An analytical expression of the modified form of the Einstein relation in heavily doped semiconductors in which Gaussian band
tails are formed near the lower limit of heavy doping is derived for studying the temperature dependence of the diffusivity-mobility
ratio of the carriers in such semiconductors. It is found that, with increasing temperature from relatively low values, the
ratio first increases in a nonlinear manner and then decreases till, at high temperatures, it approaches its value corresponding

The introduction of Paul traps, in particular linear radio-frequency quadrupoles in the early 2000s, has revolutionized the use of ion traps for probing the properties of radioactive nuclides. It opened the path to trapping all available nuclides, independent of their chemical properties. In this article, we have shown that using delay dynamical systems as base, one can use the modulation of the various parameters, to transmit multiple signals through a single chaotic time series. It is shown that under certain conditions the original signals and parameters of the driving signals can be recovered with the help of an adaptive demodulator. An important aspect of the present method is that the communication is possible between two time-delayed systems with parameter mismatch using lag and anticipatory synchronization. We present a complete theoretical analysis of the periodic and non-periodic travelling waves in a diatomic chain model, in
the continuum limit by incorporating nonlinear sixth order polarization potential (φ6) at the anion site. We have formulated a nonlinear lattice dynamical theory in which various energy curves are obtained for
different types and magnitudes of the core-shell force constants. For periodic solutions, we have obtained two types of commensurate
wave amplitudes which propagate in the opposite direction with respect to each other. For nonperiodic solutions, we have obtained
various travelling excitations such as kink, antikink, excitons etc. for different values of the mass ratio and velocity parameter.
The dipole moment per unit charge for SrTiO3 has been calculated and it is found that the nonlinear excitations in this model carry large amount of energy as compared

Undoped, Be-doped and Si-doped polycrystalline GaN films were deposited by
R.F. sputtering onto fused silica substrates. The films were deposited at various deposition temperatures ranging from 300 K
to 623 K and characterized by optical measurements while the microstructural information was obtained from SEM and XRD studies.
The compositional study for the GaN film was carried out using SIMS. Residual stresses in these films were evaluated from
the band tail of the absorption spectra as well as from direct measurements of hardness by commercially available depth sensing
indentometer. It was observed that undoped GaN films had the highest hardness followed by that for Be-doped and Si-doped films.
The values of hardness obtained form the above optical measurement tallied quite well with those obtained from direct indentation

Choosing the three phenomenological models of the dynamical cosmological term Λ, viz.,

and Λ∼ρ where a is the cosmic scale factor, it has been shown by the method of numerical analysis for the considered non-linear differential
equations that the three models are equivalent for the flat Universe k=0 and for arbitrary non-linear equation of state. The evolution plots for dynamical cosmological term Λ vs. time t and also the cosmic scale factor a vs. t are drawn here for k=0,+1. A qualitative analysis has been made from the plots which supports the idea of inflation and hence expanding Universe. 相似文献
