It is known that saturation magnetization of ferromagnetic nanoparticles and nanoclusters deviates strongly from the Bloch T ?3/2 law. To describe the deviation one usually uses a modified power law T α with a size dependent exponent α, which is motivated simply by its flexibility in fitting the observed behavior. By considering the Heisenberg spin model we derive an explicit expression in terms of a magnon gas which generalizes the Bloch formula to a finite size system. Comparison to the experimental data shows good agreement with the observed behavior and gives a better understanding of its physics.  相似文献

Singlet oxygen has been characterized spectroscopically as a product of the exposure of suspensions of zeolites containing oxidation catalysts. Spectroscopic and lifetime studies show that a part of the singlet oxygen formed reacts within the zeolite porous structure, while a significant fraction escapes and becomes available for reaction in the bulk media. The liquid phase plays a key role in determining intra- and extracavity dynamics.  相似文献

We investigate the kinetics of photodarkening and recording of holographic diffraction gratings in amorphous As4S3Se3 thin-film structures doped with tin (Sn) in concentrations of 0–10 at %. It is established that an increase in the Sn concentration leads to a decrease in the photodarkening rate and degree. The photodarkening kinetics is approximated by a stretched exponential function. It is found that an increase in the Sn concentration leads to a decrease in the transmission (photodarkening) variation in the investigated As4S3Se3–Sn films. It is determined that, in the recording of holographic diffraction gratings at a Sn concentration of 3–8 at %, the As4S3Se3–Sn films exhibit the maximum sensitivity and diffraction efficiency of the recorded gratings. It is shown that the dependence of diffraction efficiency on the As4S3Se3 film thickness has the maximum at a film thickness of 4 µm.  相似文献

The rotational molecular dynamics of water confined to layered oxide materials with brucite structure was studied by dielectric spectroscopy in the frequency range from 10(-2) to 10(7) Hz and in a broad temperature interval. The layered double hydroxide samples show one relaxation process, which was assigned to fluctuations of water molecules forming a layer, strongly adsorbed to the oxide surface. The temperature dependence of the relaxation rates has an unusual saddlelike shape characterized by a maximum. The model of Ryabov et al. (J. Phys. Chem. B 2001, 105, 1845) recently applied to describe the dynamics of water molecules in porous glasses is employed also for the layered materials. This model assumes two competing effects: rotational fluctuations of water molecules that take place simultaneously with defect formation, allowing the creation of free volume necessary for reorientation. The activation energy of rotational fluctuations, the energy of defect formation, a pre-exponential factor, and the defect concentration are obtained as main parameters from a fit of this model to the data. The values of these parameters were compared with those found for water confined to nanoporous molecular sieves, porous glasses, or bulk ice. Several correlations were discussed in detail, such as the lower the value of the energy of defect formation, the higher the number of defects. The pre-exponential factor increases with increasing activation energy, as an expression of the compensation law, and indicates the cooperative nature of the motional process. The involvement of the surface OH groups and of the oxygen atoms of the interlayer anions in the formation of hydrogen bonds was further discussed. For the birnessite sample, the relaxation processes are probably overlaid by a dominating conductivity contribution, which is analyzed in its frequency and temperature dependence. It is found that the conductivity of birnessite obeys the characteristics of semiconducting disordered materials. Especially the Barton/Nakajima/Namikawa relationship is fulfilled. Analyzing the temperature dependence of the direct current (dc) conductivity sigma0 in detail gives some hint that sigma0(T) has also an unusual saddlelike form.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to generalize the oligopolistic market equilibrium problems when the data depend on time. We present results regarding the existence of solutions to such problems. The novel 1,2-di(azulen-1-yl)cyclopent-1-ene 3 was conveniently synthesized via a two-step procedure involving Vilsmeier–Haack acylation of azulene with N,N,N′,N′-tetraethylglutaramide (TEGA) and POCl3, followed by an intramolecular McMurry coupling of the resulting diketone. In contrast with the previously reported (E)-1,2-di(azulen-1-yl)ethene that shows negligible fluorescence in the solid state, alkene 3 displays fluorescence emission from the S2 excited state of the azulene moieties. This compound easily polymerizes upon electrochemical oxidation, leading to the formation of a conducting polymer film at the electrode surface.  相似文献

By means of nuclear analyses the concentrations of Au, Ag, Cu, Ir, Os, Pt, Co and Hg were measured in the 12 artifacts of the gold hoard discovered in 1837 at Pietroasa, Buzäu county in Romania. The concentrations of the first four elements were used to compare different stylistic groups assumed by historians. Comparisons with gold nuggets from the old Dacian territory and gold Roman imperial coins were also made. A good agreement was found with the oldest hypothesis which considers that the hoard is represented by three styles appropriated mainly by the Goths.  相似文献

Twenty-one gold coins of koson type, considered to be the only kind of gold coins issued by Dacians, were analyzed using EDXRF and PAA methods. Three groups of coins of different compositions were found, corresponding to coins with simple monogram, complex monogram and no monogram. The gold of koson coins is not a natural one (electrum) from present Romania's territory, but is similar to the gold of pseudo-Lysimachan staters. Some possible historical conclusions are discussed.  相似文献

Several fragments of ancient gold objects coming from an Eneolithic hoard and from Pietroasa Cloca cu Puii de Aur (The Golden Brood Hen with Its Chickens) hoard, unearthed on Romanian territory, and two Romanian native gold nuggets samples were analyzed using micro-PIXE technique. The purpose of the study was to clarify the metal provenance. Trace and minor elements (Cu, Te, Sn, Pb, Ti, Cr, V, Mn, Ta) and platinum group elements (PGE) concentrations were estimated. The presence of inclusions (micrometer size areas of composition different from the surroundings) was investigated. We found Si and Ca inclusions on two Eneolithic samples, and Ta inclusions on two samples from Pietroasa hoard. The measurements suggested an alluvial origin of gold for the Eneolithic samples and give indications for the possible gold ore sources of Pietroasa hoard.  相似文献
