An efficient deprotection of dithioacetals to carbonyls using Oxone-KBr in aqueous acetonitrile

A simple and efficient method has been developed for the chemoselective dethioacetalization of dithioacetals to aldehydes and ketones using Oxone-KBr in aqueous acetonitrile at room temperature.     

Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of novel oxysterols from lanosterol

Chemically diverse oxysterols and their synthetic manipulations were carried out from variety of Δ⁸⁽⁹⁾-lanosterol derivatives and evaluated for their in vitro antimicrobial activities. Most of the synthesized oxysterols exhibited significant antifungal activity against the tested strains.     

A novel hydrophobic fluorous ionic liquid for ligand-free Mizoroki–Heck reaction

Mizoroki–Heck reaction is carried out in a novel hydrophobic fluorous ionic liquid which was catalyzed by Pd-nanoparticles formed in situ from Pd(OAc)₂ used in the reaction. This reaction is operable under mild, aerobic, and ligand-free conditions in excellent yields. Aryl iodides, bromides as well as chlorides can be used showing its versatility. The key feature of the system is that catalyst along with ionic liquid can be reused at least five times with superior activity.     

Baryon pairs production ine + e − annihilation at\sqrt s = 2.4 GeV

Search for baryon pairs production ine ⁺ e ^? annihilation at \(\sqrt s = 2386 MeV\) is reported. The data relate to a luminosity of 161 nb^?1 collected by the DM2 experiment at DCI, the Orsay colliding ring. First measurements of directe ⁺ e ^? annihilation into \(\Lambda \bar \Lambda \) and ofe ⁺ e ^?→ \(p\bar p\) at this energy are presented. First observation of a goode ⁺ e ^?→ \(n\bar n\) candidate is reported and upper limits are given fore ⁺ e ^?→ \(n\bar n, \Lambda \bar \sum ^0 + c.c.\) and \(\Sigma ^0 \bar \Sigma ^0 \) .     

中孔分子筛HMS负载钴催化剂在费-托合成中的应用:载体HMS的孔径对钴基催化剂性能的影响

 用不同链长度的十二胺，十四胺，十六胺和十八胺等伯胺为模板\r\n剂合成了具有不同孔径大小的HMS中孔分子筛．XRD和低温氮吸附测定表\r\n明，HMS具有典型的中孔分子筛特征，且其孔径大小随HMS合成中所用模\r\n板剂链长度的增加而增加．以HMS为载体，采用孔体积浸渍法制备了负\r\n载量为7．5％的钴催化剂，在接近工业试验条件下（n（H2）／n（CO）\r\n＝2．1，GHSV＝500h－1，p＝2．0MPa，θ＝227℃）考察了载体孔径大\r\n小对费－托合成反应性能的影响．结果表明，与常规的SiO2载体相比，\r\nHMS负载钴催化剂具有更高的催化活性和C5＋选择性；而且，CO转化率\r\n，C5＋选择性及产物中的蜡油比均随着HMS载体孔径的增大而升高．以\r\n7．5％Co／HMS－18为催化剂，CO转化率为78．0％，C5＋选择性为80．\r\n8％，蜡油比为11．1．     

Design, synthesis, and micellar properties of bile acid dimers and oligomers linked with a 1,2,3-triazole ring

1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition of propargyl esters of bile acids to azide group attached at different positions of bile acids gave dimers, trimer, and tetramer linked with 1,2,3-triazole. These dimeric and oligomeric structures were able to solubilize hydrophilic dye—cresol red, in nonpolar solvent.     

Titanium Tetrachloride-Mediated Carbon-Carbon Chlorocyanoethylation of Anisole: Synthesis of Tyrosine Derivatives

Chlorocyanoethylation of anisole with 2-chloroacrylonitrile in presence of titanium tetrachloride furnished α-chloro-β-(4-methoxyphenyl)propionitrile. This on simple reaction sequence was converted to (±) methyl-α-amino-β-(4-methoxyphenyl)propionate, a tyrosine derivative.     

Trichloroisocyanuric Acid–Mediated One-Pot Synthesis of Unsymmetrical 2,5-Disubstituted 1,3,4-Oxadiazoles at Ambient Temperature

An efficient method for the one-pot synthesis of unsymmetrical 2,5-disubstituted 1,3,4-oxadiazoles has been developed using trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) at ambient temperature. A wide variety of aromatic as well as heterocyclic aldehydes exhibit condensation with a variety of acylhydrazines followed by oxidative cyclization to yield corresponding unsymmetrical 2,5-disubstituted 1,3,4-oxadiazoles. The mild nature of the synthesis and short reaction time are notable advantages of the developed protocol.     

Synthesis of Chloramphenicol via a new Intermediate 4-para-Nitrophenyl-5-formamido-1,3-dioxane

4-Phenyl-5-amino-1,3-dioxane 4, obtained from β-bromo styrene 2 was protected as formamido derivative 5. Nitration of 5 followed by regioselective acylative cleavage of the nitro product 12 gave N-formyl-N-acetyl hemiacetal diacetate 16, which on sequential base and acid hydrolysis followed by dichloroacetylation gave chloramphenicol 1.
