Quark Bomding Potential and Debye Screening Length

The binding and dissolution for the cc and bb bound states are studied by using different quark binding potentials in a nonrelativistic approximation. We calculate the critical value of the screening length by considering the Debye screening effect. The critical value r_D^c of the Debye screening length is highly sensitive to the form of the quark binding potential. We also estimate the critical temperature T_c of medium. The influence of the form of the quark binding potentials on dissolution for cc and bb bound states is discussed and compared to the previous results.     

Calculation of the Binding Energy in the One-Dimensional Hubbard Model by the VMC Method

Using variational Monte-Carlo method and choosing an antiferromagnetic trial wave function,we have calculated the binding energies just off half-filling in one-dimensional Hubbard chains. We found the binding for the lattice length N being less than 40 in the degenerate case, but no binding at aU in the non-degenerate case. However, with lattice length increasing gradually, difference between the two cases becomes smaller and smaller. Finally, there is no binding at all no matter whether or not the chains have a degeneracy at the Fermi level in the non-interacting (U=0) limit. It may bean in,dication of the independence of the final calculation results on the boundary conajtions for the large enough system or in thermodynamic limit.     

Studies on the Polarographic Catalytic Wave of Cinnamic Acid-Bu4NBr-H2O2 System

A new-type of polarographic catalytic wave of organic compound,the polarographic catalytic wave of cinnamic acid (CA) in the presence of tetra-butylammonium bromide (Bu₄NBr) and H₂O₂, is reported based on the combination of the reduction current of adsorbed CA induced by Bu₄NBr with the catalytic current of CA caused by H₂O₂. The dual enhancement of both Bu₄NBr and the oxidizing agent H₂O₂ on the polarographic current of CA produces excellent sensitivity.     

Study on the Determination of Vitamin K4 by Chemical Deoxygenation Micelle-Stabilized Room Temperature Phosphorimetry

Vitamin K₄(acetomenaphthone) is widely used as a haemoglutinin. Numerous studies focus on its determination, including UV, electrochemical and HPLC etc. HPLC has superseded other methods, but it requires lengthy and complex sample preparation.     

The Linear Optical Polarizability Spectra of Five C78 Isomers

Effects of anisotropy, symmetry, atom arrangement and Coulomb interaction on the linear optical polarizability spectra of five C₇₈ isomers are theoretically studied by using the extended Su-Schrieffer-Heeger model with and without Coulomb interaction. The main results are as follows. 1) The spectra become anisotropic with respect to the direction of the electric field of light. The property is common in the niorlel with and without Coulomb interaction. 2) The symmetry and atom arrangement have grcat effects on the peak positions, strengths, and number. 3) The Coulomb interaction tends to shift peaks to higher energies and enhances the oscillator strengths at higher energies.     

用CCD相机观测HL—1M弹丸消融过程

利用高速ＣＣＤ相机拍摄了ＨＬ－１Ｍ等离子体中注入氢弹丸时的Ｈａ辐射照片。得到的弹丸不同形状消融云照片表明：弹丸轨迹发生弯曲和出现条纹。通过对照片的处理获得了辐射光强的空间分布、弹丸的速度与轨迹,分析了弹丸与等离子体相互作用的物理机制,为进一步在弹丸注入条件下用ＣＣＤ测量等离子体局部磁场和电流分布打下了基础。     

THE MOMENTUM SELECTOR OF BIG CLOUD CHAMBER SET

Using a“preselection-register-operation for reselection”program,a selection systemof the Yunan big cloud chamber set used for cosmic ray reseach is projected andconstructed.A small on-line digital computation technigue is applied to the momentumselector of the system,and a special computation element is designed.According tothe deflection angle and momentum of a charged particle passing through the magniticfield,computation and logieal judgment can be done immediately for the track signal registered before.     

COMPOSITE MODEL OF QUARKS AND LEPTONS WITH ELEMENTARY SCALARS

The model in Ref.[5] is modified to include three doublets of quarks and Leptons so as to recover quark-Lepton symmetry. The second model is constructed from two elementary scalars and a fermion and is therefore more economical.     

The Analytical Helicity Amplitudes for Z → 3γ, γγ → γZ and γZ → γγ via W-Loop,Charged Scalar-Loop

The analytic helicity amplitudes of Z → 3γ, γγ → γZ and γZ → γγ via W-loop and charged scalar-loop are presented. There is some difference between our results and those in Z. Phys. C60 (1993) 175 (E.W.N. Glover and A.G. Morgan) for Z → 3γ via W-loop and fermion-loop, which has different physical meanings.
