The asymmetric Friedel-Crafts alkylation of various indoles with a chiral nitroacrylate provides optically active β-tryptophan analogues after reduction of the nitro group and removal of the chiral auxiliary. This reaction generally occurs in good yield and high diastereoselectivity (up to 90:10).  相似文献

A library of 32 organoruthenium compounds has been synthesised. Known and novel C-N cyclometalated compounds as well as N-C-N and N-N-C pincer derivatives of this metal have been used in this purpose. Most of the compounds have been tested for their in vitro antitumoral behaviours, good to excellent activities have thus been found. Several of the newly synthesized compounds pass the symbolic barrier of the nanomolar range for their IC(50) indicating a critical improvement. The level of activity is tentatively correlated to physicochemical properties of the compounds such as their Ru(III/II) redox potential and their lipophilicity (log P).  相似文献

The family of the Jahn-Teller (JT) active hydrocarbon rings, C(n)H(n) (n = 5-7), was analyzed by the means of multideterminantal density functional theory (DFT) approach. The multimode problem was addressed using the intrinsic distortion path (IDP) method, in which the JT distortion is expressed as a linear combination of all totally symmetric normal modes in the low symmetry minimum energy conformation. Partitioning of the stabilization energy into the various physically meaningful terms arising from Kohn-Sham DFT has been performed to get further chemical insight into the coupling of the nuclear movements and the electron distribution.  相似文献

A hardwood bleached kraft pulp was oxidized by sodium hypochlorite using 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl radical (TEMPO) and sodium bromide in water as catalysts to produce oxidized fibers. These oxidized fibers were mechanically disintegrated into oxidized nano-elements which were separated from the coarse components by centrifugation to obtain oxidized nanocellulose (ONC). The ONC was then coupled with fluorescent amino acids using a two step coupling procedure. First, the ONC was activated by N-ethyl-N′-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide hydrochloride, forming a stable active ester in the presence of N-hydroxysuccinimide. Second, the active ester was reacted with the amino groups on the amino acids, forming an amide bond between the ONC and amino acids. The products (ONC-amino acids) were characterized by transmission electron microscopy and by different spectroscopic techniques such as absorption, emission, FTIR and XPS.  相似文献

A bead-probe lateral force microscopy (LFM) technique is used to characterize the interfacial friction and adhesion properties of polymer brushes. Our measurements attempt to relate the physical structure and chemical characteristics of the brush to their properties as thin-film, tethered lubricants. Brushes are synthesized at several chain lengths and surface coverages from polymer chains of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), polystyrene (PS), and a poly(propylene glycol)-poly(ethylene glycol) block copolymer (PPG/PEG). At high surface coverage, PDMS brushes manifest friction coefficients (COFs) that are among the lowest recorded for a dry lubricant film (μ ≈ 0.0024) and close to 1 order of magnitude lower than the COF of a bare silicon surface. Brushes synthesized from higher molar mass chains exhibit higher friction forces than those created using lower molar mass polymers. Increased grafting density of chains in the brush significantly reduces the COF by creating a uniform surface of stretched chains with a decreased surface viscosity. Brushes with lower surface tension and interfacial shear stresses manifest the lowest COF. In particular, PDMS chains exhibit COFs lower than PS by a factor of 3.7 and lower than PPG/PEG by a factor of 4.7. A scaling analysis conducted on the surface coverage (σ) in relation to the fraction (ε) of the friction force developing from adhesion predicts a universal relation ε ~ σ(4/3), which is supported by our experimental data.  相似文献

Copper complexes with a cyclic D‐His‐β‐Ala‐L‐His‐L‐Lys and all‐L‐His‐β‐Ala‐His‐Lys peptides were generated by electrospray which were doubly charged ions that had different formal oxidation states of Cu(I), Cu(II) and Cu(III) and different protonation states of the peptide ligands. Electron capture dissociation showed no substantial differences between the D‐His and L‐His complexes. All complexes underwent peptide cross‐ring cleavages upon electron capture. The modes of ring cleavage depended on the formal oxidation state of the Cu ion and peptide protonation. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations, using the B3LYP with an effective core potential at Cu and M06‐2X functionals, identified several precursor ion structures in which the Cu ion was threecoordinated to pentacoordinated by the His and Lys side‐chain groups and the peptide amide or enolimine groups. The electronic structure of the formally Cu(III) complexes pointed to an effective Cu(I) oxidation state with the other charge residing in the peptide ligand. The relative energies of isomeric complexes of the [Cu(c‐HAHK + H)]2+ and [Cu(c‐HAHK ? H)]2+ type with closed electronic shells followed similar orders when treated by the B3LYP and M06‐2X functionals. Large differences between relative energies calculated by these methods were obtained for open‐shell complexes of the [Cu(c‐HAHK)]2+ type. Charge reduction resulted in lowering the coordination numbers for some Cu complexes that depended on the singlet or triplet spin state being formed. For [Cu(c‐HAHK ? H)]2+ complexes, solution H/D exchange involved only the N–H protons, resulting in the exchange of up to seven protons, as established by ultra‐high mass resolution measurements. Contrasting the experiments, DFT calculations found the lowest energy structures for the gas‐phase ions that were deprotonated at the peptide Cα positions. Piperazine-2,5-diones are formed by Dieckmann cyclization (NaH, THF) of substructures of the type CH(2)-N(R)C(O)CH(2)N(R')CO(2)Ph in which the terminal methylene (CH(2)) that is adjacent to nitrogen closes onto the carbonyl group of the phenyl carbamate unit at the other end of the chain. R and R' are alkyl groups, and the terminal methylene is activated by a ketone carbonyl, a nitrile, an ester, or a phosphoryl group. The starting materials are assembled by standard acylation and oxidation processes, starting from a β-(alkylamino)alcohol, an (alkylamino)acetonitrile, an (alkylamino) ester, or an (alkylamino)methyl phosphonate.  相似文献

Novel zinc porphyrin tweezers in which two zinc porphyrins were connected with π-conjugated boron dipyrromethenes (BDP meso-Por(2) and BDP β-Por(2)) through triazole rings were synthesized to investigate the photoinduced energy transfer and electron transfer. The UV-vis spectrum of BDP β-Por(2) which has less bulky substituents than BDP meso-Por(2) exhibits splitting of the Soret band as a result of the interaction between porphyrins of BDP β-Por(2) in the excited state. Such interaction between porphyrins of both BDP β-Por(2) and BDP meso-Por(2) is dominant at room temperature, while the coordination of the nitrogen atoms of the triazole rings to the zinc ions of the porphyrins occurs at low temperature. The conformational change of the BDP-porphyrin composites was confirmed by the changes in UV-vis and fluorescence spectra depending on temperature. Photodynamics of BDP meso-Por(2) and BDP β-Por(2) has also been investigated by laser flash photolysis. Efficient singlet-singlet energy transfer from the ZnP to the π-conjugated BDP moiety of both BDP meso-Por(2) and BDP β-Por(2) occurred in opposite direction as compared to energy transfer from conventional BDP to ZnP due to the π-conjugation in nonpolar toluene. In polar benzonitrile, however, additional electron transfer occurred along with energy transfer.  相似文献
