Synthesis of uronoyldipeptide derivatives of N-acetylglucosamine and of N-acetylmuramoyldipeptide

Starting from benzyl 3,4-di-O-acetyl-6-O-trityl-N-acetyl-β-glucosamine and benzyl α-benzyl-4-O-acetyl-N-acetylmuramate, 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucopyranuronyl-L-alanyl-D-isoglutamine and O-(2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucopyranuronyl-L-alanyl-D-isoglutamin-3-yl)-D-lactoyl-L-alanyl-D-isoglutamine — uronoyldipeptide analogs of N-acetylglucosamine and N-acetylmuramoyl dipeptides — have been synthesized.     

Triterpene glycosides of Hedera taurica

Two triterpene glycosides have been isolated from the leaves ofHedera taurica Carr. (Crimean ivy), family Araliaceae — taurosides B and C, for which, on the basis of the results of chemical and physicochemical methods of investigation the following structures are proposed: 3-0--L-arabinopyranosylhederagenin and 3-0-[0--L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 2)--L-arabinopyranosyl]oleanolic acid.M. Synthesis of conjugates of glyco amino acids and glycopeptides with carboxylic acid hydrazides

It is proposed to use a hydrazine bridge for obtaining conjugates of glycopeptides with biologically active carboxylic acids. Synthesis of hydrophobic derivatives of muramyldipeptides

Methyl esters of the cyclohexyl-, phenethyl-, (2-naphthyl)methyl-, and 2-(1-naphthyl)ethyl -glycosides of N-acetylmuramyl-L-analyl-D-isoglutamine have been synthesized. The corresponding glycosides of N-acetylglucosamine were obtained by glycosylating the alcohols with the peracetate of -glucosaminyl chloride in the presence of HgI₂, followed by deacetylation. Subsequent benzylidenation and alkylation with -L-chloropropionic acid led to glycosylmuramic acids, the condensation of which with the dipeptide and final debenzylidenation gave the desired glycopeptides.Simferopol' State University, 333036, Ukraine, Crimea, Simferopol', ul.
