Ease of generation , stablity in solution at ambient temperature, high enantioselectivity in Diels–Alder reactions, efficient catalyst recovery, and large rate differences on variation of the anion are all characteristics of the new Ru Lewis acid [CpRu((S,S)-biphop-F)]+ (biphop-F=(C6F5)2POCH2(Ph)CH2(Ph)OP(C6F5)2). The structure of complex 1 (L=methacrolein, Y=SbF6) provides evidence for a cooperative binding of the dienophile by both the Lewis acid and the anion.  相似文献

Two samples of fosfomycin salts, the calcium and the disodium ones, were used to record their NMR spectra both in solution and in the solid state. The existence of fosfomycin in a neutral and two ionized structures (mono and dianion) was considered to interpret the spectra that were solved using the GIAO calculated chemical shifts of the minimum energy conformations. Although the starting materials were dianions, the spectra in solution show the presence of monoanions.  相似文献

The objective of this work was to investigate the ability of supercritical (SC) ethanol conditions to attack preferentially the lignin fraction against the carbohydrate fraction and their effects on the product distribution among gases, light products, bio-oils, and chars. In this study, the conversion of each pinewood component was determined by the analysis of solid residues to quantify cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, and char contents. It is shown that, by tuning the temperature, hemicellulose and lignin are already transformed in subcritical ethanol conditions, lignin being more reactive than hemicellulose. In contrast, native wood cellulose is recalcitrant to liquefaction in SC ethanol near the critical point (Tc = 241 °C and Pc = 61 bar), but 20% of native wood cellulose is converted in SC ethanol at 280 °C. Besides, the severity of the conditions, in terms of temperature and treatment time, does not significantly influence the yields of gases, light products, and bio-oils but strongly enhances char formation. Interestingly, the increase in SC ethanol density does not change the conversion of biomass components but has a marked effect on bio-oil yield and prevents char formation. The optimum fractionation conditions to convert the lignin component, while keeping unattacked the cellulose fraction with a minimum formation of char, are dense SC ethanol, at 250 °C for 1 h, in batch conditions. However, although lignin is more reactive than hemicellulose under these conditions, these fractions are converted, in a parallel way, to around 50% and 60%, respectively.  相似文献

The reaction between a preassembled CuI bimetallic molecular clip with a short intermetallic distance and a series of fully aliphatic cyano‐capped ditopic linkers with increasing lengths was investigated. It is shown that, depending on the length of the ditopic linkers, the rational design of unprecedented supramolecular compact metallacycles containing fully aliphatic walls is possible. The specific preorganized molecular arrangement of the molecular clip used favors stabilizing interlinker London dispersion interactions, which allow, as the length of the linkers increases, the selective formation of discrete compact metallacycles at the expense of 1D coordination polymers. The generalizability of this approach was demonstrated by the reaction of fully aliphatic cyano‐capped linkers with two other types of preassembled CuI bimetallic molecular clips that also had short intermetallic distances.  相似文献

A large German research consortium mainly within the Max Planck Society (“MaxSynBio”) was formed to investigate living systems from a fundamental perspective. The research program of MaxSynBio relies solely on the bottom‐up approach to synthetic biology. MaxSynBio focuses on the detailed analysis and understanding of essential processes of life through modular reconstitution in minimal synthetic systems. The ultimate goal is to construct a basic living unit entirely from non‐living components. The fundamental insights gained from the activities in MaxSynBio could eventually be utilized for establishing a new generation of biotechnological processes, which would be based on synthetic cell constructs that replace the natural cells currently used in conventional biotechnology.  相似文献

A fast dynamic ion cooling technique based upon the adiabatic invariant phenomenon for Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FTICR) is presented. The method cools ions in the FTICR trap more efficiently, within a few hundred milliseconds without the use of a buffer gas, and results in a substantial signal enhancement. All performance aspects of the FTICR spectrum, e.g., peak intensities, mass resolution, and mass accuracy, improve significantly compared with cooling based on ion-ion interactions. The method may be useful in biological applications of FTICR, such as in proteomic studies involving extended on-line liquid chromatography (LC) separations, in which both the duty cycle and mass accuracy are crucially important.  相似文献

Bioluminescence is produced by a broad range of organisms for defense, predation or communication purposes. Southern elephant seal (SES) vision is adapted to low‐intensity light with a peak sensitivity, matching the wavelength emitted by myctophid species, one of the main preys of female SES. A total of 11 satellite‐tracked female SESs were equipped with a time‐depth‐light 3D accelerometer (TDR10‐X) to assess whether bioluminescence could be used by SESs to locate their prey. Firstly, we demonstrated experimentally that the TDR10‐X light sensor was sensitive enough to detect natural bioluminescence; however, we highlighted a low‐distance detection of the sensor. Then, we linked the number of prey capture attempts (PCAs), assessed from accelerometer data, with the number of detected bioluminescence events. PCA was positively related to bioluminescence, which provides strong support that bioluminescence is involved in predator–prey interactions for these species. However, the limitations of the sensor did not allow us to discern whether bioluminescence (i) provided remote indication of the biological richness of the area to SES, (ii) was emitted as a mechanic reaction or (iii) was emitted as a defense mechanism in response to SES behavior.  相似文献

Methane pyrolysis via thermal plasma was investigated experimentally on a 2 kW DC arc plasma setup in argon atmosphere. Two widely applied methane pyrolysis profiles, i.e., pre-mixing methane and argon before fed into plasma torch, and injecting methane into pure argon plasma jet at torch outlet, were compared. Performances of methane pyrolysis regarding to methane conversion, acetylene selectivity, acetylene specific energy requirement (SER), and plasma stability were concluded. Results showed that pre-mixing methane and argon before fed into plasma torch would be efficient in converting methane and acetylene production, with higher conversion of methane and lower SER to acetylene at a given specific energy. Also, methane in arc zone would cause periodic fluctuations of plasma voltage and power, which could be reduced by controlling methane fraction in feed. On the other hand, when methane was injected into argon plasma jet at torch outlet, the energy efficiency in converting methane and producing acetylene would be lower. And the plasma would barely participate in the reaction other than providing heat, but the erosion of electrode was much slower and slighter. It was also validated that the SER of acetylene was limited by the thermal loss of the setup due to size-effect of reactor.  相似文献
