An analysis of data of target fragments of 28Si-AgBr (at 14.5 AGeV) reveals the existence of emission asymmetry in the azimuthal plane, which is found to depend on the number of target fragments. The comparison with the data of 32S-AgBr (at 200 AGeV) and 16O-AgBr (at 60 AGeV) interactions indicates that emission asymmetry depends on the projectile mass and energy.  相似文献

The softening of the IR active 300 cm−1 phonon mode in Tl-2223 superconductor, aroundT c has been explained by considering a sixth order polarization potential at the off-center oxygen ion site in the Tl-O plane, and by using a nonlinear lattice dynamical theory. The present theory explains, more or less satisfactorily, the unusual temperature dependence of oxygen ion vibration and frequency shifts at higher temperature. The existence of strong nonlinear electron-phonon interaction atT c has been emphasized.  相似文献

A quantum hydrodynamical study is made of the dynamical changes of a helium atom interacting with lasers of two different intensities, but having the same frequency. Under the intense laser field, electron density oozes out of the helium atom by absorbing laser photons and getting promoted to higher excited states including the continuum. Under the superintense field, electron density partly moves away from the helium nucleus but remains in the “quasi-bound” dressed states along with the laser field, thus suppressing ionization.  相似文献

Controllable and uniform doping of nanowires (NWs) is the ultimate challenge prior to their effective application. Si NWs amorphize and bend toward the impinging ions under ion irradiation as a result of viscous flow. We demonstrate that thermal annealing induces a full recovery of the crystalline phase corresponding to the unbending of the NWs. The competition between Solid Phase Epitaxy and Random Nucleation and Growth at the nanoscale is the key parameter controlling the recovery.  相似文献

Marginal steady state belongs to a special class of states in nonlinear dynamics. To realize this state we consider a cubic autocatalytic reaction A + 2B → 3B in a continuous-stirred-tank-reactor, where the flow rate of the reactant A can be controlled to manipulate the dynamical behavior of the open system. We demonstrate that when the flow rate is weakly noisy the autocatalytic reaction admits of a steady state which is marginal in nature and is surrounded by infinite number of periodic trajectories. When the uncatalyzed reaction A → B is included in the reaction scheme, there exists a marginal steady state which is a critical state corresponding to the point of transition between the flow branch and the equilibrium branch, similar to gas-liquid critical point of transition. This state loses its stability in the weak noise limit.  相似文献

We consider the motion of Brownian particles confined in a two-dimensional symmetric bilobal enclosure with uneven cross section. Varying cross section of the confinement results in an effective entropic potential in reduced dimension. By employing two external noise forces, one additive and another multiplicative along x direction, we demonstrate that a correlation between them causes a symmetry breaking of entropic stability, i.e., a difference in relative stability of two lobes. This leads to an asymmetric localization of population in the stationary state. A two-state model is proposed to explain the asymmetric localization of population due to entropic diffusion.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline Fe2O3 powder was synthesized by a simple chemical route involving FeCl3 and NaOH. The Fe2O3 powder thus prepared was characterized using x-ray diffraction study, scanning electron microscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The adsorption properties of crystalline Fe2O3 powder have been investigated with an aim to explore a possible low cost and efficient way to remove Congo red (CR) from waste water. Fe2O3 powder was found as an excellent adsorbent for CR from aqueous medium. Adsorption capacity as much as 203.66 mg g?1 is reported at room temperature. Effect of different experimental parameters such as reaction pH, initial CR dye concentration, adsorbent dose, and reaction temperature were studied on adsorption capacity of Fe2O3 powder and modeled by artificial neural network (ANN). Optimal ANN structure (4–5–1) shows minimum mean squared error (MSE) of 0.00235 and determination coefficient (R2) of 0.991 with Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm. Isotherm analysis of experimental data exhibited better fit to the Langmuir isotherm. The adsorption process was found to follow second-order kinetics as depicted by the analysis of experimental results. Thermodynamic study shows that the adsorption process is endothermic, spontaneous, and thermodynamically favorable in the temperature range of 27°C to 60°C.  相似文献

The catalytic roles of ionic liquids (ILs) in the syntheses of 1,3-disubstituted ureas from the carboxylation of amines by CO(2) were experimentally and theoretically investigated. The carboxylation reaction of n-butylamine was greatly facilitated by the presence of an IL and the catalytic activity of the IL was strongly affected by the nucleophilicity of the anion. Computational study on the mechanistic aspects of the carboxylation with methylamine with or without the presence of an IL, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride, implies that the activation energies of the transition states and the intermediate ionic species could be lowered significantly through the multi-interactions of the carbonyl group of CO(2) with both cations and anions of the ILs.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive field detection and spectrophotometric method for determination of copper described herewith is based on the formation of a red coloured species of copper(II) with 1-[pyridyl-(2)-azo]-naphthol-(2) (PAN), TX-100 and N,N'-diphenylbenzamidine (DPBA) at pH range 7.8-9.4. The red coloured Cu(II)-PAN-(TX-100)-DPBA complex in chloroform shows maximum absorbance at 520 nm with molar absorptivity value of 1.14x10(5) l mol(-1) cm(-1). The detection limit of the method is 2 ng ml(-1) organic phase. The system obeys Beer's law up to 0.6 mug Cu(II) ml(-1) in organic solution. Most of the common metal ions generally found associated with copper do not interfere. The repeatability of the method was checked by finding relative standard deviation (RSD) (n=10) value for solutions each containing 0.2 mug ml(-1) of Cu(II) and the RSD value of the method was found to be 1.5%. The validity of the method has been satisfactorily examined for the determination of copper in soil and airborne dust particulate samples.  相似文献
