A hybrid active noise reduction (ANR) architecture is presented and validated for a circumaural earcup and a communication earplug. The hybrid system combines source-independent feedback ANR with a Lyapunov-tuned leaky LMS filter (LyLMS) improving gain stability margins over feedforward ANR alone. In flat plate testing, the earcup demonstrates an overall C-weighted total noise reduction of 40 dB and 30-32 dB, respectively, for 50-800 Hz sum-of-tones noise and for aircraft or helicopter cockpit noise, improving low frequency (<100 Hz) performance by up to 15 dB over either control component acting individually. For the earplug, a filtered-X implementation of the LyLMS accommodates its nonconstant cancellation path gain. A fast time-domain identification method provides a high-fidelity, computationally efficient, infinite impulse response cancellation path model, which is used for both the filtered-X implementation and communication feedthrough. Insertion loss measurements made with a manikin show overall C-weighted total noise reduction provided by the ANR earplug of 46-48 dB for sum-of-tones 80-2000 Hz and 40-41 dB from 63 to 3000 Hz for UH-60 helicopter noise, with negligible degradation in attenuation during speech communication. For both hearing protectors, a stability metric improves by a factor of 2 to several orders of magnitude through hybrid ANR.  相似文献

Assume that we observe a sample of size n composed of p-dimensional signals, each signal having independent entries drawn from a scaled Poisson distribution with an unknown intensity. We are interested in estimating the sum of the n unknown intensity vectors, under the assumption that most of them coincide with a given “background” signal. The number s of p-dimensional signals different from the background signal plays the role of sparsity and the goal is to leverage this sparsity assumption in order to improve the quality of estimation as compared to the naive estimator that computes the sum of the observed signals. We first introduce the group hard thresholding estimator and analyze its mean squared error measured by the squared Euclidean norm. We establish a nonasymptotic upper bound showing that the risk is at most of the order of \(\sigma ^2(sp+s^2\sqrt{p}\log ^{3/2}(np))\). We then establish lower bounds on the minimax risk over a properly defined class of collections of s-sparse signals. These lower bounds match with the upper bound, up to logarithmic terms, when the dimension p is fixed or of larger order than \(s^2\). In the case where the dimension p increases but remains of smaller order than \(s^2\), our results show a gap between the lower and the upper bounds, which can be up to order \(\sqrt{p}\).  相似文献

Experiments on a VUV xenon excimer laser working at medium pressure (3–7 atm) are reported. Xenon gas was excited by an intense electron beam (550 keV, 13 kA, 20 ns) from a 520 Apex machine (S3). Dielectric mirror dammage of intracell cavity and gaz pollution were studied. At 6 atm, we obtained typically 10 MW, 10 ns pulse, with 4 nm spectral width and 1% medium efficiency. This value obtained at 6 atm instead of 12 atm (Hughes) is in agreement with our calculations from kinetics.  相似文献

A Pauli theory (Pauli equation and definition of probability current and density) for a particle in weak metric and arbitrary electromagnetic fields is treated. To formulate non-relativistic quantum mechanical problems in arbitrary electromagnetic fields and weak metrics (non-inertial systems, gravitational fields which are distant fields of arbitrary distribution of masses, gravitational waves) it is not necessary to make use of the general-relativistic Dirac equation. Close analogies to the known Pauli theory with electromagnetic fields exist. For different metric fields the corresponding Hamiltonians are given. For quantum systems (H-atoms) which are disturbed by a homogeneous gravitational field and a gravitational wave the resulting shift of energy levels and the transition probability is calculated.  相似文献

Structurally related dibenzo‐16‐crown‐5 lariat ethers with pendant ester and ether groups are prepared. Structural variations within the series of alkyl lariat ether esters include changes in the O‐alkyl group, attachment site and nature of the lipophilic group, and length of the spacer, which connects the ester group to the polyether framework. Also synthesized are bis(crown ether) diesters with two dibenzo‐16‐crown‐5 or two dicyclohexano‐16‐crown‐5 units and two ester groups connected to each other by a linker of varying length. Synthetic strategies for the preparation of these lariat ethers with pendant ester‐ and ether‐containing side arms are described.  相似文献

When using single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) probes to create AFM images of SWNT samples in tapping mode, elastic deformations of the probe and sample result in a decrease in the apparent width of the sample. Here we show that there are two major mechanisms for this effect, smooth gliding and snapping, and compare their dynamics to the case when a conventional silicon tip is used to image a bare silicon surface. Using atomistic and continuum simulations, we analyze in detail the shape of the tip-sample interaction potential for three model cases and show that in the absence of adhesion and friction forces, more than two discrete, physically meaningful solutions of the oscillation amplitude are possible when snapping occurs (in contrast to the existence of one attractive and one repulsive solution for conventional silicon AFM tips). We present experimental results indicating that a continuum of amplitude solutions is possible when using SWNT tips and explain this phenomenon with dynamic simulations that explicitly include tip-sample adhesion and friction forces. We also provide simulation results of SWNT tips imaging Si(111)-CH3 surface step edges and Au nanocrystals, which indicate that SWNT probe multistability may be a general phenomenon, not limited to SWNT samples.  相似文献

We have employed water-soluble porphyrin molecules [meso-(tetrakis-4-sulfonatophenyl) porphine dihydrochloride] to solubilize single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs), resulting in aqueous solutions that are stable for several weeks. The porphyrin-nanotube complexes have been characterized with absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy and with AFM. We find that the porphyrin/SWNT interaction is selective for the free base form, and that this interaction stabilizes the free base against protonation to the diacid. Under mildly acidic conditions nanotube-mediated J-aggregates form, which are unstable in solution and result in precipitation of the nanotubes over the course of a few days. Porphyrin-coated SWNTs can be precisely aligned on hydrophilic poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) surfaces by combing SWNT solution along a desired direction and then transferred to silicon substrates by stamping. Parallel SWNT patterns have been fabricated in this manner.  相似文献
