The reactions of arenediazomolybdenum(II) complexes such as [(η-C5H5)Mo(N2C6H4CH3-p)I2]2, (η-C5H5)Mo(CO species with neutral and anionic monodentate or chelating ligands have been investigated. The new arenediazo complexes isolated from these reactions include neutral species such as (η-C5H5)Mo(PPh3)(N2C6H4CH3-p)I2 and (η-C5H5)Mo(N2C6H4CH3-p) cations of the type [η-C5H5)Mo(bipy)(N2C6H4CH3-p)I]+ and the anion [(η-C5H5)Mo(N2C6H4CH3-p)I3]?. We report a new method for preparation of hydroxyacids as precursors of benzolactones using a simple and an efficient electrochemical step. This gives in only four steps six- to eleven-membered lactones with high isolated yields from conveniently substituted aryl bromides. Doubly vibrationally enhanced (DOVE) resonances have been observed in the infrared four-wave mixing (IRFWM) spectra of crotononitrile. The 2D DOVE-FWM spectra of the cis and trans isomers of crotononitrile showed cross peaks between the CN stretching fundamental and the CN + C=C stretch and the CN + C-C stretch combination bands for each of the two isomers that were observed, demonstrating the isomer selectivity of DOVE-IRFWM. Frequency-domain simulations were able to reproduce the features of the observed spectra, so the values for the nonlinearity and dephasing rates of all of the nonlinear processes could be measured. The results are compared to the calculations of the third-order susceptibility based on the transition moments, line positions, and line widths observed in the infrared absorption and the Raman spectra of crotononitrile. 相似文献

Results are reported on the reaction at six lab momenta spanning the region from 0.686 to 1.098 GeV/c. The cross section for this process drops from 5.2 ± 0.4 mb at 0.686 GeV/c to 2.9 ± 0.2 mb at 1.098 GeV/c. Resonance production is determined by means of a model which includes Bose symmetrization and Breit-Wigner amplitudes. The likelihood fit to the resonance channels yields a few per cent ?ππ, approximately 10% in each of the channels fππ, ??, and A2π, and about 40% ?f production, with errors on the order of 5%. Excellent fits to the mass distributions are obtained. Essentially all production and decay angular distributions are found to be uniform, with only a few small deviations from isotropy reported. The angular correlations between like and unlike charged pion pairs are also found to be fit extremely well by the simple model of resonance production with Bose symmetrization. 相似文献

A comparison of the thermal decomposition and combustion characteristics of raw and scoured cottons has demonstrated a mechanistic link caused by the presence of inorganic salts in raw cotton, which enhances resistance to heat and flame. Thermogravimetry, differential thermogravimetry, and microscale combustion calorimetry were used to examine the thermal decomposition kinetics and thermal stability of cotton. During pyrolysis, both raw cotton nonwoven and woven fabrics exhibited a slower decomposition with a larger initial weight loss and produced a greater char yield, as compared to the fabrics after scouring, which removes most inorganic components from cotton. The activation energy (E a ) values, calculated using the Kissinger method, the Flynn–Wall–Ozawa method, and the modified Coats–Redfern method, were consistently determined to be smaller for raw cotton than for scoured cotton. The analyses of cotton fabrics heated at elevated temperatures by 13C CP/MAS NMR and ATR-FTIR showed that trace quantities of inorganic components promoted the formations of oxygenated moieties at low temperatures and aliphatic intermediate char. In the combustion, raw cotton exhibited a much smaller heat release capacity and a smaller total heat release than scoured cotton, indicating enhanced thermal stability when the inorganic components are intact. 相似文献

Scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM) has been used to investigate the structure formed on an α-Fe2O3(0001) substrate after argon ion bombardment and annealing in 1 × 10−6 mbar of O2 at 1000 K. The STM images recorded at positive sample bias reveal an hexagonal array, with a distance between (Fe) atoms of 6.0 ± 0.1 rA and steps in multiples of 4.8 Å. These results are consistent with formation of an Fe3O4(111) epitaxial layer terminating in a
