Four metallated conjugated oligothiophenes,S-1,S-2,S-3 and S-4,with platinum(II)aryleneethynylenes as the electron-rich building block were synthesized to investigate their physicochemical and photovoltaic properties.These small molecules possess fairly low-lying HOMO energy levels which match with the LUMO energy level of the electron acceptor PC70BM([6,6]-phenyl-C71-butyric acid methyl ester).Using the simple process of spin-coating solution fabrication technique,S-1:PC70BM(1:4,w/w)based organic solar cells exhibiting a high Voc of 0.913 V,with a PCE value of 0.88%were developed.In contrast,the OSC device based on S-2:PC70BM(3:7,w/w)displayed a higher PCE of 1.59%with a higher Jsc value of 5.89m A cm–2.The device based on S-4:PC70BM(1:4,w/w)exhibited a PCE value of 1.56%,with a Voc of 0.917 V. 相似文献
The preparation of size‐controllable Fe2O3 nanoparticles grown in nanoporous carbon with tuneable pore diameters is reported. These hybrid materials exhibit strong non‐linear magnetic properties and a magnetic moment of approximately 229 emu g?1, which is the highest value ever reported for nanoporous hybrids, and can be attributed to the nanosieve effect and the strong interaction between the nanoparticles and the carbon walls. 相似文献
The ability of activated carbon to adsorb three acidic dyes, namely, Acid Blue 80 (AB80), Acid Red 114 (AR114), and Acid Yellow (AY117), from wastewater has been studied at 20 degrees C. The three single-component systems and the three binary equilibrium systems have been measured experimentally. The three single-component isotherms were analyzed using the Langmuir, Freundlich, Redlich-Peterson, and Sips equations. The Redlich-Peterson equation gave the lowest errors using the sum of the squares of the errors closely followed by the Sips and Langmuir equations; the Freundlich fits were significantly worse. The three bisolute experimental equilibrium sets of data were analyzed by incorporating the previous four single-component isotherm equations into the ideal adsorbed solution theory (IAST). The solution methods for each of the four isotherm equations are presented in the paper, and the predicted results for the three bisolute systems, using the four isotherm equations, are compared. For the three bisolute systems (AB80 + AR114, AB80 + AY117, and AR114 + AY117), the Redlich-Peterson isotherm gives the best correlation with the experimental isotherm data. 相似文献
In this work, polyester polyols with high weight average molecular weight (Mw) (Mw?10000–15000) were prepared from epoxidized palm olein (EPOo) and a series of dicarboxylic acids (C6–C12) at elevated temperature under non‐catalyzed condition. The optimal reaction conditions were determined as 180°C for 4 h. Longer carbon chain length of dicarboxylic acids was more reactive when reacted with EPOo. The physical appearance of the product was observed as liquid at room temperature. This palm oil‐based polyester polyol is proposed as starting material for flexible polyurethane. For reaction monitoring purposes, FTIR was used while 1H NMR analysis was carried out to characterize the important functional groups of the products. The effects of reaction time and temperature on the Mw of the reaction mixture were also studied by GPC. 相似文献
Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) are biocompatible materials which can be used as drug‐delivery nanovehicles. In order to define the optimum size of LDH nanoparticles for efficient cellular uptake and drug‐delivery pathway, we prepared different sized LDH nanoparticles with narrow size distribution by modulating the crystal growth rate, and labelled each LDH particle with a fluorophore using a silane coupling reaction. The cellular uptake rate of LDHs was found to be highly dependent on particle size (50>200≥100>350 nm), whose range of 50 to 200 nm was selectively internalized into cells through clathrin‐mediated endocytosis with enhanced permeability and retention. Our study clearly shows that not only the particle size plays an important role in the endocytic pathway and processing, but also the size control of LDH nanoparticles results in their targeted uptake to site‐specific clathrin‐mediated endocytosis. This result provides a new perspective for the design of LDH nanoparticles with maximum ability towards targeted drug delivery. 相似文献
The mechanical stimulus (i.e., stress or stretch) for growth occurring in the pressure-overloaded left ventricle (LV) is not exactly known.
Objective
To address this issue, we investigate the correlation between local ventricular growth (indexed by local wall thickness) and the local acute changes in mechanical stimuli after aortic banding.
Methods
LV geometric data were extracted from 3D echo measurements at baseline and 2 weeks in the aortic banding swine model (n?=?4). We developed and calibrated animal-specific finite element (FE) model of LV mechanics against pressure and volume waveforms measured at baseline. After simulation of the acute effects of pressure-overload, the local changes of maximum, mean and minimum myocardial stretches and stresses in three orthogonal material directions (i.e., fiber, sheet and sheet-normal) over a cardiac cycle were quantified. Correlation between mechanical quantities and the corresponding measured local changes in wall thickness was quantified using the Pearson correlation number (PCN) and Spearman rank correlation number (SCN).
Results
At 2 weeks after banding, the average septum thickness decreased from 10.6?±?2.92 mm to 9.49?±?2.02 mm, whereas the LV free-wall thickness increased from 8.69?±?1.64 mm to 9.4?±?1.22 mm. The FE results show strong correlation of growth with the changes in maximum fiber stress (PCN?=?0.5471, SCN?=?0.5111) and changes in the mean sheet-normal stress (PCN?=?0.5266, SCN?=?0.5256). Myocardial stretches, however, do not have good correlation with growth.
Conclusion
These results suggest that fiber stress is the mechanical stimuli for LV growth in pressure-overload.
We have synthesized heterostructured zinc oxide-aluminosilicate nanohybrids through a hydrothermal reaction between the colloidal suspension of exfoliated montmorillonite nanosheets and the sol solution of zinc acetate. According to X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm, and field emission-scanning electron microscopic analyses, it was found that the intercalation of zinc oxide nanoparticles expands the basal spacing of the host montmorillonite clay, and the crystallites of the nanohybrids are assembled to form a house-of-cards structure. From UV-vis spectroscopic investigation, it becomes certain that calcined nanohybrid contains two kinds of the zinc oxide species in the interlayer space of host lattice and in mesopores formed by the house-of-cards type stacking of the crystallites. Zn K-edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure/extended X-ray absorption fine structure analyses clearly demonstrate that guest species in the nanohybrids exist as nanocrystalline zinc oxides with wurzite-type structure. 相似文献
