A frame in a Hilbert space
allows every element in
to be written as a linear combination of the frame elements, with coefficients called frame coefficients. Calculations of
those coefficients and many other situations where frames occur, requires knowledge of the inverse frame operator. But usually
it is hard to invert the frame operator if the underlying Hilbert space is infinite dimensional. In the present paper we introduce
a method for approximation of the inverse frame operator using finite subsets of the frame. In particular this allows to approximate

We present ratios of the numbers of charged antihadrons to hadrons (pions, kaons, and protons) in Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s(NN)]=200 GeV as a function of rapidity in the range y=0-3. While the ratios at midrapidity are approaching unity, the K(-)/K(+) and p;/p ratios decrease significantly at forward rapidities. An interpretation of the results within the statistical model indicates a reduction of the baryon chemical potential from mu(B) approximately 130 MeV at y=3 to mu(B) approximately 25 MeV at y=0. 相似文献

A nonlinear regression scheme for determining heat transfer correlations from overall heat exchanger measurements is presented. The proposed scheme is valid for any two-fluid heat exchanger data where only one fluid's thermal resistance varies. The resulting regression model has three unknowns; two are associated with the variable resistance, and the third is the sum of all other resistances. The model can be analyzed only by using nonlinear regression because it cannot be transformed into linear form. Unlike existing approximate methods of analysis (known as modified Wilson plots), the proposed scheme is guaranteed to converge if a solution exists.
