Internally consistent assignments of the 31P-{1H} NMR parameters of the complexes [Pt(RCCR′)(PPh3)2] are proposed, based on the premise that the magnitude of 1J(PtP) depends mainly on the nature of the moiety CR trans to P. For a given R, 2J(PP) correlates with 1J(PtP) for thebond trans to CR. The alkynes PhCCSnEt3, PhCCSnPh3, Me3SiCCCl, Me3SiCCBr, Et3SiCCI and MeCCI undergo oxidative addition reactions with [Pt(C2H4)(PPh3)2]; the intermediate alkyne complex was detected for PhCCSnEt3, Me3SiCCCl and Me3CCBr. The triyne Me(CC)3Me forms platinum(0) complexes by coordination with the central or terminal CC bond and appears also to give a platinum(II) complex by oxidative addition. 相似文献

Thermal oxidation of sulfur vulcanized polyisoprene samples was studied by gravimetry and IR mapping of carbonyl groups (to determine the oxidized layer thickness (TOL)) at temperatures ranging from 60 to 150 °C in air. Oxidation appears noticeably lower than that for the starting non-vulcanized polyisoprene, revealing a stabilizing effect of sulfur-containing species. After a short period where mass loss presumably due to water evaporation predominates, the sample mass increases until a plateau corresponding to 6.3% (at 60 °C) to 0.5% (at 140 °C) mass gain. Practically no weight gain (∼0.1%) was observed at 150 °C. The mass uptake is due to oxygen grafting to the chains. TOL varies from about 4.6 mm (70 °C) to about 1 mm (150 °C).A kinetic model, derived from a mechanistic scheme of radical chain oxidation including stabilizing events due to hydroperoxide reduction by sulfur-containing groups and taking into account the diffusion-reaction coupling, was established and numerically resolved. Thermodynamic and kinetic parameters have been established for the reaction between the carbon acid, 4-nitrophenylnitromethane,
(4-NPNM), and the base N’-n-propyl-N,N-di-n-propylbenzimidamide, (N’PDPBA), in mesitylene and in chlorobenzene. In some cases deuteron transfer from 4-(D2)NPNM to the base has also been studied. In addition, some results for the proton transfer reaction in tetrahydrofuran have

Three chiral 2,6-disubstituted tri-N-methyl azamacrocycles have been prepared by modular methods. These macrocycles were accessed from three chiral 1,4,7-triazaheptanes intermediates that were prepared by two independent routes. The first of these routes involved the benzylamine opening of chiral tosyl aziridines followed by debenzylation but was problematic on solubility grounds. Laser-ablated W atoms react with CH4 in excess argon to form the CH3-WH, CH2=WH2, and CH[triple bond]WH3 molecules with increasing yield in this order of product stability. These molecules are identified from matrix infrared spectra by isotopic substitution. Tungsten methylidene and methylidyne hydride molecules are reversibly interconverted by alpha-H transfers upon visible and ultraviolet irradiations. Matrix infrared spectra and DFT/B3LYP calculations show that CH[triple bond]WH3 is a stable molecule with C3v symmetry, but other levels of theory were required to describe agostic distortion for CH2=WH2. In recent years the need to standardize measurement protocols for quantifying the degree of ultraviolet radiation (UVR) protection provided by clothing has led to the introduction of a number of standards around the world. To date, these standards have specified spectral measurements of UVR transmission by clothing and fabrics. Development of a standard test method has become an important part of the testing process, and this article presents results from an intercomparison involving 10 independent testing laboratories and 11 different UVR transmission measurement instruments. In addition to comparing the measured ultraviolet protection factors (UPF), this intercomparison also incorporates detailed scan results from all 10 laboratories and highlights differences in performance of the various instruments in different wavelength regions. Careful examination of these differences can indicate where changes to the systems could be made to allow improvements both in equipment performance and in agreement of the final results. The variability in the measurements of UPF in this study suggest that the protection categories in standards may need to be broadened. 相似文献
