Cyclopentenones are versatile structural motifs of natural products as well as reactive synthetic intermediates. The nickel‐catalyzed reductive [3+2] cycloaddition of α,β‐unsaturated aromatic esters and alkynes constitutes an efficient method for their synthesis. Here, nickel(0) catalysts comprising a chiral bulky C1‐symmetric N‐heterocyclic carbene ligand were shown to enable an efficient asymmetric synthesis of cyclopentenones from mesityl enoates and internal alkynes under mild conditions. The bulky NHC ligand provided the cyclopentenone products in very high enantioselectivity and led to a regioselective incorporation of unsymmetrically substituted alkynes. 相似文献

Enantioselective carboaminations of olefins constitute an attractive strategy for a rapid increase in molecular complexity from readily available starting materials. Reported here is an intermolecular asymmetric carboamination of acrylates using rhodium(III)-catalyzed alkenyl C−H activations of N-enoxysuccinimides to generate the nitrogen and carbon portion for the transfer. A rhodium complex equipped with a tailored bulky trisubstituted chiral Cpx ligand ensures carboamination chemoselectivity as well high levels of enantioinduction. The transformation operates under mild reaction conditions at ambient temperatures and provides access to a variety of α-amino esters in good yields and excellent enantiomeric ratios of >99.5:0.5. 相似文献

A polyolefin with certified biocompatibility according to USP class VI was used by our group as feedstock for filament-based 3D printing to meet the highest medical standards in order to print personal protective equipment for our university hospital during the ongoing pandemic. Besides the chemical resistance and durability, as well as the ability to withstand steam sterilization, this polypropylene (PP) copolymer is characterized by its high purity, as achieved by highly efficient and selective catalytic polymerization. As the PP copolymer is suited to be printed with all common printers in fused filament fabrication (FFF), it offers an eco-friendly cost–benefit ratio, even for large-scale production. In addition, a digital workflow was established focusing on common desktop FFF printers in the medical sector. It comprises the simulation-based optimization of personalized print objects, considering the inherent material properties such as warping tendency, through to validation of the process chain by 3D scanning, sterilization, and biocompatibility analysis of the printed part. This combination of digital data processing and 3D printing with a sustainable and medically certified material showed great promise in establishing decentralized additive manufacturing in everyday hospital life to meet peaks in demand, supply bottlenecks, and enhanced personalized patient treatment. 相似文献

Photocaged antibody fragments, termed photobodies, have been developed that are impaired in their antigen‐binding capacity and can be activated by irradiation with UV light (365 nm). This rational design concept builds on the selective photocaging of a single tyrosine in a nanobody (a single‐domain antibody fragment). Tyrosine is a frequently occurring residue in central positions of the paratope region. o‐Nitrobenzyl‐protected tyrosine variants were incorporated into four nanobodies, including examples directed against EGFR and HER2, and photodeprotection restores the native sequence. An anti‐GFP photobody exhibited an at least 10 000‐fold impaired binding affinity before photodeprotection compared with the parent nanobody. A bispecific nanobody–photobody fusion protein was generated to trigger protein heterodimerization by light. Photoactivatable antibodies are expected to become versatile protein reagents and to enable novel approaches in diagnostic and therapeutic applications. 相似文献

A novel class of chiral naphthyridine diimine ligands (NDI*) readily accessible from C2‐symmetric 2,6‐di‐(1‐arylethyl)anilines is described. The utility of these ligands, particularly one with fluorinated aryl side arms, is demonstrated by a reductive Ni‐catalyzed enantioselective alkylidene transfer reaction from 1,1‐dichloroalkenes to olefins. In order to determine the intrinsic reactivity behavior from thermogravimetry studies, the experimental conditions should be such that the reactions are not mass transfer limited. Biomass char usually has a higher reactivity than coal chars. Therefore, mass transfer limitations may be more problematic when studying biomass char reactivity. Chemical reaction kinetics and mass transfer processes present in thermogravimetry are used for modeling the overall reaction rate for spruce bark CO2 gasification. Thermogravimetric experiments are carried out between 700 and 900 °C, and the CO2 concentration is varied between 10 and 90 vol%. The intrinsic activation energy is found to be 120 kJ mol?1. The transition temperature between regimes I and II is here defined when the fraction apparent to true activation energy equals 0.75. Higher external mass transfer (e.g., by decreasing the diffusion path through the crucible’s freeboard), decreasing the sample amounts, and higher CO2 partial pressures for the Langmuir–Hinshelwood reaction type increase the transition temperature. The results show that the transition temperature between regimes I and II conditions is approx. 1,030 °C for 90 vol% CO2. 相似文献
