[n]Helicenes with helically twisted structures have attracted increasing interest owing to their unique properties. Therefore, it has been an important issue to develop facile synthetic methodologies which allow access to a variety of [n]helicenes. Here we report the synthesis of [7]helicenes and [7]helicene-like compounds from the thia[7]helicene as a common starting material. Desulfurative dilithiation of the thia[7]helicene and the subsequent reaction with silicon and phosphorus electrophiles afforded the silole- and phosphole-fused [7]helicene-like compounds, respectively. The cyclopentadiene-fused [7]helicene-like compound and the pyrrole-fused aza[7]helicenes were also successfully synthesized via twofold SNAr reactions of the thia[7]helicene S,S-dioxide with the carbon and nitrogen nucleophiles, respectively. The thia[7]helicene S,S-dioxide showed a slightly red-shifted absorption spectrum than the parent thia[7]helicene, which was well demonstrated by the theoretical calculations. The substituents on the silicon atom of silole-fused [7]helicene-like compounds have little impact on the longest absorption maximum. Such little effect of the substituents on absorption properties was also observed for cyclopentadiene-fused [7]helicene-like compounds and aza[7]helicenes and was well demonstrated by the theoretical calculations. The thia[7]helicene S,S-dioxide and the silole-fused [7]helicene-like compound exhibited bright blue emission, and the cyclopentadiene-fused [7]helicene-like compound and the aza[7]helicenes showed strong violet emission. Each single enantiomer of the aza[7]helicenes showed circularly-polarized luminescence with the dissymmetry factors of 4.2~4.4 × 10−3. 相似文献

Bioactive organic-inorganic hybrids were synthesized through sol-gel processing starting from -methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane. NMR-spectroscopic studies showed the presence of silanol groups (Si–OH) and Si–O–Si bonds. In vitro tests of the hybrids for bioactivity with a simulated body fluid (Kokubo solution) indicated that only calcium-containing hybrids could form apatite on their surfaces. Electrode–electrolyte hetero-epitaxial systems for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) with two different configuration of Nd2NiO4 + δ(110)//YSZ(100) and Nd2NiO4 + δ(100)//YSZ(110) were successfully fabricated by pulsed laser deposition. Thin films of Nd2NiO4 + δ approximately 20 nm thick were grown on a commercial single crystal of YSZ. The preferred two-dimensional diffusion paths of the oxide ions were perpendicular to the substrate for both configurations and showed oxygen reduction capability different from each other. A robust and photoresponsive DNA network has been designed and constructed from branched DNA and molecular glue. The molecular glue is photoswitchable and can specifically bind to G-G mismatched double-stranded DNA. The assembly process can be reversibly controlled by manipulating the wavelength of light. The approach is flexible, allowing tuning of the size, morphology as well as the cavity of the network by variation of the molar ratio and the isotropic/anisotropic character of the branched building blocks. A laser spectroscopic technique for studying fluctuations of structural objects is presented, together with some results of our investigations including an observation of forced vibration of a refrigerator, intrinsic vibrations of buildings, and appearance of a fluctuation in rotational speed due to fatigue. An alternative detection technique which uses the scattered light for monitoring in place of the mirror-reflected beam is also presented. A leak of water out of a pipeline was detected with this method. The results obtained with this laser spectroscopic technique should form a useful collection of data regarding fluctuation analysis of various objects. 相似文献

ABSTRACTHigh pressure hydrous phases with distorted rutile-type structure have attracted much interest as potential water reservoirs in the Earth’s mantle. An in-situ X-ray diffraction study of β-CrOOH was performed at high pressures of up to 6.2?GPa and high-temperatures of up to 700?K in order to clarify the temperature effect on compression behaviors of β-CrOOH. The P-V-T data fitted to a Birch–Murnaghan equation of state yielded the following results: isothermal bulk modulus KT0?=?191(4)?GPa, temperature derivative (?KT/?T)P?=??0.04(2)?GPa?K?1, and volumetric thermal expansion coefficient α?=?3.3(2)?×?10?5?K?1. In this study, at 300?K, the a-axis became less compressible at pressures above 1–2?GPa. We found that the pressure where the slopes of a/b and a/c ratios turned positive increased with temperature. This is the first experimental study indicating the temperature dependence of the change in the axial compressibility in distorted rutile-type M3+OOH. 相似文献
