Fluorous mixture synthesis provided all eight diastereomers of the phytophthora hormone α1 with the R configuration at C11 as individual samples after demixing and detagging. The library of all possible bis-Mosher esters (16) was then made by esterification. Complete sets of (1)H, (13)C, and (for the Mosher esters) (19)F NMR spectra were recorded, assigned, and compared with each other and with published spectra. Not all of the spectra are unique, and the (1)H NMR spectra of the Mosher esters provided the most information. The previous assignment of the natural sample as an "all-R" stereoisomer mixed with its 3S-epimer was confirmed.  相似文献

Arynes were generated in situ from ortho‐silyl aryl triflates and fluoride ions in the presence of stable N‐heterocyclic carbene boranes (NHC? BH3). Spontaneous hydroboration ensued to provide stable B‐aryl‐substituted NHC‐boranes (NHC? BH2Ar). The reaction shows good scope in terms of both the NHC‐borane and aryne components and provides direct access to mono‐ and disubstituted NHC‐boranes. The formation of unusual ortho regioisomers in the hydroboration of arynes with an electron‐withdrawing group supports a hydroboration process with hydride‐transfer character.  相似文献

We have studied the formation of a platinum complex and developed a simple, rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method for the determination of platinum in solution. The method is based on the complexation reaction of the chromogen, prochlorperazine bismethane-sulfonate (PCPMS), with platinum(IV) in phosphoric acid medium which forms a reddish brown 1 1 complex with an absorption maximum around 528 nm. The reaction is fast in the presence of copper(II) and goes to completion within 1 min. Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range 0.3–7.2 g/ml of platinum(IV) with an optimal range of 1.2–6.6 g/ml. The molar absorptivity is 2.65 × 1041 mol–1 cm–1 and the Sandell's sensitivity is 7.8 ng cm–2. The stability constant, logK, of the complex is 4.96±0.1 at 25 ° C. The effects of time, temperature, concentrations of acids, PCPMS and copper(II), and the interference by various ions are investigated. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of platinum content in alloys and minerals.  相似文献

A fluorous prolinol precatalyst bearing only 34 fluorine atoms has been immobilized in the hydrofluoroether solvent HFE-7500. The CBS reduction of acetophenone proceeded rapidly, in high yield and in high ee in the absence of any organic solvent. The organic product was stripped from the HFE-7500 phase with a polar solvent, and the HFE-7500 phase was reused "as is" with satisfactory results through eight runs. This process is an attractive prototype for the large-scale use, recovery, and reuse of fluorous organocatalysts.  相似文献

The phase‐vanishing (PV) method is based on spontaneous reaction controlled by diffusion of reagents into fluorous media, such as perfluorohexanes (FC‐72) and polyperfluoroethers. Thus, the original PV reaction utilizes a triphasic test tube method composed of a bottom reagent phase, a middle fluorous phase, and a top substrate phase. In such a triphasic system, the fluorous phase acts as a liquid membrane to transport the bottom reagents to the top organic phase containing substrates. In the end, the bottom layer disappears and two phases remain. Since the first demonstration of the PV method by bromination of alkenes with molecular bromine, a number of applications have been developed thus far. These include halogenation of alcohols with SOBr2 and PBr3, demethylation of methoxyarenes with BBr3, cyclopropanation of alkenes by CH2I2‐AlEt3, and Friedel–Crafts acylation of aromatic compounds with SnCl4. A fluorous triphasic U‐tube method is effective for chlorination of alcohols based on lighter (less dense) reagents such as SOCl2 and PCl3. A system using a solution containing reagents as a bottom phase is useful for oxidation with m‐CPBA, which may be defined as a new category for the “extractive PV” method. Recent advances include a “quadraphasic” PV method, in which an aqueous “scavenger” phase is added to the original triphasic PV method to remove acidic by‐products. © 2008 The Japan Chemical Journal Forum and Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Though the combustion chemistry of dimethyl ether (DME) has been widely investigated over the past decades, there remains a dearth of ignition data that examines the low-temperature, low-pressure chemistry of DME. In this study, DME/‘air’ mixtures at various equivalence ratios from lean (0.5) to extremely rich (5.0) were ignited behind reflected shock waves at a fixed pressure (3.0 atm) over the temperature range 625–1200 K. The ignition behavior is different from that at high-pressures, with a repeatable ignition delay time fall-off feature observed experimentally in the temperature transition zone from the negative temperature coefficient (NTC) regime to the high-temperature regime. This could not be reproduced using available kinetic mechanisms as conventionally homogeneous ignition simulations. The fall-off behavior shows strong equivalence ratio dependence and disappears completely at an equivalence ratio of 5.0. A local ignition kernel postulate was implemented numerically to quantifiably examine the inhomogeneous premature ignition. At low temperature, no pre-ignition occurs in the mixture. A conspicuous discrepancy was observed between the measurements and constrained UV simulations at temperatures beyond the NTC regime. A third O2 addition reaction sub-set was incorporated into AramcoMech 3.0, together with related species thermochemistry calculated using the G3/G4/CBS-APNO compound method, to explore the low-temperature deviation. The new reaction class does not influence the model predictions in IDTs, but the updated thermochemistry does. Sensitivity analyses indicate that the decomposition of hydroperoxy-methylformate plays a critical role in improving the low-temperature oxidation mechanism of DME but unfortunately, the thermal rate coefficient has never been previously investigated. Further experimental and theoretical endeavors are required to attain holistic quantitative chemical kinetics based on our understanding of the low-temperature chemistry of DME.  相似文献

A single-pulse shock tube study of the four pentene isomers is carried out at 2 ± 0.16 bar and 900–1600 K. C1 to C6 species profiles were recorded using gas chromatography mass spectrometry analyses. The species are identified using mass spectrometry and quantified by flame ionization detection. High-pressure limiting and pressure-dependent rate constants for 2M1B, 2M2B and 3M1B + ? were calculated using RRKM theory with a Master Equation (ME) analysis using the Master Equation System Solver, MESS. A mechanism was formulated based on rate rules and theoretical calculations. Comparisons between experimental results and model simulations are provided for all of the five pentene isomers investigated with satisfactory agreement. Furthermore, an insight is provided into the influence of molecular structure on the reactivity of pyrolysis chemistry. Interestingly, it is found that the HACA mechanism is much less prominent for benzene formation compared to the role of cyclopentadienyl radical recombination with methyl radicals and also the recombination of propargyl radicals.  相似文献
