Density functional theory (DFT) was applied to describe the magnetic and electron-transfer properties of dinuclear systems containing the [MnO2Mn]n+ core, with n=0,1,2,3,4. The calculation of the potential energy surfaces (PESs) of the mixed-valence species (n=1,3) allowed the classification of these systems according to the extent of valence localization as Class II compounds, in the Robin-Day classification scheme. The fundamental frequencies corresponding to the asymmetric breathing vibration were also computed.  相似文献

A novel reaction sequence leading to the synthesis of substituted biphenyls containing a carbonyl group in an aliphatic chain has been achieved in one-pot reaction starting from iodoarenes and allylic alcohols under the catalytic action of palladium and norbornene. The latter is temporarily incorporated into a palladacycle, which directs the reaction towards the selective formation of an arylaryl bond. Norbornene spontaneously deinserts to allow the biphenylylpalladium bond thus formed to react in its turn with the allylic alcohol.  相似文献

Chelating or metallacycle-forming substrates are very useful for directing organometallic reactions. This review covers the more recent research that has been carried out in the authors' laboratory. Rhodium(I)- and (III)-catalysed reactions of C---C coupling of butadiene with N-allylamides or N-alkylbutenamides are described. These reactions are controlled by the size and strength of the chelate ring formed by double-bond insertion into the crotyl-rhodium bond (formed from butadiene) and their regioselectivity can change with the oxidation state of the metal. Rhodium(I)-catalysed reactions of butadiene with enamides are also chelation controlled and lead to different products, depending on the substituents at nitrogen. Cobalt(II) metallacycles have been utilized for promoting some organic reactions. It has been shown that alkenes can be catalytically incorporated into cobaltacyclopentadiene rings, that spirocycles can be obtained from diynes, carbon monoxide and acrylic esters and that a Pauson-Khand-type reaction can be combined with a Michael-type reaction to prepare catalytically new cyclopentenones. The use of palladacycles, derived from norbornene insertion into aryl-palladium bonds, followed by cyclization, has allowed the selective functionalization of either end of the metallacycle and the formation of condensed rings. Conversion of a palladium(II) into a palladium(IV) metallacycle, and catalytic processes involving these intermediates, have been achieved. The formation of alkylaromatic palladacycles has also been exploited for the selective meta functionalization of the aromatic moiety by means of alkyl groups, accompanied by expulsion of the norbornene molecule.  相似文献

(R)-Phenylglycinol is shown to be an efficient building block for the synthesis of chiral amino diols in pure diastereomeric form by epoxide ring-opening reactions. The reaction with rac-trans-stilbene oxide gives [HOCH(2)-(R)-PhCH]NH[(S)-PhCH-(R)-PhCHOH] [2(R)-3(R)-4(S)-HNO(2)H(2)] in 32% yield, which can be methylated at nitrogen to give enantiomerically pure [HOCH(2)-(R)-PhCH]NCH(3)[(S)-PhCH-(R)-PhCHOH] [2(R)-3(R)-4(S)-MeNO(2)H(2)]. These amino diol ligands have been used to prepare chiral dioxomolybdenyl complexes of the formula N(R)-2(R)-3(R)-4(S)-(HNO(2))MoO(2) (1) and N(R)-2(R)-3(R)-4(S)-(MeNO(2))MoO(2) (2). The absolute configuration at each stereocenter in the Mo(VI) complexes has been established by (1)H NOESY spectroscopy. The configuration determined for 1 has been confirmed by an X-ray analysis. Crystal data: orthorhombic P2(1)2(1)2(1), a =7.620(3), b = 13.589(2), c = 20.339(3) ?, Z = 4, R = 0.0336. The structure consists of a polymeric chain of N(R)-2(R)-3(R)-4(S)-(HNO(2))MoO(2) molecules connected through unsymmetrical Mo=O --> Mo bridges. Each metal center is coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry by a cis dioxo unit and by two trans alkoxo atoms. The coordination polyhedron is completed by a nitrogen atom and by a bridging oxo oxygen atom from an adjacent molecule. Compound 2 catalyzes the oxidation of PPh(3) to OPPh(3) by DMSO through a mechanism that involves the intermediacy of a Mo(IV) species.  相似文献

The need of designing a monitoring network in Sierra de Guerrero motivated this paper. The study of the effect of deforestation of the forest needs of monitoring in the diversity. A quantitative evaluation of diversity is measured by estimating an index. Commonly the monitoring of biodiversity is based on the periodical selection of samples for evaluating the diversity. We propose to use sample information for determining post strata. They must constitute homogeneous zones in the forest. A stochastic program is developed for determining the post strata to be used for sampling. The procedure seems to be a good alternative with respect to the use of a heuristic procedure. The results presented are based on the data obtained in a research developed at one of the most important forest diversity reservoirs of Mexico  相似文献
