Femtosecond electron pulse compression by using the time focusing technique in ultrafast electron diffraction

We present a new model of an electron gun for generating subrelativistic femtosecond (fs) electron pulses. The basic idea is to utilize a dc acceleration stage combined with a time focusing region, the time focusing electrode generates an electron energy chirp for bunching at the target. Without considering the space charge effects, simulations of the electron gun were carried out under the conditions of different dc voltages and various slopes of the voltage added on the time focusing electrode. Tracing and simulating large numbers of photoelectrons through Monte-Carlo and finite difference methods, the electron pulses with 1 ps can be compressed to 55 fs, which will allow significant advances in the field of ultrafast diagnosis.     

Convergence of compressible Euler-Poisson system to incompressible Euler equations

In this paper, we study the quasi-neutral limit of compressible Euler-Poisson equations in plasma physics in the torus T^d. For well prepared initial data the convergence of solutions of compressible Euler-Poisson equations to the solutions of incompressible Euler equations is justified rigorously by an elaborate energy methods based on studies on an λ-weighted Lyapunov-type functional. One main ingredient of establishing uniformly a priori estimates with respect to λ is to use the curl-div decomposition of the gradient.     

羊八井50m2RPC实验及初步测试结果

介绍了羊八井50m²电阻板室(RPC)地毯实验的结构、安装和对其性能的初步测试.测试的结果表明RPC完全能够很好地在海拔4300m,气压594mbar的羊八井宇宙线观测站正常地运行.     

近场光学扫描显微镜图象的行噪音处理

在近场光学扫描显微镜以及其他一些以扫描方式工作的系统中,由于各种原因,致使系统的扫描图象带有较大的行噪音.在这种情况下,采用传统的求平均法以及傅里叶滤波法去除行噪音效果不佳.本文提出了在空间域的自适应迭代处理和小波分析结合处理行噪音的方法.由于小波分析可以在时-频域局部化,而且时窗和频窗的宽度可以调节,故而可以检测到行噪音信号,并实现噪音的定位,实验证明效果较好.     

Study on effects of substrate temperature on growth and structure of alignment carbon nanotubes in plasma-enhanced hot filament chemical vapor deposition system

Alignment carbon nanotubes (ACNTs) were synthesized on silicon substrate coated with Ni catalyst film and Ta buffer layer by plasma-enhanced hot filament chemical vapor deposition using CH₄, NH₃, and H₂ as the reaction gas, and they were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. It is found that the diameter of the bamboo-structured ACNTs is increased from 62 to 177 nm when the substrate temperature was changed from 626 to 756 °C. Their growth rate is enhanced by the substrate temperature in a range of 626-683 °C and it is reversely reduced with the substrate temperature after the substrate temperature is over 683 °C. Beginning with wetting phenomenon, the effects of the substrate temperature on the structure and growth rate of the ACNTs are analyzed.     

Multiple Luminescence Responses towards Mechanical Stimulus and Photo-Induction: The Key Role of the Stuck Packing Mode and Tunable Intermolecular Interactions

Organic luminescence with different forms continues to be one of the most active research fields in science and technology. Herein, an ultra-simple organic molecule (TPA-B), which exhibits both mechanoluminescence (ML) and photo-induced room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) in the crystalline state, provides an opportunity to reveal the internal mechanism of ML and the dynamic process of photo-induced RTP in the same molecule. Through the detailed investigation of photophysical properties together with crystal structures, the key role of molecular packing and intermolecular interactions was highlighted in the luminescence response by mechanical and light stimulus, affording efficient strategies to design potential smart functional materials with multiple luminescence properties.     

Two new aromadendrane sesquiterpenes from Verticillium psalliotae

The chemical constituents of the fungus Verticillium psalliotae were studied. Two new aromadendrane sesquiterpenes inonotin M (1) and inonotin N (2) were isolated from the EtOAc extract of the fungal culture broth. The structures of compounds were elucidated mainly by HRESIMS experiments, and 1D, 2D-NMR spectroscopy analysis.     

A new dimeric alkylresorcinol from the stem barks of Swintonia floribunda (Anacardiaceae)

From an EtOAc-soluble fraction of the stem barks of Swintonia floribunda (Anacardiaceae), one new dimeric alkylresorcinol named integracin E (1), together with 4 known compounds (2–5) were isolated. Their chemical structures were elucidated based on the spectroscopic data interpretation. The absolute configuration of 1 was determined by the specific rotation analysis of its acid-catalyzed hydrolysis product. Compound 1 showed potent tyrosinase inhibitory activity with an IC₅₀ value of 48.2?μM.
