The deuteriodifluoromethyl group (CF2D) represents a challenging functional group due to difficult deuterium incorporation and unavailability of precursor reagents. Herein, we report the use of chlorodifluoromethane (ClCF2H) gas in the continuous flow deuteriodifluoromethylation and gem‐difluoroalkenylation of aldehydes. Mechanistic studies revealed that the difluorinated oxaphosphetane (OPA) intermediate can proceed via alkaline hydrolysis in the presence of D2O to provide α‐deuteriodifluoromethylated benzyl alcohols or undergo a retro [2+2] cycloaddition under thermal conditions to provide the gem‐difluoroalkenylated product. 相似文献

Like silicon, single crystals of organic semiconductors are pursued to attain intrinsic charge transport properties. However, they are intolerant to mechanical deformation, impeding their application in flexible electronic devices. Such contradictory properties, namely exceptional molecular ordering and mechanical flexibility, are unified in this work. We found that bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)pentacene (TIPS‐P) crystals can undergo mechanically induced structural transitions to exhibit superelasticity and ferroelasticity. These properties arise from cooperative and correlated molecular displacements and rotations in response to mechanical stress. By utilizing a bending‐induced ferroelastic transition of TIPS‐P, flexible single‐crystal electronic devices were obtained that can tolerate strains (?) of more than 13 % while maintaining the charge carrier mobility of unstrained crystals (μ>0.7 μ0). Our work will pave the way for high‐performance ultraflexible single‐crystal organic electronics for sensors, memories, and robotic applications. 相似文献

Gastrin‐releasing peptide receptor (GRPr) plays proliferative and inflammatory roles in living systems. Here, we report a highly selective GRPr antagonist (JMV594)‐tethered iridium(III) complex for probing GRPr in living cancer cells and immune cells. This probe exhibited desirable photophysical properties and also displayed negligible cytotoxicity, overcoming the inherent toxicity of the iridium(III) complex. Its long emission lifetime enabled its luminescence signal to be readily distinguished from the interfering fluorescence of organic dyes by using a time‐resolved technique. This probe selectively visualized living cancer cells via specific binding to GRPr, while it also modulated the function of GRPr on TNF‐α secretion in immune cells. To our knowledge, this is the first peptide‐conjugated iridium(III) complex developed as a GRPr bioimaging probe and modulator of GRPr activity. This theranostic agent shows great potential at unmasking the diverse roles of GRPr in living systems. 相似文献

Metal nanoprobes have recently attracted board research interestinr their application in establishing sensing systems due to their unique optical, electrical, physical, and chemical properties. In comparison to gold and silver nanoprobes, analytical platform based on copper nanoprobes (Cu‐NPs) is still in the early stages of development. In this review, we focus on single‐stranded, and double‐stranded DNA capped Cu‐NPs sensing systems which have been designed for various analytes, including metal ions, anions, small molecules, biomolecules (DNA, RNA, and protein, etc.). Despite growing evidence of the relevance of alternative splicing (AS) to cancer development and progression, the biological implications of AS for tumor behaviors, including papillary thyroid cancer (PTC), remain elusive. With the aim of further understanding the molecular and histological subtypes of PTC, we in this study explored whether AS events might act as new molecular determinants. For this purpose, AS profiles were analyzed in RNA-sequencing data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and from a Korean patient dataset. A total of 23 distinct exon-skipping (ES) events that correlated significantly with PTC oncogenic activity and differentiation scores were identified. The two top-ranked ES events, NUMA1_17515 in exon 18 of NUMA1 and TUBB3_38175 in exon 6 of TUBB3, showed high correlations with oncogenic activities and discriminated histological and molecular subtypes of PTC. Furthermore, two novel intron-retention (IR) events for TUBB3 were uncovered. All ES and IR events for the TUBB3 gene were predicted to induce nonsense-mediated mRNA decay. The relative abundances of intron reads in the PTC dataset from TCGA showed IR levels to differ significantly among PTC subtypes, possibly reflecting their different tumor behaviors. This study provides a landscape of AS changes among PTC subtypes and identified two significant AS events, NUMA1_17515 and TUBB3_38175, as potential AS biomarkers for PTC subclassification and characterization. Lithium–sulfur batteries have great potential as next-generation energy-storage devices because of their high theoretical charge-storage capacity and the low cost of the sulfur cathode. To accelerate the development of lithium–sulfur technology, it is necessary to address the intrinsic material and extrinsic technological challenges brought about by the insulating active solid-state materials and the soluble active liquid-state materials. Herein, we report a systematic investigation of module-designed carbon-coated separators, where the carbon coating layer on the polypropylene membrane decreases the irreversible loss of dissolved polysulfides and increases the reaction kinetics of the high-loading sulfur cathode. Eight different conductive carbon coatings were considered to investigate how the materials’ characteristics contribute to the lithium–sulfur cell’s cathode performance. The cell with a nonporous-carbon-coated separator delivered an optimized peak capacity of 1112 mA∙h g−1 at a cycling rate of C/10 and retained a high reversible capacity of 710 mA∙h g−1 after 200 cycles under lean-electrolyte conditions. Moreover, we demonstrate the practical high specific capacity of the cathode and its commercial potential, achieving high sulfur loading and content of 4.0 mg cm−2 and 70 wt%, respectively, and attaining high areal and gravimetric capacities of 4.45 mA∙h cm−2 and 778 mA∙h g−1, respectively. 相似文献

Object detection is a significant activity in computer vision, and various approaches have been proposed to detect varied objects using deep neural networks (DNNs). However, because DNNs are computation-intensive, it is difficult to apply them to resource-constrained devices. Here, we propose an on-device object detection method using domain-specific models. In the proposed method, we define object of interest (OOI) groups that contain objects with a high frequency of appearance in specific domains. Compared with the existing DNN model, the layers of the domain-specific models are shallower and narrower, reducing the number of trainable parameters; thus, speeding up the object detection. To ensure a lightweight network design, we combine various network structures to obtain the best-performing lightweight detection model. The experimental results reveal that the size of the proposed lightweight model is 21.7 MB, which is 91.35% and 36.98% smaller than those of YOLOv3-SPP and Tiny-YOLO, respectively. The f-measure achieved on the MS COCO 2017 dataset were 18.3%, 11.9% and 20.3% higher than those of YOLOv3-SPP, Tiny-YOLO and YOLO-Nano, respectively. The results demonstrated that the lightweight model achieved higher efficiency and better performance on non-GPU devices, such as mobile devices and embedded boards, than conventional models. 相似文献

The majority of investigations carried out on polymer(SINGLEBOND) salt systems have been on polyether electrolytes at moderate temperatures where such electrolytes exhibit macroscopic uniformity. Relatively little attention has been paid to the subambient temperature region where composite electrolytes based on polyethers exhibit much higher conductivities than their pure polyether electrolyte analogues. For all of the composite systems studied the conduction mechanism changes from one in which the ions are coupled to the polymer segmental relaxations to one in which the ions are decoupled and thermally activated ionic hopping produces higher conductivities than would be expected from ion-segmental coupling and higher than observed for the base polyether(SINGLEBOND) salt system. This change has been observed at temperatures between 10 and 80°C above the respective glass transition temperatures. The relationship between this interaction and these higher conductivities at subambient temperatures is explored and discussed. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献
