Organomagnesium halides (Grignard reagents) are essential carbanionic building blocks widely used in carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bond-forming reactions with various electrophiles. In the Barbier variant of the Grignard synthesis, the generation of air- and moisture-sensitive Grignard reagents occurs concurrently with their reaction with an electrophile. Although operationally simpler, the classic Barbier approach suffers from low yields due to multiple side reactions, thereby limiting the scope of its application. Here, we report a mechanochemical adaptation of the Mg-mediated Barbier reaction, which overcomes these limitations and facilitates the coupling of versatile organic halides (e.g., allylic, vinylic, aromatic, aliphatic) with a diverse range of electrophilic substrates (e.g., aromatic aldehydes, ketones, esters, amides, O-benzoyl hydroxylamine, chlorosilane, borate ester) to assemble C−C, C−N, C−Si, and C−B bonds. The mechanochemical approach has the advantage of being essentially solvent-free, operationally simple, immune to air, and surprisingly tolerant to water and some weak Brønsted acids. Notably, solid ammonium chloride was found to improve yields in the reactions of ketones. Mechanistic studies have clarified the role of mechanochemistry in the process, indicating the generation of transient organometallics facilitated by improved mass transfer and activation of the surface of magnesium metal.  相似文献

Dynamical compactness with respect to a family as a new concept of chaoticity of a dynamical system was introduced and discussed in Huang et al. (J Differ Equ 260(9):6800–6827, 2016). In this paper we continue to investigate this notion. In particular, we prove that all dynamical systems are dynamically compact with respect to a Furstenberg family if and only if this family has the finite intersection property. We investigate weak mixing and weak disjointness by using the concept of dynamical compactness. We also explore further difference between transitive compactness and weak mixing. As a byproduct, we show that the \(\omega _{{\mathcal {F}}}\)-limit and the \(\omega \)-limit sets of a point may have quite different topological structure. Moreover, the equivalence between multi-sensitivity, sensitive compactness and transitive sensitivity is established for a minimal system. Finally, these notions are also explored in the context of linear dynamics.  相似文献

The nature of the iron-iron bond in the mixed-valent diiron tris(diphenylforamidinate) complex Fe(2)(DPhF)(3), which was first reported by Cotton, Murillo et al. (Inorg. Chim. Acta 1994, 219, 7-10), has been examined using additional spectroscopic and theoretical methods. It is shown that the coupling between the two iron centers is strongly ferromagnetic, giving rise to an octet spin ground state. On the basis of M?ssbauer spectroscopy, the two iron centers, formally mixed-valent Fe(II)Fe(I), are completely equivalent with an isomer shift δ = 0.65 mm s(-1) and quadrupole splitting ΔE(Q) = +0.32 mm s(-1). A large, positive zero-field splitting D(7/2) = 8.2 cm(-1) has been determined from magnetic susceptibility measurements. Multiconfigurational quantum studies of the complete molecule Fe(2)(DPhF)(3) found one dominant configuration (σ)(2)(π)(4)(π*)(2)(σ*)(1)(δ)(2)(δ*)(2), which accounts for 73% of the ground-state wave function. By considering all the configurations, an estimated metal-metal bond order of 1.15 has been calculated. Finally, Fe(2)(DPhF)(3) exhibits weak electronic absorptions in the visible and near-infrared regions, which are assigned as d-d transitions from the doubly occupied metal-metal π molecular orbital to half-occupied π*, δ, and δ* orbitals.  相似文献

