Cholesterol oxidase has been covalently immobilized onto 11-amino-1-undecanethiol hydrochloride (AUT) self-assembled monolayer (SAM) fabricated on gold (Au) substrates using glutaraldehyde as a cross-linker. These ChOx/AUT/Au bioelectrodes characterized using contact angle (CA) measurements; electrochemical technique and atomic force microscopy (AFM) have been utilized for the estimation of cholesterol in solution using the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technique. These biosensing electrodes exhibiting linearity from 50 to 500 mg/dL of cholesterol in solution and sensitivity of 1.23 m0/(mg dL), can be used more than 20 times and have a shelf life of about 10 weeks when stored at 4 degrees C. 相似文献

Abstract The Schiff bases derived from the condensation of 2-aminobenzothiazole derivatives and 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde and their silicon(IV) complexes with the general formula R2Si(L)Cl (R = Et, Bu, Ph, L = 2-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxy) benzylideneaminobenzo-thiazole) have been synthesized. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, and spectroscopic studies including IR and NMR (1H, 13C, and 29Si) spectroscopy. The analytical data suggest trigonal bipyramidal geometry around the silicon atom in the resulting complexes. The ligands and their organosilicon complexes have also been evaluated for in vitro antimicrobial activity against bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, and Escherichia coli) and fungi (Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans). The complexes were found to be more potent as compared to the ligands. Supplemental materials are available for this article. This research intends to expand a mathematical model for studying the non-Newtonian surge of blood through a hepatic artery in the presence of steno occlusive disease post-liver transplantation. Power law liquid demonstrates the non- Newtonian character of blood. The hemodynamic conduit of the fluid is altered by the occurrence of arterial stenosis. In our study, the difficulty is resolved by applying diagnostic methods with the assistance of marginal circumstances and consequences. The outcomes are explained graphically for unusual cases for such stenosis. The study design is based on a tensorial form and converts its solution using numerical and analytical techniques. Our study outcome suitably demonstrates that the mathematical model used corroborates with the clinical scenario of the patient with hepatic disease. 相似文献

In the present study, novel 4‐aryloxyquinazoline derivatives were synthesized and screened for in vitro cytotoxicity on human cancer cell lines at 10 μM. Some of the synthesized compounds displayed moderate to significant and selective cytotoxic activity against various leukemia, melanoma, ovarian, breast, and colon cancer cell lines. (E)‐3‐(3,4‐Dimethoxyphenyl)‐1‐(4‐(quinazolin‐4‐yloxy)phenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one ( 9b ) was the most potent compound among all with an average growth inhibition of 70% against leukemia cancer cell lines. FSO or free space optics is a familiar name used in a wide array of applications in the area of telecommunications. Due to its features of low maintenance cost and deployment time, most of the applications consider FSO as the alternative solution for appropriately replacing fiber optics. In this work, we have designed 100 Gbps FSO system by combining mode division multiplexing (MDM) and optical code multiple access scheme (OCDMA). Ten channels, each carrying 10 Gbps data, are transported over 8 km FSO link by using MDM of two Laguerre Gaussian modes and random diagonal codes. A compact planar antenna sources with on-chip fabrication and high directivity in order to achieve large depth-of-field for better image resolution is the prospective demand for THz imaging application. Therefore, the small-gap photoconductive dipole antennas have been explored to fulfil such applications demand. However, there are certain modalities for improving the photoconductive dipole antenna performance which need to identify to accomplish high THz average radiated power and improved total efficiency. The unit-cell small-gap photoconductive dipole antenna radiation power enhancement methods need to optimize the design parameters with photoconductive material selection from theoretical simulation. Further, the potential improvement of coupling efficiency of THz wave with air as well as femto-second laser incident efficiency is also important parameters to enhance the radiation power of small-gap photoconductive dipole antenna. In this paper, we have presented an analytical procedure employing explicit mathematical expression leading to the physical behaviour of small-gap photoconductive dipole antenna. The effects of biased lines on the antenna performance parameters are discussed with the help of proposed equivalent circuit model. We have explored the effect of gap-size on the THz radiated power and on total radiation efficiency from the proposed photoconductive dipole antennas. 相似文献

A deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) biosensor has been fabricated via immobilization of 17 base terminal single stranded DNA (ssDNA) identified from the 16s rRNA coding region of Escherichia coli onto sol–gel derived nanostructured zirconium oxide (NanoZrO2) film. An oligonucleotide probe with a terminal 5′-phosphate group has been attached to the surface of the electrode via affinity of NanoZrO2 for phosphate. The results of hybridization studies carried out with the complementary, non-complementary and genomic DNA reveal that ssDNA/NanoZrO2/ITO bioelectrode has a high selectivity and sensitivity towards hybridization detection with limits of 10?6–106 pM of complementary DNA. 相似文献

Polyaniline nanotubes (PANI-NT) based film electrophoretically deposited onto indium–tin–oxide (ITO) coated glass plate has been utilized for covalent immobilization of lipase (LIP), via glutaraldehyde (Glu), for triglyceride detection using impedimetric technique. It is shown that fatty acid molecules produced during triglyceride hydrolysis result in change in charge transfer resistance (RCT) of PANI-NT film with varying triglyceride concentration. LIP/Glu/PANI-NT/ITO bioelectrode has linearity as 25–300 mg dL?1, sensitivity as 2.59 × 10?3 KΩ?1 mg?1 dL, response time as 20 s and regression coefficient as 0.99. A low value of apparent Michaelis–Menten constant (~0.62 mM) indicates high enzyme affinity to tributyrin. The LIP/Glu/PANI-NT/ITO bioelectrode has been utilized to estimate triglyceride in serum samples. 相似文献
