Using time-resolved chemically induced dynamic nuclear polarization (CIDNP) techniques, we have studied the mechanism of the photoreactions of triplet excited 4-carboxybenzophenone (CBP) with l-methionine (Met) and 3-(methylthio)propylamine (MTPA) in aqueous solution and the details of the formation of CIDNP at pH from 6.7 to 13.6. At a pH below the pKa of the nitrogen atom of Met, the CIDNP is strongly affected by degenerate electron exchange between the S-S cationic radical dimer and the zwitterionic form of Met with the rate constant kex = 3.4 x 10(8) s(-1) providing an exhaustive explanation of the pH dependence of steady-state CIDNP that was previously interpreted as a manifestation of fast interconversion among three different methionine radical species (Goez, M.; Rozwadowski, J. J. Phys. Chem. A 1998, 102, 7945-7953). By analyzing the polarization of different protons formed in geminate recombination as a function of the pH, we obtained the branching ratio between two reaction pathways for oxidative quenching of (T)CBP via electron transfer from the sulfur and nitrogen atoms of Met and MTPA. Nuclear spin-lattice relaxation times were determined in the dimeric cation radical of Met (T1,S = 8.5 micros). In the cyclic radical cation of MTPA with a three-electron two-center S-N bond, the estimated paramagnetic relaxation is comparatively slow for all protons. Fast deprotonation of the primary aminium radical cation of MTPA and Met in strongly basic solution takes place on the submicrosecond time scale leading to efficient formation of CIDNP in the neutral aminyl radical.  相似文献

The reaction of 5,7‐diphenyl‐4,7‐dihydro‐1,2,4‐triazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine ( 1 ) with α,β‐unsaturated carbonyl compounds 2a‐f led to the formation of the alkylated heterocycles 3a‐f (Figure 1). However, the reaction of 5‐methyl‐7‐phenyl‐4,7‐dihydro‐1,2,4‐triazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine ( 5 ) with 2a‐c yielded under the same conditions the triazolo[5,1‐b]quinazolines 6a‐c (Figure 3). In this case, the alkylation is followed by a cyclocondensation. The structure elucidation of the products is based on ir, ms, 1H and 13C nmr measurements and on an X‐ray diffraction study.  相似文献

The parallel solution-phase synthesis of a series of building blocks and combinatorial libraries based on natural bispidine scaffold has been accomplished. Key reactions include catalytic hydrogenation of the (-)-cytisine heterocyclic system, followed by alkali-mediated ring cleavage. Using this approach, a series of new bispidine core building blocks for combinatorial synthesis with three points of diversity were effectively synthesized. The libraries from libraries were then obtained in good yields and purities using solution-phase acylation reactions. Obtained combinatorial libraries of 3,4,7-trisubstituted bispidines are potentially useful in the discovery of novel physiologically active compounds.  相似文献

Earlier the intramolecular inversion of the 18-crown-6 molecules was found in the complex ion pairs [Ln(ptfa)2 (18-crown-6)]+ [Ln(ptfa)4] (H2O)4 where Ln = La(1), Ce (2), Pr (3), Nd (4), and ptfa is 1,1,1-trifluoro-5,5-dimethyl-2,4-hexanedione. In this work the peculiarities of the molecular structure and dynamics were studied for [Eu(ptfa)2 (18-crown-6)]+ [Eu(ptfa)4] (H2O)4 (5) by NMR spectroscopy techniques. Through VT-NMR spectra analysis the temperature dependence was obtained for the rate constant. The free energy ΔG(320) of 18-crown-6 ring inversion activation was found to be 65 ± 5 kJ mol−1 for 5 in CDCl3. This result is comparable with the earlier data [S.P. Babailov and D.A. Mainichev: J. Inclusion Phenom. Macrocyclic Chem. 43, 187–193 (2002)] for complexes 2, 3, 4 in deuterated toluene (ΔG(320)=65 ± 9, 64 ± 9, 64 ± 9 kJ mol−1 respectively). It was found by relaxation NMR spectroscopy that the effective distance between Ln and protons of the crown molecule is 4.5 ± 0.2 Å. The analysis of structural parameters testifies that the crown ether and chelated anions are in the first coordination sphere of a Ln cation. Obtained geometrical parameters show that the complex cations of Eu, Ce and Pr have similar spatial structures.This revised version was published online in July 2005 with a corrected issue number.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Ge(C8H14NO)2Cl]CF3SO3, which is the first complex containing an eight‐membered lactam (enantho­lactam) as ligand, the coordination polyhedron of the GeIV atom is inter­mediate between trigonal–bipyramidal and square‐pyramidal. Quantum chemical calculations of the crystal structure indicate the absence of additional coordination bonding between the GeIV atom and the trifluoro­methane­sulfonate anion.  相似文献

