The coupled-column (LC-LC) configuration consisting of a 3 microm C18 column (50 x 4.6 mm I.D.) as the first column and a 5 microm C18 semi-permeable-surface (SPS) column (150 x 4.6 mm I.D.) as the second column appeared to be successful for the screening of acidic pesticides in surface water samples. In comparison to LC-LC employing two C18 columns, the combination of C18/SPS-C18 significantly decreased the baseline deviation caused by the hump of the co-extracted humic substances when using UV detection (217 nm). The developed LC-LC procedure allowed the simultaneous determination of the target analytes bentazone and bromoxynil in uncleaned extracts of surface water samples to a level of 0.05 microg/l in less than 15 min. In combination with a simple solid-phase extraction step (200 ml of water on a 500 mg C18-bonded silica) the analytical procedure provides a high sample throughput. During a period of about five months more than 200 ditch-water samples originating from agricultural locations were analyzed with the developed procedure. Validation of the method was performed by randomly analyzing recoveries of water samples spiked at levels of 0.1 microg/l (n=10), 0.5 microg/l (n=7) and 2.5 microg/l (n=4). Weighted regression of the recovery data showed that the method provides overall recoveries of 95 and 100% for bentazone and bromoxynil, respectively, with corresponding intra-laboratory reproducibilities of 10 and 11%, respectively. Confirmation of the analytes in part of the samples extracts was carried out with GC-negative ion chemical ionization MS involving a derivatization step with bis(trifluoromethyl)benzyl bromide. On the 1H NMR timescale, 2,2′‐biindolyls with (R)‐configured (1‐alkoxyprop)‐2‐yl, (1‐hydroxyprop)‐2‐yl, or (1‐siloxyprop)‐2‐yl substituents at C‐1 and C‐1′ are atropisomerically stable at <0 °C and interconvert at >30 °C. A 2,2′‐biindolyl (R,R)‐ 17 a of that kind and achiral (!) brominating reagents gave the atropisomerically stable 3,3′‐dibromobiindolyls (M)‐ and/or (P)‐ 18 a at best atropselectively—because of point‐to‐axial asymmetric inductions—and atropdivergently, exhibiting up to 95 % (M)‐ and as much (P)‐atropselectivity. This route to atropisomerically pure biaryls is novel and should extend to other substrates and/or different functionalizations. The dibromobiindolyls (M)‐ and (P)‐ 18 a furnished the biindolyldiphosphanes (M)‐ and (P)‐ 14 without atropisomerization. These syntheses did not require the resolution of a racemic mixture, which distinguishes them from virtually all biaryldiphosphane syntheses known to date. (M)‐ and (P)‐ 14 acted as ligands in catalytic asymmetric allylations and hydrogenations. Remarkably, the β‐ketoester rac‐ 25 c was hydrogenated trans‐selectively with 98 % ee; this included a dynamic kinetic resolution.  相似文献

Summary Thin, amorphous silicon nitride (a-SINx) films were deposited on n-type (100) silicon substrates using an argon ion beam for sputtering a HPSN block under high vacuum conditions. The substrates were kept at room temperature. Nitrogen depth distributions were determined by NRA using the resonance reaction 15N(p,)12C at 429 keV. Hydrogen profiles were analysed by NRA (1H(15N,)12C at Eo=6.385 MeV) and by ERDA (20Ne2+, Eo=10 MeV). The NRA was used to determine the depth distributions (concentration vs. areal density) of nitrogen and hydrogen taking calibration standards into consideration. The silicon depth distributions and the N/Si ratios of the deposited a-SiNx films were determined by RBS (4He+, Eo=2.0 MeV). Film thicknesses were obtained by SEM. The density of the deposited a-SiNx films was found to be =2.7 (±0.1) g/cm3 by correlating RBS data and real film thicknesses as obtained by SEM.  相似文献

Sulfate-selective electrodes can be fabricated from commercial platinum electrodes by coating them with a mixture of Aliquat-336 and trifluoroacetyl-p-butylbenzene in polyvinyl chloride matrix. Adding a solid, sparingly soluble sulfate such as that of strontium, lead, barium, or 2-aminoperimidine (2-AP) improves the selectivity for sulfate relative to nitrate. The 2-AP electrode shows the best physical stability and is described in detail. The order ofanion interference is ClO4->Cl->NO3->H2PO4->F-. The useful pH range is 4–9. The response is Nernstian from 10-5 to 10-1 M in sodium sulfate solutions.  相似文献

Sulfur(IV) Compounds as Ligands. II. The Crystal and Molecular Structure of Pentacarbonyl--(sulfur dioxide)chromium The structure of pentacarbonyl(sulfurdioxide)chromium ( 1 ) has been determined from single crystal X-ray data. The compound crystallizes with eight formula units in the rhombic unit cell (space group Pbn21) of the dimensions a = 657.8(2) pm, b = 1245.2(4) pm, c = 2177.4(5) pm (at 180 K). The sulfur dioxide is η1-coplanar coordinated, the Cr? S distance is 219 pm, the shortest bond reported so far between chromium(0) and sulfur. The Cr? C(ax) bond (189 pm) was found only marginally shorter than the Cr? C(eq) bonds (190 pm) providing proof of the high π-acceptor capacity of SO2.  相似文献

A method is described for determining 10-5–10-4M fluoride in a variety of solutions potentiometrically with a fluoridc-specific electrode, by a standard addition method. Any change of ionic strength or the nature of the solution that might alter activity coefficients or junction potentials is minimized. The relationship between potential and fluoride concentration thus follows the Nernst equation, and the unknown concentration can be calculated. Experimental data are given for solutions of sodium choride, sodium nitrate, acidified sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide, lithium chloride, and phosphoric acid. Metal ions (e.g., Al3+, UO22+, Fe3+, Th4+) that interfere by forming complexes with fluoride can be precomplexed with phosphoric acid. The relative error is estimated at 10%, and the relative standard deviation is less than 5% over the concentration range 10-5–10-4M fluoride.  相似文献
