A class of finite monounary algebras is said to be a formation if it is closed under homomorphic images and finite subdirect products. Let us denote by ${\mathbb{F}}$ the collection of all formations of finite monounary algebras. Then ${\mathbb{F}}$ can be partially ordered by the class-theoretical inclusion and it forms a complete lattice. The main aim of this paper is to show that ${\mathbb{F}}$ is isomorphic to the lattice of all hereditary subsets of a certain poset.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of early tumor growth on T2 relaxation times in an experimental glioma model. A 9.4-T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system was used for the investigations. An animal model (n=12) of glioma was established using an intracranial inoculation of U87MGdEGFRvIII cells. The imaging studies were performed from Day 10 through Day 13 following tumor inoculation. Tumor blood vessel density was determined using quantitative immunochemistry. Tumor volume was measured daily using MR images. T2 values of the tumor were measured in five areas across the tumor and calculated using a single exponential fitting of the echo train. The measurements on Days 10 and 13 after tumor inoculation showed a 20% increase in T2. The changes in T2 correlated with the size of the tumor. Statistically significant differences in T2 values were observed between the edge of the tumor and the brain tissue on Days 11, 12 and 13 (P=.014, .008, .001, respectively), but not on Day 10 (P=.364). The results show that T2-weighted MRI may not detect glioma during an early phase of growth. T2 increases in growing glioma and varies heterogenously across the tumor.  相似文献

The development of an RP‐HPLC method for the separation of aripiprazole and its nine impurities was performed with the use of partial least squares regression, response surface plot methodology, and chromatographic response function. The HPLC retention times and computed molecular parameters of the aripiprazole and its nine impurities were further used for the quantitative structure–retention relationship (QSRR) study. The QSRR model, R2: 0.899, Q2: 0.832, root mean square error of estimation: 4.761, root mean square error of prediction: 6.614, was developed. Very good agreement between the predicted and observed retention times (tR) for three additional aripiprazole impurities (TC1–TC3) indicated the high prediction potential of the QSRR model for tR evaluation of other aripiprazole impurities and metabolites. The developed HPLC method is the first reported method for the efficient separation of aripiprazole and its nine impurities, which could be used for the analysis of an additional three aripiprazole impurities (TC1–TC3).  相似文献

For the first time, measurements of the cosmic microwave background radiation (CMB) alone favor cosmologies with w = -1 dark energy over models without dark energy at a 3.2-sigma level. We demonstrate this by combining the CMB lensing deflection power spectrum from the Atacama Cosmology Telescope with temperature and polarization power spectra from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe. The lensing data break the geometric degeneracy of different cosmological models with similar CMB temperature power spectra. Our CMB-only measurement of the dark energy density Ω(Λ) confirms other measurements from supernovae, galaxy clusters, and baryon acoustic oscillations, and demonstrates the power of CMB lensing as a new cosmological tool.  相似文献

In this study an investigation of a model drug sorption onto cationic surfactant-modified natural zeolites as a drug formulation excipient was performed. Natural zeolite was modified with cetylpyridinium chloride in amounts equivalent to 100, 200 and 300% of its external cation-exchange capacity. The starting material and obtained organozeolites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, zeta potential measurements and thermal analysis. In vitro sorption of diclofenac sodium as a model drug was studied for all surfactant/zeolite composites by means of sorption isotherm measurements in aqueous solutions (pH 7.4). The modified zeolites with three levels of surfactant coverage within the short activation time were prepared. Zeta potential measurements and thermal analysis showed that when the surfactant loading level was equal to external cation-exchange value, almost monolayer of organic phase were present at the zeolitic surface while higher amounts of surfactant produced less extended bilayers, ordered bilayers or admicelles at the zeolitic surface. Modified zeolites, obtained in this manner, were effective in diclofenac sodium sorption and the organic phase derived from adsorbed cetylpyridinium chloride was the primary sorption phase for the model drug. The Langmuir isotherm was found to describe the equilibrium sorption data well over the entire concentration range. The separate contributions of the adsorption and partition to the total sorption of DS were analyzed mathematically. Results revealed that that adsorption and partitioning of the model drug take place simultaneously.  相似文献

This paper is a continuation of [5], where k-homogeneous and k-set-homogeneous algebras were defined. The definitions are analogous to those introduced by Fraïssé [2] and Droste, Giraudet, Macpherson, Sauer [1] for relational structures. In [5] we found all 2-homogeneous and all 2-set-homogeneous monounary algebras when the homogenity is considered with respect to subalgebras, to connected subalgebras and with respect to connected partial subalgebras, respectively. The results of [3], where all homogeneous monounary algebras were characterized, were applied in [4] for 1-homogeneity.The aim of the present paper is to describe all monounary algebras which are 2-homogeneous and 2-set-homogeneous with respect to partial subalgebras, respectively; we will say that they are partially-2-homogeneous and partially-2-set-homogeneous.  相似文献

In this paper, an improved approach to interpret results of principal component analysis (PCA) of time‐of‐flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF‐SIMS) spectra is presented. Signals are typically observed in different intensity ranges in a single ToF‐SIMS spectrum due to different sensitivity factors and surface concentrations. This can complicate the PCA interpretation, because loadings are reported to be strongly affected by these intensity changes. In contrast, it is shown here that correlation loadings are unaffected by these differences. In particular, correlation loadings were successfully used to identify signals with relatively low intensity but high significance. These signals may be overlooked when only loadings are used. This is particularly true in failure analysis, where ToF‐SIMS is used to screen for initially unknown signals that may be relevant for the characteristics/failure of a product. As a model study, the concept was applied to investigate ageing of Li‐ion batteries by ToF‐SIMS. In this data set, the significance of impurities that affect the quality of Li‐ion batteries was identified only by correlation loadings, whereas the loadings were found to overestimate the influence of other matrix signals. In addition, correlation loadings aid in the chemical identification and helped to successfully assign unknown peaks.  相似文献
