Since the first use of glass electrode to the detection of pH, many efforts have been made to develop new techniques and methods. In this study, the pH sensing properties of an extended gate field effect transistor (EGFET) based on the vanadium pentoxide xerogel thin film is investigated. The vanadium pentoxide was prepared by a sol–gel route. The X-ray diffractogram indicates the presence of a lamellar structure of the vanadium pentoxide xerogel films. The film was investigated as a sensor in the pH range of 2–12 and the corresponding EGFET has a sensitivity of 58.1 mV/pH. This value suggests that the material is a promising candidate for applications as disposable biosensor.  相似文献

The multivariate optimization method known as simplex is applied to the Kharasch–Sosnovsky allylic oxidation of double bonds. By applying this method, the amounts of three variables (copper source, oxidant, and additive) are optimized at the same time. Under the conditions thus obtained the reaction takes place in a considerable shorter time, being the alkene the limiting reagent. These conditions are applied to some monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes leading regioselectively to the corresponding benzoate esters, opening a route to the employment of this reaction in the synthesis of more complex molecules.  相似文献

A careful NMR analysis, especially by 1D TOCSY and 1D ROESY, of a refined saponin fraction allowed us to determine the structure of three saponins from a polar extract of Agave brittoniana Trel. spp. Brachypus leaves. The use of 1D DOSY for the suppression of the solvent signal was useful to obtain the chemical shifts of anomeric signals. A full assignment of the 1H and 13C spectral data for the new saponins, agabrittonosides E–F (1–2) and the well‐known Karatavioside C (3) and their methoxyl derivatives, is reported. The structures were established using a combination of 1D and 2D (1H, 1H‐COSY, TOCSY, ROESY, g‐HSQC, g‐HMBC and g‐HSQC‐TOCSY) NMR techniques and ESI–MS. The paper deals with the properties of a conic set-valued function defined on the set of all ideal points of vector programming problems. The results here about the continuity and derivability of this conic set-valued map, can be used to get information about the sensitivity of the problem and the stability of the order associated to every ideal point. The crystal structure and crystallization behavior of a series of poly(ester amide)s derived from L ‐tartaric acid, 1,6‐hexanediamine, and 6‐amino‐1‐hexanol were examined. The study included aregic polymers containing 5, 10, and 20% of ester groups in addition to the syndioregic polymer containing equal amounts of amide and ester groups. X‐ray diffraction data revealed that all the aregic poly(ester amide)s adopt the same crystal structure as the parent polyamide made of L ‐tartaric acid, and 1,6‐hexanediamine. In this structure, chains are slightly compressed and arranged as in the α‐form of nylon 66. Solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) revealed that ester groups are excluded from the crystal phase except for the case of the syndioregic polymer. Isothermal crystallization kinetics was analyzed according to the Avrami theory. Crystallization rates were found to decrease regularly with increasing contents in ester groups and with increasing crystallization temperature. Avrami exponent values close to 2 were found whereas spherulitic morphologies were observed by optical microscopy. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Thermolysis studies of β-hydroxyolefins in gas phase were realized using ab initio MP2 and DFT methods at the 6-31G* levels to explore the possibility of determining a possible concerted process with a six-membered cyclic transition state (TS). Vibrational frequency calculations were carried out in order to confirm the stationary states, including TS structures. IRC calculations have been performed in all cases in order to verify that localized TS structures connect with the corresponding minimum stationary points associated with the reactant and products. With the aim of corroborating the postulated mechanism in the experimental study, we present a theoretical study in order to calculate the rate constants and the activation parameters. The results obtained are in accordance with the experimental conclusions.  相似文献

The first parallel‐stranded DNA duplex with Hoogsteen base pairing that readily incorporates an Ag+ ion into an internal mispair to form a metal‐mediated base pair has been created. Towards this end, the highly stabilizing 6 FP ‐Ag+‐ 6 FP base pair comprising the artificial nucleobase 6‐furylpurine ( 6 FP ) was devised. A combination of temperature‐dependent UV spectroscopy, CD spectroscopy, and DFT calculations was used to confirm the formation of this base pair. The nucleobase 6 FP is capable of forming metal‐mediated base pairs both by the Watson–Crick edge (i.e. in regular antiparallel‐stranded DNA) and by the Hoogsteen edge (i.e. in parallel‐stranded DNA), depending on the oligonucleotide sequence and the experimental conditions. The 6 FP ‐Ag+‐ 6 FP base pair within parallel‐stranded DNA is the most strongly stabilizing Ag+‐mediated base pair reported to date for any type of nucleic acid, with an increase in melting temperature of almost 15 °C upon the binding of one Ag+ ion.  相似文献

Bonding in six‐coordinate complexes based on Group 13 elements (B, Al, Ga, In, Tl) is usually considered to be identical to that in transition‐metal analogues. We herein demonstrate through sophisticated electronic‐structure analyses that the bonding in these Group 13 element complexes is fundamentally different and better characterized as electron‐rich hypervalent bonding with essentially no role for the d orbitals. This characteristic is carried through to the molecular properties of the complex.  相似文献

The structure of precursors is used to control the formation of six possible structural isomers that contain four structural units of PbSe and four structural units of NbSe2: [(PbSe)1.14]4[NbSe2]4, [(PbSe)1.14]3[NbSe2]3[(PbSe)1.14]1[NbSe2]1, [(PbSe)1.14]3[NbSe2]2[(PbSe)1.14]1[NbSe2]2, [(PbSe)1.14]2[NbSe2]3[(PbSe)1.14]2[NbSe2]1, [(PbSe)1.14]2[NbSe2]2[(PbSe)1.14]1[NbSe2]1[(PbSe)1.14]1[NbSe2]1, [(PbSe)1.14]2[NbSe2]1[(PbSe)1.14]1[NbSe2]2[(PbSe)1.14]1[NbSe2]1. The electrical properties of these compounds vary with the nanoarchitecture. For each pair of constituents, over 20 000 new compounds, each with a specific nanoarchitecture, are possible with the number of structural units equal to 10 or less. This provides opportunities to systematically correlate structure with properties and hence optimize performance.  相似文献
