The total synthesis of borrelidin has been achieved. The best feature of our synthetic route is macrocyclization at C11-C12 for the construction of an 18-membered ring after esterification between two segments. A detailed examination of the macrocyclization led us to the samarium(II) iodide-mediated intramolecular Reformatsky-type reaction as the most efficient synthetic approach. The two key segments were synthesized through regioselective methylation, directed hydrogenation, stereoselective Reformatsky-type reaction, and MgBr2.Et2O-mediated chelation-controlled allylation.  相似文献

In the imine aldol reactions of 1 with aromatic aldehydes using magnesium salts in the presence of amines, the threo/erythro ratios of products increased in the order Mg(ClO4)2>MgI2>MgBr2>MgCl2>Mg(OTf)2 and N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (TMEDA)>Et3N. This increase in the threo/erythro ratios of products was estimated to be caused by a retro-imine aldol reaction under thermodynamic control.  相似文献

The adsorption and desorption of Au nanoparticles (AuNP) in colloidal D2O suspension on the (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane treated SiO2/Si surface was investigated by in situ attenuated total reflection surface enhanced infrared absorption (ATR-SEIRA) spectroscopy with a liquid flow cell. With increasing surface density of AuNP, the absorption of the vibrational modes of D2O and of the citrate molecules covering the AuNP increases due to SEIRA. Repulsive electrostatic Coulomb forces between the AuNP lead to the saturation of the AuNP surface density at submonolayer coverage. We show that the adsorption kinetics can be investigated by monitoring in situ the molecular vibrational modes of D2O and the citrate molecules. Furthermore, we clarify that the adsorption process can be described very well by a diffusion-limited first-order Langmuir kinetics model. When exposing a saturated AuNP submonolayer to 2-aminoethanethiol (AET)/D2O solution, the AuNP are removed from the surface and the IR absorption of the D2O vibrational modes become weaker again. Taking into account the time dependencies of the OD and the CH peaks, we propose a microscopic model where the AET molecules quickly adsorb on the AuNP by replacing most of the precovering citrate molecules exposed to the AET solution. As this takes place, the AuNP agglomerate-as we could detect with scanning electron microscopy-and are finally removed from the surface.  相似文献

A new method to determine N-terminal amino acid sequences of multiple proteins at low pmol level by a parallel processing has been developed. The method contains the following five steps: (1) reduction, S-alkylation and guanidination for targeted proteins; (2) coupling with sulfosucccimidyl-2-(biotinamido)ethyl-1,3-dithiopropionate(sulfo-NHS-SS-biotin) to N(alpha)-amino groups of proteins; (3) digestion of the modified proteins by an appropriate protease; (4) specific isolation of N-terminal fragments of proteins by affinity capture using the biotin-avidin system; (5) de novo sequence analysis of peptides by MALDI-TOF-/MALDI-TOF-PSD mass spectrometry with effective utilization of the CAF (chemically assisted fragmentation) method.1 This method is also effective for N-terminal sequencing of each protein in a mixture of several proteins, and for sequencing components of a multiprotein complex. It is expected to become an essential proteomics tool for identifying proteins, especially when used in combination with a C-terminal sequencing method.  相似文献

The effects of surfactant mixing on interfacial tension and on microemulsion formation were examined for systems of air/water and water/supercritical CO2 (scCO2) interfaces and for water/scCO2 microemulsions. A fluorinated surfactant, sodium bis(1H,1H,2H,2H-heptadecafluorodecyl)-2-sulfosuccinate (8FS(EO)2), was mixed with the three hydrocarbon surfactants, Pluronic L31, Tergitol TMN-6, and decyltrimethylammonium chloride (DeTAC), at equimolar ratio. For all the cases, the interfacial tension was significantly lowered by the mixing. The positive synergistic effect suggests that the mixed surfactants tend to pack more closely on the interface than the pure constituents. It was found, however, that the microemulsion formation in scCO2 was never facilitated by the mixing, except for the case of TMN-6. This is probably due to the segregation of the surfactants into hydrocarbon-rich and fluorocarbon-rich phases on the microemulsion surface.  相似文献

Geochemical association of137Cs and239,240Pu in the surface sediments from two oligotrophic and mesotrophic lakes in Japan was studied by sequential chemical extractions. The fractions separated were exchangeable and bound to carbonate, bound to oxides, bound to organic mattersulfides, and residual. The137Cs and239,240Pu were mainly associated with the organic matter-sulfides and residual fractions but exhibited the different vertical profiles at both lakes. The differences in association patterns between the lakes may be controlled by transport of these nuclides by organic settling particles to the bottom sediments and decomposition of the organics in the sediments.  相似文献

Loosely bonded (“rattling”) atoms with s2 lone pair electrons are usually associated with strong anharmonicity and unexpectedly low thermal conductivity, yet their detailed correlation remains largely unknown. Here we resolve this correlation in thermoelectric InTe by combining chemical bonding analysis, inelastic X-ray and neutron scattering, and first principles phonon calculations. We successfully probe soft low-lying transverse phonons dominated by large In1+ z-axis motions, and their giant anharmonicity. We show that the highly anharmonic phonons arise from the dynamic lone pair expression with unstable occupied antibonding states induced by the covalency between delocalized In1+ 5s2 lone pair electrons and Te 5p states. This work pinpoints the microscopic origin of strong anharmonicity driven by rattling atoms with stereochemical lone pair activity, important for designing efficient materials for thermoelectric energy conversion.  相似文献

Certain metal complexes are known as high-performance CO2 reduction photocatalysts driven by visible light. However, most of them rely on rare, precious metals as principal components, and integrating the functions of light absorption and catalysis into a single molecular unit based on abundant metals remains a challenge. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), which can be regarded as intermediate compounds between molecules and inorganic solids, are potential platforms for the construction of a simple photocatalytic system composed only of Earth-abundant nontoxic elements. In this work, we report that a tin-based MOF enables the conversion of CO2 into formic acid with a record high apparent quantum yield (9.8 % at 400 nm) and >99 % selectivity without the need for any additional photosensitizer or catalyst. This work highlights a new MOF with strong potential for photocatalytic CO2 reduction driven by solar energy.  相似文献

A rice bran polysaccharide designated RON was subjected either to partial hydrolysis with formic acid or to partial degradation by ultrasonic irradiation. A significant change in the molecular size was also observed during simple chromatography of RON on a strongly acidic ion exchange resin, although the apparent molecular weight of RON had been assumed to be more than 1 x 10(6) daltons (Da). This fact indicates that RON exists as molecular aggregates, presumably mediated by metal cations. Degradation products with average molecular weights above ca. 1 x 10(4) Da which were obtained by any of the three methods still retained the following activities of RON: in vivo antitumor activity against Meth-A fibrosarcoma in mice by oral administration, and in vitro macrophage stimulatory effects to induce tumoricidal activity and interleukin 1 production. This molecular size was proven to be the minimum requisite for these activities because smaller fragments were scarcely active. The aggregation was characteristic of RON but not essential for its antitumor activity because definite, though slightly reduced, activity was exhibited even by the smaller fragments obtained after the ion exchange resin treatment.  相似文献
