The effect of silver nanostructures prepared by nanosphere lithography on the photoluminescence(PL) properties of blue-emitting In Ga N/Ga N quantum wells(QWs) is studied. Arrays of silver nanoparticles are fabricated to yield a collective surface plasmonic resonance(SPR) near to the QWs emission wavelength. A large enhancement in peak PL intensity is observed, when the induced SPR wavelength of the nanoparticles on the QWs sample matches the QWs emission wavelength. The study proves that the SPRs could enhance the light emission efficiency of semiconductor material.  相似文献

In this paper, the dimensions of bivariate spline spaces are studied using the Smoothing Cofactor-Conformality method. Based on the analysis on the conformality condition at one interior vertex, the stability (or singularity to the contrary) of the dimensions of general spline spaces is discussed in detail. By the aid of directed partition some new results on dimensions are obtained with the corresponding constraints depending on the degree, the smoothness order of the spline spaces and the structure of the partition as well.  相似文献

The quadrilateral discrete Kirchhoff thin plate bending element DKQ is based on the isoparametric element Q8, however, the accuracy of the isoparametric quadrilateral elements will drop significantly due to mesh distortions. In a previous work, we constructed an 8-node quadrilateral spline element L8 using the triangular area coordinates and the Bnet method, which can be insensitive to mesh distortions and possess the second order completeness in the Cartesian coordinates. In this paper, a thin plate spline element is developed based on the spline element L8 and the refined technique. Numerical examples show that the present element indeed possesses higher accuracy than the DKQ element for distorted meshes.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss how to obtain the parametric surface of minimal area defined on a rectangular parameter domain among all the surfaces with prescribed entire or partial borders, i.e, the quasi-Plateau problem. An approximation method is presented based on the Multiresolution Analysis (MRA) using B-splines. Four algorithms are proposed according to different cases of the boundary conditions. The solution surfaces can be obtained by solving a system of linear equations of simple and sparse structure. Examples are provided to illustrate that the proposed method is effective and flexible.  相似文献

We demonstrate the fabrication of hexagonal nano-pillar arrays at the surface of GaN-based light-emitting diodes (LEDs) by nanosphere lithography. By varying the oxygen plasma etching time, we could tune the size and shape of the pillar. The nano-pillar has a truncated cone shape. The nano-pillar array serves as a gradual effective refractive index matcher, which reduces the reflection and increases light cone. It is found that the patterned surface absorbs more pumping light. To compare extraction efficiencies of LEDs, it is necessary to normalize the photoluminescence power spectrum with total absorption rate under fixed pumping power, then we could obtain the correct enhancement factor of the photoluminescence extraction efficiency and optimized structure. The highest enhancement factor of the extraction efficiency is 10.6.  相似文献

0.91Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.09PbTiO 3(PZN-9%PT) single crystals with different orientations are investigated by using a spectroscopic ellipsometer,and the refractive indices and the extinction coefficients are obtained.The Sellmeier dispersion equations for the refractive indices are obtained by the least square fitting,which can be used to calculate the refractive indices in a low absorption wavelength range.Average Sellmeier oscillator parameters E o,λ o,S o,and E d are calculated by fitting with the single-term oscillator equation,which are related directly to the electronic energy band structure.The optical energy bandgaps are obtained from the absorption coefficient spectra.Our results show that the optical properties of [001] and [111] poled crystals are very similar,but quite different from those of the [011] poled crystal.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel in-plane photonic crystal channel drop filter.The device is composed of a resonant cavity sandwiched by two parallel waveguides.The cavity has two resonant modes with opposite symmetries.Tuning these two modes into degeneracy causes destructive interference in bus waveguide,which results in high forward drop efficiency at the resonant wavelength.From the result of numerical analysis by using two-dimensional finite-difference time-domain method,the channel drop filter has a drop efficiency of 96% and a Q value of over 3000,which can be used in dense wavelength division multiplexing systems.  相似文献

依据Z-scan技术,使用波长532nm的纳秒脉冲,研究了通过聚焦的飞秒脉冲诱导并辅以热处理得到的金纳米粒子析出的玻璃的非线性吸收.观察到金纳米粒子析出的玻璃具有饱和吸收特性.根据局域场效应,对实验结果拟合,得到在接近表面等离子体共振激发情况下,金纳米粒子三阶极化率虚部分别为Imχ(3)m=57×10-7esu.玻璃样品中金纳米粒子的非线性响应主要起源于热电子贡献. 关键词: 带内跃迁 带间跃迁 热电子贡献  相似文献

In this paper,a 13-node pyramid spline element is derived by using the tetrahedron volume coordinates and the B-net method,which achieves the second order completeness in Cartesian coordinates.Some appropriate examples were employed to evaluate the performance of the proposed element.The numerical results show that the spline element has much better performance compared with the isoparametric serendipity element Q20 and its degenerate pyramid element P13 especially when mesh is distorted,and it is comparable to the Lagrange element Q27.It has been demonstrated that the spline finite element method is an efficient tool for developing high accuracy elements.  相似文献

The influence of substrate temperature and annealing on quality/microstructural evolution of MgO, as well as the resultant magnetoresistance (MR) ratio, has been investigated. It has been found that the crystallinity of MgO in the MgO/NiFe/MgO heterostructures gradually improves with increasing substrate temperature. This behavior facilitates the transport of spin-polarized electrons, resulting in a high MR value. After annealing, the formation of vacancy clusters in MgO layers observed through positron annihilation spectroscopy leads to an increase in MR at different levels because of the crystallinity improvement of MgO. However, these vacancy clusters as another important defect can limit further improvement in MR.  相似文献
