotometric detection systems, respectively. A tubular ammonium selective electrode with a
sensor system composed of nonactin/monactin in tris(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate was used. The selectivity limitations of this
electrode were overcome by the inclusion of a gas-diffusion unit in the system that separated ammonium from the rest of the
sample matrix and allowed the determination of total nitrogen and phosphorus by the partition of the sample plug between two
streams.
The results obtained with the developed FIA system were in good agreement with those of the reference methods. Sampling rates
from 40 to 60 samples per hour and relative standard deviations below 3.5% were achieved.

Immunoaffinity techniques have been widely used for the determination of different analytes in the medical field. However

is only recent. The production of antibodies, election of supports, antibody immobilization procedures, elution of analytes
from immunosorbents and the more recent applications in the field of pesticide analysis are reviewed. The present review concludes
that immunosorbents have great potential and discusses the present limitations and expected future trends.

The decomposition of two neutral binuclear nitrosyl iron complexes (NICs) of the µ-S structural type and general composition [Fe2(SR)2(NO)4]0 was studied in comparison. The exchange reaction of the thiophenol or 2-aminothiophenol thiolate ligand by glutathione (GSH) in neutral NICs was studied. The reaction system was analyzed by spectrophotometry to prove the presence of a new NICs with the GS– ligand in it. It was found that, unlike the earlier studied binuclear cationic NICs of the µ-S type and general composition [Fe2(µ-SR)2(NO)4]2+SO4?nH2O with cysteamine and penicillamine ligands in which both thiolate ligands exchange by GS–, in these neutral complexes both thiolate ligands are de-tached by only one GSH ligand is attached. A water molecule is inserted into the second free site. It is assumed that the antitumor activity of the neutral NICs can be determined not only by their NO-donor activity but also by their ability to exchange the thiolate ligand by GS–, i.e., "to remove" GSH from the medium as in the case of cationic NICs. The discovered reaction can prevent, most likely, the S-glutathionylation of important metabolites in the presence of GSH and is very significant for metabolism of NICs. 相似文献

Possible reactions of the mononuclear iron nitrosyl complex [Fe(SC(NH2)2)2(NO)2]Сl?H2O in an aqueous solution were studied using quantum chemical modeling. The electronic structures of the possible intermediates were examined by the NBO and AIM methods. In this paper, we report a teaching experiment regarding the theory of polynomial approximations at the university mathematics teaching in Sweden. The experiment was designed by applying Variation theory and by using the free dynamic mathematics software GeoGebra. The aim of this study was to investigate if the technology-assisted teaching of Taylor polynomials compared with traditional way of work at the university level can support the teaching and learning of mathematical concepts and ideas. An engineering student group (n = 19) was taught Taylor polynomials with the assistance of GeoGebra while a control group (n = 18) was taught in a traditional way. The data were gathered by video recording of the lectures, by doing a post-test concerning Taylor polynomials in both groups and by giving one question regarding Taylor polynomials at the final exam for the course in Real Analysis in one variable. In the analysis of the lectures, we found Variation theory combined with GeoGebra to be a potentially powerful tool for revealing some critical aspects of Taylor Polynomials. Furthermore, the research results indicated that applying Variation theory, when planning the technology-assisted teaching, supported and enriched students’ learning opportunities in the study group compared with the control group. 相似文献
