The structures of two acid catalysed rearrangement products of taxochinone ( 1 ) have been determined by X-ray analysis. One of the products turned out to be a 20 (10→9) abeo-abietane ( 2 ), the other an optically inactive phenalenone ( 3 ). Crystals of the former compound, C20H26O3, belong to space group P212121 with four molecules per cell and the structure was refined with 879 significant reflexions to R = 0.032. Crystals of the latter compound, C20H22O2, belong to space group P21/c with 12 molecules per cell and the structure was refined with 1823 significant reflexions to R = 0.058. 相似文献

Spiroligomers are a class of peptidomimetics that connect interchangeable, stereochemically pure, cyclic monomers through pairs of amide bonds to form diketopiperazines between the monomers. This enables them to adopt predictable and programmable structure due to the rigidity of the final molecule. We present a new method for the solid phase synthesis of highly functionalized spiroligomers that incorporates the use of the p-nitrobenzyloxycarbonyl (pNZ) as a temporary amine protecting group and the pentafluorophenyl ester for monomer activation. This new method allows for the synthesis of spiroligomers with higher purity and increased yields when compared to previous methods. This improved method of synthesis of functionalized spiroligomers will facilitate the development of applications as catalysts, therapeutics and membrane channels. 相似文献

Syntheses of Dibenzo[b,e][1,4]dioxin-2,3-quinones Including the Ecklonoquinones A and B and the Isoecklonoquinones A and B Oxidation of monomesyloxy-substituted pyrocatechols with MnO2 in toluene using phase-transfer conditions leads in high yield to monomesyloxy-substituted dibenzo[b,e][1,4]dioxin-2,3-quinones with loss of one mesyloxy group. In this way, ecklonoquinone A ( 2 ), ecklonoquinone B ( 3 ), isoecklonoquinone A ( 43 ), and isoecklonoquinone B ( 44 ) were prepared. Their structures are based on X-ray analyses of ecklonoquinone-A leucoacetate ( 45 ) and the mesyloxy-substituted quinone 20 . The reddish-violet dibenzodioxin-diquinone 49 was prepared from an intermediate of the iso-series. The parent compound 1 has been synthesized in yields better than 50% from pyrocatechol and methyl 2,5-dioxo-2,5-dihydrobenzoate as oxidant and 2-methoxypyridin as catalyst. To rationalize the specific effect on the dimerisation step of the mesyloxy group, the intermediacy of 1,4-quinone monoacetals is proposed. This also applies to a proposed biogenetic scheme. 相似文献

There is significant interest in ligands that can stabilize actinide ions in oxidation states that can be exploited to chemically differentiate 5f and 4f elements. Applications range from developing large-scale actinide separation strategies for nuclear industry processing to carrying out analytical studies that support environmental monitoring and remediation efforts. Here, we report syntheses and characterization of Np(iv), Pu(iv) and Am(iii) complexes with N-tert-butyl-N-(pyridin-2-yl)hydroxylaminato, [2-(tBuNO)py]−(interchangeable hereafter with [(tBuNO)py]−), a ligand which was previously found to impart remarkable stability to cerium in the +4 oxidation state. An[(tBuNO)py]4 (An = Pu, 1; Np, 2) have been synthesized, characterized by X-ray diffraction, X-ray absorption, 1H NMR and UV-vis-NIR spectroscopies, and cyclic voltammetry, along with computational modeling and analysis. In the case of Pu, oxidation of Pu(iii) to Pu(iv) was observed upon complexation with the [(tBuNO)py]− ligand. The Pu complex 1 and Np complex 2 were also isolated directly from Pu(iv) and Np(iv) precursors. Electrochemical measurements indicate that a Pu(iii) species can be accessed upon one-electron reduction of 1 with a large negative reduction potential (E1/2 = −2.26 V vs. Fc+/0). Applying oxidation potentials to 1 and 2 resulted in ligand-centered electron transfer reactions, which is different from the previously reported redox chemistry of UIV[(tBuNO)py]4 that revealed a stable U(v) product. Treatment of an anhydrous Am(iii) precursor with the [(tBuNO)py]− ligand did not result in oxidation to Am(iv). Instead, the dimeric complex [AmIII(μ2-(tBuNO)py)((tBuNO)py)2]2 (3) was isolated. Complex 3 is a rare example of a structurally characterized non-aqueous Am-containing molecular complex prepared using inert atmosphere techniques. Predicted redox potentials from density functional theory calculations show a trivalent accessibility trend of U(iii) < Np(iii) < Pu(iii) and that the higher oxidation states of actinides (i.e., +5 for Np and Pu and +4 for Am) are not stabilized by [2-(tBuNO)py]−, in good agreement with experimental observations.The coordination modes and electronic properties of a strongly coordinating hydroxylaminato ligand with Np, Pu and Am were investigated.Complexes were characterized by a range of experimental and computational techniques. 相似文献

