Treatment of polluted soil is one of the priorities in the search of a more sustainable planet. Electrochemically assisted soil remediation has been considered a good option for removing organic contaminants contained in soil, including the removal of volatile organic compounds, associated with gaseous streams produced during the treatment. Also, recently, electrochemical gas treatment technologies have been appointed as promising for the treatment of volatile organic compounds. In this work, we review the current opinion about the most recent studies in both areas. The first section focuses on the production of gaseous compounds during soil remediation by conventional and electrochemical systems. The second section describes the recent progress in the integration of adsorption and absorption with electrochemical processes. Finally, we discuss the holistic application of assisted electrochemical technologies in soil remediation, considering also emerging processes recently published in the literature.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and X‐ray characterization of the N6‐benzyl‐N6‐methyladenine ligand (L) and three metal complexes, namely [Zn(HL)Cl3]·H2O ( 1 ), [Cd(HL)2Cl4] ( 2 ) and [H2L]2[Cd3(μ‐L)2(μ‐Cl)4Cl6]·3H2O ( 3 ). Complex 1 consists of the 7H‐adenine tautomer protonated at N3 and coordinated to a tetrahedral Zn(II) metal centre through N9. The octahedral Cd(II) in complex 2 is N9‐coordinated to two N6‐benzyl‐N6‐methyladeninium ligands (7H‐tautomer protonated at N3) that occupy apical positions and four chlorido ligands form the basal plane. Compound 3 corresponds to a trinuclear Cd(II) complex, where the central Cd atom is six‐coordinated to two bridging μ‐L and four bridging μ‐Cl ligands. The other two Cd atoms are six‐coordinated to three terminal chlorido ligands, to two bridging μ‐Cl ligands and to the bridging μ‐L through N3. Essentially, the coordination patterns, degree of protonation and tautomeric forms of the nucleobase dominate the solid‐state architectures of 1 – 3 . Additionally, the hydrogen‐bonding interactions produced by the endocyclic N atoms and NH groups stabilize high‐dimensional‐order supramolecular assemblies. Moreover, energetically strong anion–π and lone pair (lp)–π interactions are important in constructing the final solid‐state architectures in 1 – 3 . We have studied the non‐covalent interactions energetically using density functional theory calculations and rationalized the interactions using molecular electrostatic potential surfaces and Bader's theory of atoms in molecules. We have particularly analysed cooperative lp–π and anion–π interactions in 1 and π+–π+ interactions in 3 .  相似文献

Hydrogenation of the ketone group in di-O-benzylderivative ( 8 ) of the known macrocyclic lactone zeralenone ( 7 ) using a novel chiral borane complex 3 . BH3, prepared in situ, proceeded at lower temperatures with moderate diastereoselectivity (~40%, d. e. at ?60°). Unsaturated diastereomers 9 and 10 were separated, and 9 converted into zeranol ( 11 ), a known anabolic agent. Restricted conformational mobility at lower temperatures is assumed for the intermediate 8 on the basis of the temperature-dependent CD spectra of its acetyl congeners 18 and 19 . X-Ray structure analysis of 7-O-acetylderivative ( 13 ) of 11 revealed the (R)-configuration at C(7). Two crystallographically independent H2O molecules are involved in the H-bonds, one of them (O(21)) rises the helices of the molecules of 13 along b. Small positive torsional angle [C(16)-]C(161)-C(1) [=O] (+19.3°), transoid(E) conformation of the lactone group, and nearly achiral arrangement of the C(11)-C(12) bond (torsional angle [C(11)-]C(12)-C(121)[C(161)] is ?93°) are the main conformational features that differentiate the macrocylic RAL (resorcinic-acid lactone) derivatives from the 6-membered lactone derivative 20 , studied earlier by CD. Consequently, the rules developed for the CD effects within conjugation band (around 270 nm), and n→π* band (around 255 nm) of the latter compound, cannot be applied the macrocyclic lactones.  相似文献

The analytical potential of double focusing-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (DF-ICP-MS) for total elemental analysis in clinical samples (serum, blood, urine and other biological fluids), tissues and food products is illustrated by reviewing typical applications recently published. Also, the use of DF-ICP-MS as specific detector for trace element speciation in biological samples is discussed. After adequate separation of interferences in the chromatographic column, low resolution measurements (R = 300) can be used to provide enhanced sensitivities of more than 100 times compared with quadrupole-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (Q-ICP-MS). This capability is extremely valuable in speciation studies. Also, the use of DF-ICP-MS at low resolution could provide very precise isotope ratio measurements for isotope dilution analysis due to the ‘flat topped’ peaks obtained at this resolution. Unfortunately, the literature on these last two issues is rather scarce so far, in spite of their extremely high analytical possibilities for biological research. Moreover, the bright future of DF-ICP-MS as a most powerful multielemental detector for trace element applications in biological systems will be highlighted. Apart from applications detailed above other important application fields can be envisaged. In particular, we will speculate on its possible use to confirm/establish ‘reference values’ of trace element content in ‘normal’ populations and so to help to diagnose health and disease status, related with trace element total content or their speciation in clinical specimens.  相似文献

(±)-1-Cyclohexyl-c-2-hydroxymethyl-r-1-cyclohexanol 3, a precursor of the antimuscarinic drug Rociverine 1, was obtained diastereospecifically in very high yield, from the Grignard reaction between C6H11MgCl and an appropriately protected 2-(hydroxymethyl)cyclohexanone. A fully encapsulated Pt 4 tetrahedron in an incomplete tetrahedron of 36 nickel atoms is present in [Ni36Pt4(CO)45]6− ( 1 ; see picture for the metal framework), which is obtained as an inseparable mixture with [Ni37Pt4(CO)46]6− ( 2 ) by reaction of [Ni6(CO)12]2− with K2[PtCl4].
