Multiconfigurational high‐level electronic structure calculations show that the ${{\rm Al}{{- \hfill \atop 3\hfill}}}$ ring‐like cluster anion has three close low‐lying electronic states of different spin, all of them having strong multiconfigurational character. The aromaticity of the cluster has, therefore, been studied by means of total electron delocalization and normalized multicenter electron delocalization indices evaluated from the multiconfigurational wave functions of each state. The lowest‐lying singlet and triplet states are found to be highly aromatic, whereas the next lowest‐lying state, the quintet state, has much less, though non‐negligible, aromatic character.  相似文献

We report a dopamine electrochemical sensor based on the modification of glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) with polylysine‐functionalized single‐wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNT‐PLys). The resulting electrodes (GCE/SWCNT‐PLys) showed a significant improvement in the electrooxidation of dopamine with drastic decrease in the peak potentials separation and important enhancement in the associated currents. Dopamine was detected by differential pulse voltammetry‐adsorptive stripping with medium exchange at nanomolar levels even in the presence of high excess of ascorbic and uric acids. The sensor was successfully used for the quantification of dopamine in urine samples enriched with the neurotransmitter.  相似文献

A Bi2S3/graphene oxide (GO) composite enwrapped by a poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) coating was prepared for the first time for use as an anode in Li‐ion batteries. Pristine Bi2S3 nanoflowers and composites of Bi2S3/GO and Bi2S3/GO/PEDOT were assembled into half cells with Li metal as the counter electrode, and initial discharge capacities of 833, 1020, and 1300 mAh g?1, respectively, were obtained. Composites of Bi2S3/GO/PEDOT and Bi2S3/GO showed superior cycling stability and better rate capability than pristine Bi2S3. GO provides highly conducting interconnections, which allow facile propagation of electrons during charge/discharge, and this improves the ion‐uptake capability of the Bi2S3 nanoflowers and also increases the rate capability. PEDOT furnishes a protective coating that prevents detachment of the material from the current collector during cycling, and it also imparts better cycling stability to the Bi2S3/GO/PEDOT composite.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the antimicrobial property of the compounds present in the lichen Usnea albopunctata. Ethyl acetate extract of the lichen was purified by column chromatography to yield a major compound which was characterised by spectroscopic methods as protocetraric acid. In this study, protocetraric acid recorded significant broad spectrum antimicrobial property against medically important human pathogenic microbes. The prominent antibacterial activity was recorded against Salmonella typhi (0.5 μg/mL). Significant antifungal activity was recorded against Trichophyton rubrum (1 μg/mL), which is significantly better that the standard antifungal agent. Protocetraric acid is reported here for the first time from U. albopunctata. Thus the results of this study suggest that protocetraric acid has significant antimicrobial activities and has a strong potential to be developed as an antimicrobial drug against pathogenic microbes.  相似文献

We describe the reactivity of two linkage isomers of a boryl-phosphaethynolate, [B]OCP and [B]PCO (where [B]=N,N’-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-1,3,2-diazaboryl), towards tris- (pentafluorophenyl)borane (BCF). These reactions afforded three constitutional isomers all of which contain a phosphaalkene core. [B]OCP reacts with BCF through a 1,2 carboboration reaction to afford a novel phosphaalkene, E-[B]O{(C6F5)2B}C=P(C6F5), which subsequently undergoes a rearrangement process involving migration of both the boryloxy and pentafluorophenyl substituents to afford Z-{(C6F5)2B}(C6F5)C=PO[B]. By contrast, [B]PCO undergoes a 1,3-carboboration process accompanied by migration of the N,N’-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-1,3,2-diazaboryl to the carbon centre.  相似文献

This study is an attempt to ascertain if singers from different traditions and milieus follow similar aesthetic trends regardless of training and/or background. Cantors who sang the Jewish synagogue liturgy during the Golden Age of cantorial singing prior to World War II came from Eastern and Central Europe. For the most part, they were not trained in the classical Western opera tradition. They received training from choir leaders and other cantors and the training was primarily in the modes of synagogue chant. Cantors today receive the same kinds of training that opera singers receive, often from the same teachers. Four groups of singers, consisting of four singers in each group, were utilized in this study. The four groups are: historical opera singers, contemporary opera singers, historical cantors, and contemporary cantors. The historical opera singer recordings date from as early as 1909 to as late as 1939. It was not possible to determine the dates of the historical cantor recordings. However, the four cantors chosen for this group were active only to the 1940s. Contemporary samples were taken from CDs and/or live recordings and all the singers from the contemporary groups are either still active or were active in the 1960s through the 1980s and all of them are considered to be premier-level singers in their respective areas. The variables analyzed were: vibrato pulse rate, frequency variation of the vibrato pulse above and below the mean sustained sung frequency in percent, the mean amplitude variation of the amplitude vibrato pulse above and below the mean sustained amplitude in percent and the fast Fourier transform (FFT) power spectrum of the sustained samples. Results indicate that most of the significant differences were found between eras and not between groups within a time period.  相似文献

Indium (III) phthalocyanine (InPc) was encapsulated into nanoparticles of PEGylated poly(d,l-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA-PEG) to improve the photobiological activity of the photosensitizer. The efficacy of nanoparticles loaded with InPc and their cellular uptake was investigated with MCF-7 breast tumor cells, and compared with the free InPc. The influence of photosensitizer (PS) concentration (1.8–7.5 μmol/L), incubation time (1–2 h), and laser power (10–100 mW) were studied on the photodynamic effect caused by the encapsulated and the free InPc. Nanoparticles with a size distribution ranging from 61 to 243 nm and with InPc entrapment efficiency of 72 ± 6 % were used in the experiments. Only the photodynamic effect of encapsulated InPc was dependent on PS concentration and laser power. The InPc-loaded nanoparticles were more efficient in reducing MCF-7 cell viability than the free PS. For a light dose of 7.5 J/cm2 and laser power of 100 mW, the effectiveness of encapsulated InPc to reduce the viability was 34 ± 3 % while for free InPc was 60 ± 7 %. Confocal microscopy showed that InPc-loaded nanoparticles, as well as free InPc, were found throughout the cytosol. However, the nanoparticle aggregates and the aggregates of free PS were found in the cell periphery and outside of the cell. The nanoparticles aggregates were generated due to the particles concentration used in the experiment because of the small loading of the InPc while the low solubility of InPc caused the formation of aggregates of free PS in the culture medium. The participation of singlet oxygen in the photocytotoxic effect of InPc-loaded nanoparticles was corroborated by electron paramagnetic resonance experiments, and the encapsulation of photosensitizers reduced the photobleaching of InPc.  相似文献

A microscopic model is developed in order to analyse the effects of dissipations on single-photon transport in a coupled cavity array where one of the cavities is coupled to a three-level atom and both cavities and the three-level atom are coupled to an external environment. By employing the quasi-boson approach, the single-photon transmission and reflection amplitudes are found exactly for the Ξ-type, V-type and Λ-type three-level atoms. We focus on the dissipation properties in the case of the Λ-type system. Comparing the dissipative case with the nodissipative one, it can be found that the dissipations of the cavities and the Λ-type three-level atom significantly affect the transmission amplitude of single-photon transport. Whether the atom is in tune with the resonant frequency of the cavity or not, incomplete reflection is mostly caused by atom dissipation near the middle dip of the single-photon transport spectrum, while reduced transmission appears to be mainly controlled by cavity dissipation. Dissipations broaden the line width of the single photon transport spectrum.  相似文献