On the basis of the earlier examples of diazopyruvoyl (DAP) groups reported by Lawton for covalent binding and cross-linking of proteins and oligopeptides and our recent demonstration that a coumaryl diazopyruvamide was used to label Type-I collagen, we have extended our investigations to the synthesis and cross-linking capabilities of a bis-DAP polyethylene glycol to cross-link Type-I collagen. The new photoactivated cross-linking agent, N,N'-bis(3-diazopyruvoyl)-2,2'-(ethylenedioxy)bis(ethylamine) (DPD, 2), has been designed and synthesized specifically to "weld" collagenous tissues by cross-linking Type-I collagen. A working model for the photochemical welding studies of collagenous tissues was developed using gelatin strips (gel strips) composed of denatured Type-I collagen. Gel strips are transparent to near-UV and visible light, uniform in thickness, and have reproducible composition. Furthermore, the availability of nucleophilic amine sites in gel strips was demonstrated by reaction with o-phthalaldehyde, producing a fluorescent derivative of the protein. Gel strips were coated with a solution of DPD in chloroform 7 irradiated at 320-390 nm, and the resulting bonded gel strips were tested for the strength of the weld. The welds were generally brittle and had average tensile strengths that exceeded 100 N/cm2. Welds were not formed in the absence of light or DPD. Scanning electron microscopy studies revealed a pockmarked surface from severed welds. Welds of rabbit Achilles tendon were also obtained using the tethered diazopyruvamide. These welds were much weaker, having an average tensile strength of 11.95 N/cm2 for DPD-2,2'-ethylenedioxy(bis)ethylamine comonomers in the cross-linking reaction. In an attempt to crystallize Ce[ReO4]4 · xH2O from aqueous solutions of equimolar amounts of Ce[SO4]2 and Ba[ReO4]2 via salt‐metathesis the serendipitous formation of colorless, transparent, rod‐shaped single crystals of CaNa[ReO4]3 was observed as a result of calcium and sodium impurities within the improperly deionized water used. Structure analysis by X‐ray diffraction lead to the conclusion that the title compound crystallizes in the ThCd[MoO4]3 structure type with the hexagonal space group P63/m and the lattice parameters a = 991.74(6) pm, c = 636.53(4) pm, c/a = 0.642 for Z = 2. The crystal structure contains purely oxygen surrounded and crystallographically unique cations, namely Ca2+ in tricapped trigonal prismatic (d(Ca–O) = 6 × 249 pm + 3 × 254 pm), Na+ in octahedral (d(Na–O) = 6 × 241 pm), and Re7+ in tetrahedral coordination (d(Re–O) = 171–173 pm). Furthermore, it was possible to yield an almost phase‐pure microcrystalline powder of the title compound from a melt of equimolar amounts of Na[ReO4] and Ca[ReO4]2 stemming from aquatically obtained precursors. 相似文献

The design of a synthetic route to a class of enantiomerically pure phosphaalkene-oxazolines (PhAk-Ox) is presented. The condensation of a lithium silylphosphide and a ketone (the phospha-Peterson reaction) was used as the P=C bond-forming step. Attempted condensation of PhC(=O)Ox (Ox = CNOCH(iPr)CH(2)) and MesP(SiMe(3))Li gave the unusual heterocycle (MesP)(2)C(Ph)=CN-(S)-CH(iPr)CH(2)O (3). However, PhAk-Ox (S,E)-MesP=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?a) was successfully prepared by treating MesP(SiMe(3))Li with PhC(=O)CMe(2)Ox (52?%). To demonstrate the modularity and tunability of the phospha-Peterson synthesis several other phosphaalkene-oxazolines were prepared in an analogous manner to 1?a: TripP=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?b; Trip = 2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl), 2-iPrC(6)H(4)P=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?c), 2-tBuC(6)H(4)P=C(Ph)CMe(2)Ox (1?d), MesP=C(4-MeOC(6)H(4))CMe(2)Ox (1?e), MesP=C(Ph)C(CH(2))(4)Ox (1?f), and MesP=C(3,5-(CF(3))(2)C(6)H(3))C(CH(2))(4)Ox (1?g). To evaluate the PhAk-Ox compounds as prospective precursors to chiral phosphine polymers, monomer 1?a and styrene were subjected to radical-initiated copolymerization conditions to afford [{MesPC(Ph)(CMe(2)Ox)}(x){CH(2)CHPh}(y)](n) (9?a: x = 0.13n, y = 0.87n; GPC: M(w) = 7400?g mol(-1) , PDI = 1.15). 相似文献

The major octabromo isomer of technical octabromo diphenyl ether mixture (technical octaBDE) DE-79 was isolated by RP-HPLC. Three serially coupled columns (each 250 mm long) enabled a good separation of the target compound from other congeners using 100% ACN as eluent. Approximately 100 microg of the target compound was isolated with a purity of >90% and investigated by MS for confirmation of the degree of bromination. 1H-NMR and 2-D 1H-13C correlation NMR spectra unequivocally clarified that the octaBDE in question is 2,2',3,3',4,4',6,6'-octabromodiphenyl ether (BDE 197). Based on annual production rates of technical BDE products (1999/2001), approximately 380 tons of BDE 197 were annually produced which, on the long term, may enter the environment. Compared with other individual BDE congeners, BDE 197 has the seventh highest application rate. Reductive debromination of BDE 197 can lead to four hepta-, 15 hexa-, 23 penta-, and 28 tetra-BDE isomers, respectively. This variety includes all known major BDEs of environmental concern (BDE 47, 85, 99, 100, 153, 154, and 183). The identification of BDE 197 in technical octaBDE DE-79 strongly suggests that research on the environmental fate of BDEs should include this key-BDE congener. 相似文献