Herein we report a new preparation of 4-hydroxy-2,5-dimethyl-2,3-dihydrofuran-3-one, the flavor compound strawberry furanone, based on a ‘green’ approach with a minimum number of steps. The first step is an enzymatic dioxygenation of p-xylene to form cyclohexadiene-cis-diol, followed by ring opening via ozonolysis, and ring closure to form the furanone. In efforts to improve the efficiency of the enzymatic step, a directed evolution approach was taken to increase the substrate specificity and selectivity of the toluene dioxygenase enzyme system.  相似文献

Spectroscopy and predissociation dynamics of (H2O)2 and Ar-H2O are investigated with vibrationally mediated dissociation (VMD) techniques, wherein upsilon(OH) = 2 overtones of the complexes are selectively prepared with direct infrared pumping, followed by 193 nm photolysis of the excited H2O molecules. As a function of relative laser timing, the photolysis breaks H2O into OH and H fragments either (i) directly inside the complex or (ii) after the complex undergoes vibrational predissociation, with the nascent quantum state distribution of the OH photofragment probed via laser-induced fluorescence. This capability provides the first rotationally resolved spectroscopic analysis of (H2O)2 in the first overtone region and vibrational predissociation dynamics of water dimer and Ar-water clusters. The sensitivity of the VMD approach permits several upsilon(OH) = 2 overtone bands to be observed, the spectroscopic assignment of which is discussed in the context of recent anharmonic theoretical calculations.  相似文献

The relationship of the microstructure of supercooled, highly viscous glycerol to the temperature dependence of its density, thermal expansion coefficient, and shear viscosity are discussed. The character of this temperature dependence at the transition from low viscosity state to the solid amorphous state (solidified state without nuclei) is described with help of function psi, which can be interpreted as the effective number of degrees of freedom responsible for the change of viscosity of glycerol over a broad range; these degrees of freedom are those related to the alpha-relaxation process. It is shown that the change in effective activation energy of the viscosity is completely determined by the parameter psi. The change in the shear viscosity of glycerol due to the influence of the solid-phase nuclei is considered. It is shown that the introduction of the parameter phi, equal to the specific volume occupied by the nuclei of the solid phase, together with psi provides a natural explanation of the temperature dependence of density and thermal expansion coefficients of glycerol in its liquid, solid amorphous, glassy, and crystal states. The peculiarities of the temperature dependence of phi(T) and psi(T) for glycerol and o-terphenyl are compared.  相似文献

In the title compound, (C10H9NOS6)K[Hg(SCN)4] or (EDT–TTF–CONHMe)K[Hg(SCN)4)], fully oxidized organic (EDT–TTF–CONHMe) radical cations form quasi‐one‐dimensional stacks running along the monoclinic 21 axis and alternating along the crystallographic [101] direction with inorganic anion stacks made from mixed K+–[Hg(SCN)4]2− ribbons. For each anion, three essentially collinear SCN ligands inter­act with the K+ ions via short N⋯K contacts, while the terminal N atom of the fourth SCN group is engaged in a number of hydrogen‐bond contacts with the –CH, –NH and –CH2 hydrogen‐bond donors of the amide function. Radical cations are dimerized along the stacks and the crystal conductivity is activated.  相似文献

Two novel heterometallic octahedral clusters [Rh(4)Pt(2)(CO)(11)(dppm)(2)](1) and [Ru(2)Rh(2)Pt(2)(CO)(12)(dppm)(2)](2) were synthesized by the reaction of [Rh(2)Pt(2)(CO)(6)(dppm)(2)] with [Rh(6)(CO)(14)(NCMe)(2)] and Ru(3)(CO)(12), respectively. Solid state structures of 1 and 2 have been established by a single crystal X-ray diffraction study. Two dppm ligands in 1 are bonded to one platinum and three rhodium atoms, which form an equatorial plane of the Rh(4)Pt(2) octahedron. Two rhodium and two platinum atoms bound to the diphosphine ligands in 2 are nonplanar to give an octahedral C2 symmetric Ru(2)Rh(2)Pt(2)(dppm)2 framework. The (31)P NMR investigation of and (1D, (31)P COSY, (31)P-[(103)Rh] HMQC) and simulation of 1D spectral patterns showed that in both clusters the structures of the M(6)(PP)(2) fragments found in the solid state are maintained in solution.  相似文献
