CuO/ZnO nanocomposites were synthesized on Al2O3 substrates by a hybrid plasma‐assisted approach, combining the initial growth of ZnO columnar arrays by plasma‐enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PE‐CVD) and subsequent radio frequency (RF) sputtering of copper, followed by final annealing in air. Chemical, morphological, and structural analyses revealed the formation of high‐purity nanosystems, characterized by a controllable dispersion of CuO particles into ZnO matrices. The high surface‐to‐volume ratio of the obtained materials, along with intimate CuO/ZnO intermixing, resulted in the efficient detection of various oxidizing and reducing gases (such as O3, CH3CH2OH, and H2). The obtained data are critically discussed and interrelated with the chemical and physical properties of the nanocomposites.  相似文献

The electrochemical behaviour of a material obtained by moulding graphitized carbon black and polyethylene at 100–150°C is described. The material can be used as a pellet electrode in voltammetric procedures. As a tubular anode held in a teflon body, the material is valuable as a sensor for high-performance liquid chromatography. Its properties are comparable with those of glassy carbon with better signal-to-noise ratios. It is applied for the determination of several phenols, chlorophenols and hydroquinone in the low mg l?1 range or less.  相似文献

A wide variety of metabolic products of polyunsaturated fatty acids is of paramount importance for improving our medical knowledge in the field of oxidized lipids. Two novel metabolites of n‐3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, 8‐F3t‐IsoP and 10‐F4t‐NeuroP as well as a deuterated derivative thereof were synthesized based on an acetylenic intermediate. An original approach achieved lateral chain insertion of 8‐F3t‐IsoP by a ring‐closing alkyne metathesis/semi‐reduction strategy together with a temporary tether.  相似文献

The reactivity of 2‐(2‐alkynylphenoxy)anilines under PdI2/KI‐catalyzed oxidative carbonylation conditions has been studied. Although a different reaction pathway could have been operating, N‐palladation followed by CO insertion was the favored pathway with all substrates tested, including those containing an internal or terminal triple bond. This led to the formation of a carbamoylpalladium species, the fate of which, as predicted by theoretical calculations, strongly depended on the nature of the substituent on the triple bond. In particular, 8‐endo‐dig cyclization preferentially occurred when the triple bond was terminal, leading to the formation of carbonylated ζ‐lactam derivatives, the structures of which have been confirmed by XRD analysis. These novel medium‐sized heterocyclic compounds showed antitumor activity against both estrogen receptor‐positive (MCF‐7) and triple negative (MDA‐MB‐231) breast cancer cell lines. In particular, ζ‐lactam 3 j′ may represent a novel and promising antitumor agent because biological tests clearly demonstrate that this compound significantly reduces cell viability and motility in both MCF‐7 and MDA‐MB‐231 breast cancer cell lines, without affecting normal breast epithelial cell viability.  相似文献

Sterically congested adamantylideneadamantanes (1b-g) (X = Br, Cl, F, OH, OEt, OCOCH(3)), homoallylically substituted with equatorial groups (X), react with bromine in 1,2-dichloroethane to give a stable bromonium ion intermediate or a substitution product depending on the nature of the substituent and on the bromine concentration. The nature of the substituent markedly affects the formation constant of the 1:1 pi-complexes, as well as of the formation constant and reactivity of bromonium ion intermediates. The different reactivity of the ionic intermediates, which depends on the nature of substituents, is attributed to bromonium or bromocarbenium character of the intermediate, with the support of theoretical investigations. Ab initio calculations on 1:1 adamatylideneadamantane-Br(2) complexes (2a-f) show that the substituent affects the stability of these species through electrostatic and dispersion effects. Solvent effects may also contribute to modulate the relative stability of these species.  相似文献

Different nitronaphthylbutadienes have been previously proved to have antitumour activity. The main drawback of these derivatives is their low water solubility. With the aim of facilitating the administration of these new drugs we have synthesized the hexyl (2Z,4E)-2-methylsulfanyl-5-(1-naphthyl)-4-nitro-2,4-pentadienoate analogue (1-Naph-NHCB) which is demonstrated to be easily included into cyclodextrins and/or entrapped into liposomes. Its antitumour activity was revealed to be almost comparable with that of the previously studied methyl analogue ester (1-Naph-NMCB). On the other hand, in vitro studies with different cancer cell lines showed that the cytotoxic activity of both 1-Naph-NMCB and 1-Naph-NHCB were fully preserved and in some cases also enhanced when entrapped into liposomal carriers.  相似文献

New kinds of coatings by using polyethylene glycols were studied and were applied to a qualitative homogeneous immunoassay that exploits the agglutination reaction for the detection of autoimmune antibodies in a complex matrix. We used a piece of new technology, the Copalis, which uses a special optical-sizing flow particle analysis and a semiconductor laser as a light source.

Polystyrene microbeads coated with the antigen were used as markers and were put in contact with the serum sample. Different polyethylene glycols were synthesised and tested, optimising the experimental parameters. Human serum specimens were evaluated and we obtained a higher sensitivity with good discrimination between negative and positive samples. All the experimental steps are easy, rapid and enable us to process many samples in a short period of time.  相似文献

A series of 24 compounds of general formula R(1)S-Hg-SR(2), R(1) and R(2) being biologically relevant thiol-containing amino acids and peptides (cysteine, homo-cysteine, penicillamine, N-acetyl-cysteine, N-acetyl-penicillamine, cysteinyl-glycine, gamma-glutamyl-cysteine and glutathione) were prepared by direct reaction of mercury(II) ions and thiols in water at millimolar concentration. The obtained products were characterized by electrospray ionization and triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry. The source spectra of equimolar mixtures of two different thiols reacting with a stoichiometric amount of mercury(II) show the peak clusters of the three theoretically expected bis-thiolato-mercury(II) complexes with relative intensities close to the theoretically expected 1:2:1 ratio, thus pointing at lack of substantial discrimination between the different thiols, the only observed exception being homo-cysteine, which is less reactive than cysteine and penicillamine. The fragment spectra are structure-specific for the different ligands bound to the metal ion and allow a stand-alone discrimination of some constitutional isomer pairs. Among the peculiar fragmentation processes observed, loss of neutral ammonia from protonated symmetrical and unsymmetrical mercury(II)-bis-thiolates with free, protonizable amino groups leads to the formation of thiirane-carboxylic bound species; this process is suppressed when the protonated amino group is in the gamma-position with respect to the sulfur atom, as in the case of compounds with homo-cysteine. This unusual behavior may hint at unforeseen mechanisms for the interaction of mercury(II) with biological structures, ultimately leading to cellular and organ toxicity. Compounds with N-acetylated amino acids show distinctive fragment ions to which the connectivity of a protonated 2-methyl-oxazoline-5-carboxylic acid may be proposed on the basis of the loss of water and of the elements of formic acid. Finally, the adducts of mercury(II) with glutathione and gamma-glutamyl-cysteine feature a distinctive decomposition channel by loss of a pyroglutamic unit, much the same as protonated glutathione, glutathione disulfide, the S-glutathionyl adducts of biologically occurring electrophiles and other (pseudo)-peptides with gamma-glutamyl bonds.  相似文献