Heterocycles are commonly known for their unique features, e.g., antibacterial or anticancer properties. Although many synthetic heterocycles, such as 4-thiazolidinone (4-TZD), have been synthesized, their potential applications have not yet been fully investigated. However, many researchers have reported relevant results that can be a basis for the search for new potential drugs. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the cytotoxic, cytostatic, and antibacterial effects of certain 4-thiazolidinone-based derivatives, Les-3166, Les-5935, Les-6009, and Les-6166, on human fibroblasts (BJ), neuroblastoma (SH-SY5Y), epithelial lung carcinoma (A549), and colorectal adenocarcinoma (CACO-2) cell lines in vitro. All tested compounds applied in a concentration range from 10 to 100 µM were able to decrease metabolic activity in the BJ, A549, and SH-SY5Y cell lines. However, the action of Les-3166 was mainly based on the ROS-independent pathway, similarly to Les-6009. In turn, Les-5935 and Les-6166 were able to promote ROS production in BJ, A549, and SH-SY5Y cells, compared to the control. Les-3166, Les-6009, and Les-6166 significantly increased the caspase-3 activity, especially at the concentrations of 50 µM and 100 µM. However, Les-5935 did not induce apoptosis. Only Les-5935 showed a minor cytostatic effect on SH-SY5Y cells. Additionally, the antibacterial properties of the tested compounds against P. aeruginosa bacterial biofilm can be ranked as follows: Les-3166 > Les-5935 > Les-6009. Les-6166 did not show any anti-biofilm activity. In summary, the study showed that Les-5935, Les-6009, and Les-6166 were characterized by anticancer properties, especially in the human lung cancer cell. In cases of BJ, SH-SY5Y, and CACO-2 cells the anticancer usage of such compounds is limited due to effect visible only at 50 and 100 µM.  相似文献

Combining core annulation and peripheral group modification, we have demonstrated a divergent synthesis of a family of highly functionalized coronene derivatives from a readily accessible dichlorodiazaperylene intermediate. Various reactions, such as aromatic nucleophilic substitution, Kumada coupling and Suzuki coupling proceed effectively on α-positions of the pyridine sites, giving rise to alkoxy, thioalkyl, alkyl or aryl substituted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. In addition to peripheral group modulation, the aromatic core structures can be altered by annulation with thiophene or benzene ring systems. Corresponding single crystal X-ray diffraction and optical studies indicate that the heteroatom linkages not only impact the solid state packing, but also significantly influence the optoelectronic properties. Moreover, these azacoronene derivatives display significant acid-induced spectroscopic changes, suggesting their great potential as colorimetric and fluorescence proton sensors.  相似文献

A new local method for the computation of electronic excitation energies of singlet states in extended molecular systems is presented. It is based on the CC2 model and local approximations to the wave functions. In the proposed method the singles excitations are treated nonlocally and local restrictions are imposed on doubles amplitudes only. The accuracy of the new method was tested by calculating several lowest excited states for 14 molecules and comparing them with canonical CC2 values. Deviations of the local excitation energies from the canonical reference values do not exceed 0.05 eV for all test molecules and all states in the lower energy range investigated in this work. The method uses the density-fitting approximation for all two-electron integrals, which considerably simplifies the computational complexity of the individual diagrams. A combination of the local approximations and the powerful density-fitting technique leads to a low-scaling method, capable to treat molecular systems comprised of 100 atoms and more in a basis of a polarized double zeta quality. A test calculation for a system consisting of 127 atoms and 370 active electrons without symmetry is presented to show the efficiency of the new method.  相似文献

Caged compounds comprise the group of artificially synthesized, light-sensitive molecules that enable in situ derivation of biologically active constituents capable of affecting cells, tissues and/or biological processes upon exposure to light. Ruthenium-bispyridine (RuBi) complexes are photolyzed by biologically harmless visible light. In the present study, we show that RuBi-caged nicotine can be used as a source of free nicotine to induce proliferation of A549 nonsmall-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells by acting on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors expressed in these cells. RuBi-nicotine was photolyzed using LED light source with the spectrum matching RuBi-absorption. Photorelease of free nicotine ([Nic]p/r) was quantified by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). 5-s-long light exposure of 10 μm of RuBi-nicotine generated 2 μm [Nic]p/r which enhanced A549 cell proliferation similarly to the 2 μm of plain nicotine during 72 h of cell culturing. Both RuBi-nicotine per se and its photolysis byproduct exerted no effect on A549 cells. We conclude that RuBi-nicotine can be a good source of free nicotine for inducing short- and long-term biological effects. Photolysis of RuBi-nicotine is quite effective, and can produce biologically relevant concentrations of nicotine at acceptable concentrations of the source material with the use of simple, inexpensive, and easily accessible light sources.  相似文献
